Alunite was wandering tonight - going though areas that Fluorite had pointed out to him as being nice spots to gather energy. He was doing his best to mentally map them.
One of these was the park. He could see how it could work - work at night, lure them away from the street. He wasn't sure if he liked to be alone like this. He hadn't felt a senshi yet, but...
Well, he wasn't sure if he was truly equiped to handle one in a fight just yet. He probably should look in self-defense classes, but those that he had seen advertized were packed - no small wonder, given the occurrences of Destiny City.

Lieutenant Labyrinthite seemed to favor frequenting the park whenever he was on his energy rounds or even for the occasional starseed. He felt it was where he would find either a lot of civilian activity or senshi activity. It was also the park where he had encountered his first corrupted senshi, it would also be the park where he met his second corrupted senshi.
Normally the pink haired teen would be itching for a fight, but tonight he was casually strolling through the park. Tonight he kept his weapon in the subspace, having no current need, even as he looked for potential targets to drain. His amber eyes scanned his surroundings hoping to find someone when he stopped as a dark, crackling, aura of energy washed over him. He scrunched his face in partial puzzlement as he turned on his heel and began a brisk walk towards the source of it. There had only been once when he had felt a pulse of energy like the one he felt, albeit that one was stronger, so he assumed it could only be one thing.
A corrupted senshi.
As he came up towards Alunite he found himself smiling. Coming to a stop he stuck one hand in the pocket of his pants and called out to the other man. "Hey." He might not get a fight tonight but he could easily get a good conversation. Senshi in the negaverse had always fascinated him, he was curious.
Very curious.

The new aura that washed over his senses - thankfully dark, a negaverse agent - made him stop and turn to face in the direction he had felt it. And it so happened that this was the direction from which Labyrinthite eventually emerged from.
"Hey." He said in turn. "I had no idea there was already someone here..." Overlapping couldn't be too efficient, and if the lieutenant wanted him to go somewhere else, he would.
Though, much like the boy was curious about corrupted senshi, so was Alunite curious about negaverse agents and senshi alike.

"Nah, no worries," the teen quickly responded, amber eyes glancing over the corrupt casually. "The park is a big place," he stated taking a hand out of his pocket to rake it through his fohawk before sticking it out towards the other boy in the form of a handshake. "I haven't seen you around before," he pointed out, brow furrowing slightly as he tried to figure out if he had seen anyone similar to the guy before him. Something pegged him as familiar but not in a, he reminds me of a civilian sort of way but more of a he looks related to someone sort of way.
When he could not place it he pushed the feeling out of his thoughts simply because it was probably imagined and nothing to fret or concern himself about. "I'm Lieutenant Labyrinthite," he introduced himself, grinning. "You're the first guy senshi on our side that I've met," he stated rather bluntly diving straight into the conversation without second thought.

Alunite reached for the hand to shake it, then nodded long to his next words. "Im still pretty new... So it makes sense, really."
"Im Alunite." No rank, no sailor, nothing. Just Alunite. It suited him just fine. "I've been told there arn't many senshi in our ranks, though my sister said she met a few, and one of them was male, too. The rest are all girls, or so im told."

Chase simply nodded in agreement when Alunite explained that he was new. The pink haired teen had figured as much, he had never seen the other boy before. Then again, Labyrinthite himself was relatively new but definitely not as new as the senshi. "I think senshi in general are primarily female," he commented thoughtfully thinking of all the senshi he had met in general.
The number hadn't been too big but he had met his fair share and they were predominately female. He had met, actually met, only one male, he had seen a few others too. He found himself wondering about senshi powers and what they did, from what he had learned it was primarily magic in different forms.
"What kind of magic do you have up your sleeve?" He inquired, interested in what corrupted senshi magic might do. "Wait you have a sister in the negaverse too?" He crinkled his brow at the thought, he had always figured it to be possible but he didn't know anyone who was related, related in the ranks.

Alunite let out a small thoughtful hmmm at the notion that senshi were mostly female. That might indeed be the case, given the high ratio of female negaverse senshi, and the fact that he had only met females senshi so far. "I think that's the case..."
Wouldn't surprise him. Perhaps that was why skirts were the norm. Ngh.
Alunite pondered for a moment - well, he'd been told nothing about keeping it secret to fellow agents. "Fluorite is my little sister." He answered with a nod. "And handler, through I like to think I can handle myself just fine on my own."
Seriously. Tsk.
"My magic is a little hard to explain, but... I can make myself invisible to senshi. I think I can make others invisible, too, but I've never tried it... Like, senshi can't see me, but other agents can ? And it just makes my... aura wider so that they can't tell where I am."
Auras. Still a relatively confusing business.

