Chaonis had never exactly been the most moral of beings on this planet. Even before he had become a senshi, or rather particularly before, he had always been knee deep in trouble. Hanging out with the wrong crowd, causing trouble for the hell of it, pissing people off because he knew he could: he never let any concept of guilt or 'right and wrong' get in his way of enjoying himself.

He lived dangerously, even before he became the Senshi of Danger. But now he was, and that didn't slow him down much.

In fact, it aided him. Now he had super powers to use in his escapades. Never fond of doing the same thing for too long, if he got too used to fighting for 'good' or hunting youma he felt the pull to do something for himself. Payment owed, by the city at large, in a way. He protected them, after all, and it was only fair to take some small payment for himself.

Tonight, he was helping himself to some pet care items. His dad had gotten that little dog not too long ago, and she was deciding that she liked Nathan a lot. Nate wanted to find toys or treats or something to keep her away from him. Maybe a secret leash he could use to tie her just short of reaching him when he was chilling in his room or on the sofa.

Sailor Chaonis had broken the door of the little store easily enough. It was a family owned place with little security and certainly no alarm. He was riffling through the shelves, the lights of the store that was supposed to be closed at this late hour stretching from the door, resting ajar and broken.

He was humming to himself as if he were shopping, though he had no intention of paying.

Every so often, it was nice to just defeat some common thief as they committed a petty crime. It was honestly like an ego boost for any failing Senshi that they could do some sort of good for the city. Even if the city still labeled them as terrorists. Any senshi could easily defeat a basic criminal with a few punches and kicks.

At least, that was the way Sailor Iris saw it.

So as the blonde patrolled that evening, she could not help but feel a bit of giddy excitement deep in her stomach as she saw the broken door of the pet store. As she stepped up to the door, she already had it in her mind how this was going to run down. She'd beat up the robbers pretty easily (though they might start laughing at her because of her feathery a**) and dump their asses at the police station. There would be no drama dealing with the Negaverse, cats, senshi, or any of that stuff that made her life more complicated. Simple problem, simple solution.

The yellow suited senshi entered the little shop, her feet shifting some of the broken glass about a bit. It was a sloppy robbery, but at the same time, there weren't really any alarms, so maybe this thief was a bit more experienced than they let on.

"Hey dipshit! Ya got such a crappy lil' life ya gotta rob a pet store?" she called out, her voice echoing throughout the small space. She continued to casually walk about, keeping an eye out for whoever the thief was.

Chaonis looked up from what he was doing when he heard the voice mocking him. He didn't think whoever it belonged to could actually see him, though.

They would not have said anything like that if they could see him.

He immediately felt a strong energy, though. It was pure, like his own, but stronger. That was a surprise: he hadn't met anyone stronger than him before. At once he bristled, and was upset about it. He wanted to prove that energy meant nothing, and he could fight this strong senshi, no problem.

Probably.

Of course, he should have known better than that. Senshi were split into levels on purpose. But he had never run into an Eternal, so he didn't think the difference could be that big. Plus, what if she was one of those lame 'defense only' fighters?

He grinned, a bag in his hand, stepping out so she could see him. He hadn't taken any money, mostly because she had gotten to him before he could.

"Nah, I've just got a really annoying dog. You need anything?" He asked, flippant as usual.

What the Super Senshi would see was a tall blonde girl with her arms crossed. She had feathers sprouting out of the back of her uniform, which didn't exactly make her seem very intimidating in all honesty. However, the teenage girl's gold eyes glared at him harshly as he stepped out into view.

The thief was a senshi? A SENSHI was stealing stuff from the pet shop?! This was absolutely mind boggling and in all honesty against everything Sailor Iris believed in.

"I need ya t'get yer a** outta 'ere before I kick it outta 'ere!" The girl uncrossed her arms for a moment so she could crack the knuckles on her left hand with her right one. She didn't explain anything beyond that. If this guy was smart, he'd think about exiting without any struggling.

Chaonis sized her up. She looked like she knew what she was doing, or at least had confidence to match his, but she also had feathers and looked very... prissy. He grinned at her, immediately, shaking his head and making a comment about that without saying anything.

He wasn't impressed yet.

"Hey, I didn't even go to highschool and I can speak better than that," he said offhandedly, ignoring her. "You know we use h's, right?"

Sizing her up wasn't enough. He needed to see what a senshi up the ranks could do. And since he didn't have a Nega or youma conveniently stored away, he would just have to do things the hard way. The direct way. Easy wasn't always fun, anyway.

He finally put the bag down, but kept it near his foot, not inclined to leave his ill gotten gains behind.