"It's about time we got more guys around though," he said thoughtfully raking a hand through his fohawk. "Oh, explains the purple hair," he nodded when Flourite was mentioned. Kaia talked about her, considered her to be like a sister even. "I dig it though, don't think I can pull it off. Pink and a tealish blue are the only colors I can rock besides black," he shrugged tugging on a bundle of pink locks.
He quieted when Alunite began to explain his unique ability, he stared thoughtfully going as far to delicately tab his chin as if he was intrigued. "Invisible? I have to say that's pretty bad a**," he stated firmly, a big grin on his lips. "Do you wanna try and make someone else invisible?" He asked, a few ideas popping into his head about the things he could do if he were invisible. Most of them were very mischievous thoughts. "How long does it last, do you know?"

Alunite really couldn't imagine himself with his hair being any other color than it's natural one. He was just too used to it, and dyeing it was out of the question.
Though it did make him wonder what would happen if he dyed his hair then powered up. Would his hair go apeshit all in the same color or go apeshit in a most mix-matched color inferno ?
Yeah, he wasn't checking that out. Ever.
"I've never dyed my hair, I dunno. Would be awkward ?" He wasn't sure if even his sister ever had, honestly...
"I could try ? I... think civilians can still see, through. It's only senshi." A pain, that. "I'd say... maybe 10 seconds ish ? It's really not long."

Pink definitely wasn't Chase's natural hair color but he'd had it for so long that some people could easily assume it was. He was pretty sure that the particular shade of black he sported now wasn't his natural hair color either, but it was close enough that he hardly ever had to redye it. Though, now that he was thinking about it, it might be time for some sort of change.
"Nah," he shrugged waving a hand about. "Probably not, just different. If you like it why change it though?" Personally he was a fan of those with the crazy natural hair colors, probably less maintenance than having to constantly touch up fading colors and what not. "It's too much hassle to maintain dyed hair sometimes."
He listened, interested in the senshi's abilities but frowned at the information. "Aw man, really?" He shook his head, disappointed. "Lame. Why such a short time limit?" You couldn't do anything in 10 seconds.

"Yeah, I bet it can be." Roots... ugh. He saw no reason why people blew a lot of money to mess with their hair color.
Money was better spent elsewhere. Computer parts, for example... And tea. Always tea.
"I have no idea. You can get a hit in, through. Or run." Not the most glamorous, yes, but his attack had saved his a**. "I... guess it will get better as I get stronger ?"

Getting a hit in while your opponent couldn't see you seemed like a plus but the idea of using the ability to run didn't sound that great to him. Of course that was because running away felt like losing the fight and Labyrinthite hated losing. He wrinkled his nose at the idea but could see how the ability could come in handy.
"Are you a fast runner?" Ten seconds wasn't likely to get you far, probably far enough to still make a get away but still..."I hope so, cause ten seconds is a pretty sucky time limit," he replied folding his hands behind his head. He didn't understand the whole magic business, he much preferred his weapon to the weird magic used by senshi.
Weapons seemed more practical.

"I run pretty fast." It helped when you had motivation to help you along, through. Alunite wasn't that much of a fan of running away, either, but he preferred to come out in one piece to fight another day than to be out of commission for weeks. "It is kinda sucky, through."
Ironically, Alunite would agree on weapons being more practical. There were still days when he'd wished he'd been Lieutenant Alunite - it would have just been so much easier.
He hadn't yet realized the sheer potential his magic held for the negaverse.

"That's good," he mumbled thinking of the advantages being invisible, if only for a seconds, could offer. In a battle it could prove to be handy, especially if more than one of them were invisible. Hm, perhaps it was more useful than he previously thought. Though, he concluded he'd have to see it in combat before he could completely assess it.
"Could be better than a toy though," he replied summoning his weapon from subspace. He weighed it in his hand thoughtfully. It was hollow and plastic, not really practical but it proved to be hand sometimes. "Bet it'll get better strong you get. Lots of possibilities," he stated cracking a grin.

Alunite's face when he saw the weapon was hilarious - caught somewhere in between disbelief and surprise, really. They really all got shitty weapons starting out, didn't they ?
Through, really... That flamingo was probably superior to his sister's card. "Well... I guess you can club them in the head ?"
He shrugged. "Through, I should probably go... Fluorite will probably freak out if im not in the meeting point we agreed about soon."