"You want me to leave, you're gonna have to make me."

Nope, not smart.

It sadly wasn't the first time she had heard that comment about the letter H. In fact, many of her English teachers had mentioned it many a time before to her. However, in actual everyday speaking, it made no sense to enunciate like some scholar from England. If she was reading something aloud, then she'd fix up her slang a bit. Not now. Not for something like this.

"Who th' hell cares who speaks better right now? It ain't important!" Her body had tensed up slightly, but the yellow suited senshi eventually loosened herself up again, something a bit more fitting to her style.

"I was waitin' for ya t'say that..."

With that, she rushed at him, her fist already balled up tightly in preparation for a fight. Despite how frilly the fuku might have seemed, there was something about the way she moved that seemed to reek of experience. Perhaps it was the slight boost in speed that came with the Eternal butt-feathers. Or perhaps it was all of the experience she gained from earning that rank of Eternal.

Whatever it was, she didn't hesitate to swing her fist towards his face when she got close enough. Her other arm was already tensed up, prepared to defend as needed.

Chaonis grinned. A temper, which he could easily relate to. Oh yes, this senshi was very much like him, though she seemed quicker to get to that temper than he usually was. Still, anyone who liked picking fights was someone he wanted to fight, so it worked out for him.

He watched her with his dark eyes, tensing when he saw her body shift and suddenly lunge at him. The fight was on, and he was ready for it. Or so he thought, at least.

"Someone's frilly panties are in a bunch," he said, tossing both of his arms up to block the fist flying for his face. He was surprised by how hard the hit was when it connected with his arm, and he instantly knew he would have to be a bit more serious if he wanted to avoid getting his butt handed to him without any effort on the other senshi's part.

That would just be embarrassing.

He might not have been an Eternal, but he was a Super who spent almost all of his days fighting. It was what he prided himself on, and he was not going to go down without a good one. Arms still up in the block, he lashed his leg out. It left him balanced on one, but he seemed sturdy enough. He focused on the kick, swinging for her knee.
PostPosted: Sat May 28, 2011 3:17 pm

In all honesty, the blonde hadn't expected that first hit to connect with the actual target. She hadn't caught him off guard, she was punching him on his terms, so he definitely was prepared for the first punch. He definitely wasn't a rookie, that much was certain. Lucky for him, she wasn't a rookie either.

Rather than attempt a block with her arm in an effort to protect her leg, the leg he was aiming for bent at the knee. Instead of hitting her at the knee, his foot instead connected with something a bit more solid, her thigh. Did it hurt? Yes, a hit was still a hit. Did it hurt as much as if he had managed to get her knee? Definitely not. Did she let any of the pain show upon her features? Like hell she'd do something like that.

"Ya make it sound like I'm wearin' panties..." she said with a bit of a grin before bending her arm in front of her, elbow out, then seeming to rush towards his stomach. Since he was using his legs, he might have been familiar with the crazy-a** style that Parthenope used. At least using her arm out in front for her next hit was also a good way to potentially block some sort of fancy flip kicks and junk.

Chaonis tried not to look too surprised by her quip, though his eyebrows certainly lifted in thought. It wasn't often that he was caught off guard by a naughty jab, as he usually assumed that was his role to play. He grinned at her, a swift moment of respect before the expression shifted back into entertained focus on the fight at hand.

The Senshi of Danger was not much for fancy flips or forethought. He was a brawler, through and through. Feet planted on the floor, he saw her lunging at him and focused his gaze. Standing his ground.

He moved one arm to meet her elbow with his own, an effort to throw her off course, using the swing to get his feet back into some kind of balance. He swung his fist at the same time, aiming higher, aiming for where he imagined her face was going to be considering her speed and angle, and his own hit to get her off course.

"Boxers more your style? Certainly not commando, in such a tight fitting costume. Unless you're a fan of camel toe."

He grinned, then shook his head like he had grossed himself out. He was busy with the fight, but still having fun. A good sign, at least as far as he was concerned: it meant he was fighting someone actually worth his time. Sure, she happened to be on the same side as him, but that didn't matter.

The block was a bit abrupt, but again, not unexpected. Disappointing because it meant she obviously had failed to meet her mark again, but not unexpected. Instead of trying to pull back, she leaned more into the hit. Somehow, she managed to slip her other arm up, blocking his other hit with her upper arm. Headshots could be hard to recover from, and considering how hard he was swinging at her, she could only figure it would cause her problems.

Rather than stay still, both of her arms then moved suddenly in an effort to wrap about the other arms into a tangled mess. "Boxers sound awesome... but I don't exactly get a choice in this uniform..." Despite the fact she wanted this guy out of the pet supply store and was trying to give him the boot, for some reason, a smile couldn't help but creep onto her face. He might have been a petty thief, but he was already getting her blood pumping. He knew how to fight, which made this more entertaining.

"So ya got a name, or should I jus' call ya douchebag?" It was a rarity for her to ask for such things, but he obviously already had left an impression.

"You wouldn't be the first to call me that," he grunted, eyebrows furrowed in concentration. he was having a lot of fun, though, even if it did force him to focus.

A fight was one of the few times when he was willing to do so.

She had him in a hold and he was trying to get himself free, not much enjoying being pinned as much as he did getting to swing, block, and kick. He wasn't too surprised by her strength, but his confidence had gotten the better of him. It wasn't the kind of reminder he liked to get, being shown that he was in some way weaker than someone else.

He would just have to figure out a way to compensate for it.

Trying to back her up into the wall to get her to release him, shoving backwards with what force he could muster from a quick change in his footing at least, he added, "Chaonis, Senshi of Danger. And who are you?"
PostPosted: Tue May 31, 2011 12:06 pm

There was something about the way that his arms that were locked with her own struggled that spoke up for him. He obviously had experience in fighting, but he didn't have the experience in being "trapped." It meant he wasn't usually the one to get beaten up. He was usually the winner of the fight.

Considering how they were locked, she could feel the force of each push he soon enough began shoving in her direction. For a moment, she was moving in the direction that he was trying to guide her. That was, until she caught wind of what he was doing. At that moment, she bent her knees and leaned forward slightly while digging her heels into the ground. It was just enough to stop her from going backwards, even though he shoved a few more times for good measure.

"Go by Sailor Iris..." She was grinning as she said this. However, he would have obviously noticed the lacking mention of what her powers were. It wasn't something she was proud of, plus there were plenty of hints upon her fuku, including on her tiara and brooch. "...and I'd be more surprised if I had been th'first t'call ya a douchebag."

With the final word out of her mouth, she began to push back against the opposing force. It was easier to move if the opponent wasn't pushing back, but now the two were locked into a sort of pushing-war.

Chaonis did not like losing, that much was true. Sure, he had lost his fair share, but he always blamed it on something stupid or out of the ordinary happening. Never his fault.

Except when it was. But even then, he didn't admit it.

He felt her stop his efforts to throw her back into a wall and cursed, planting his feet and driving back against her stubbornly. It wasn't going to work though, and he knew it. She was tough, but he at least got some information on her. She didn't tell him what she was the senshi of.

Maybe it was a sore spot. Chaonis liked those.

"Your fuku is so frilly and girly. Then you open your mouth and I have to wonder what I'm dealing with," he said conversationally as she pushed on him. He decided to suddenly stop offering her opposing force. He ducked down as quickly as he could, though his balance was immediately thrown, hoping to get her off balance and chuck her over his shoulders.

He just wanted to be free, so he could actually do some fighting.

Sore spot. It had been prodded ever so subtly by Chaonis.

And the effects were just as subtle. The mere mention of her fuku seemed to give her a bit more oomph to her energies in pushing against him. Her expression shifted from that seemingly amused smile to something a bit more annoyed. However, that shift in force being applied to her all but vanished, leaving her a bit more vulnerable. As calculated, she went over his shoulders. One arm broke away from the hold, but the other was still firmly latched to his own, causing a bit of pull as she crashed on the other side of his throw.

A crash followed by cursing, follow by a sharp yank along the arm that was still connected to the boy. Even when Iris was down, it didn't mean she was out.

Ah ha. So she hated her fuku and probably her sphere. He was getting a lot of subtle hints about that, of course. That seemed to be the theme of the day. Of course, nothing about it was subtle: he was going to step up his game now that he thought he knew she was so bitter about it.

He had expected her to let him go completely, but she remained firmly latched on to him like a leech, not letting him go as she crashed over him. It made him jerk forward against his will, though he planted his feet. That effort did nothing to stop him from stumbling after her as they awkwardly tumbled.

It didn't help that she was actually pulling him.

"Damn it, Prissy, stop pulling my arm!" He said, though he had already fallen on top of her and was struggling to either get up and away or just pin her down now that they had both fallen over. He didn't want her to get her arms back into the fight or sock him in the face. His focus was there, rather than her legs, which could probably be just as dangerous since they were now on the floor.

"You're going to get your pretty little skirts all dirty. Hey, if I shake you, will Skittles come out?"
