She was on her way to the park anyways for the day, it was bright and sunny with a cool breeze. A perfect day to go wandering the park. It was not super close to where Evers apartment was, but she knew her way to the park... sometimes getting lost but she would never admit that!
She wore a outfit that was recently bought from the thrift store for her. A simple white dress. A red ribbon tied around her hips before the dress fluffed out a little and ended right above her knees. The top was spaghetti straps, something to keep her from over heating in destiny cities warm summer days.
Her shoes did not match at all, a pair of sneakers that looked like they had paint splashed over them... and were miss matched.
It was a pretty uneventful mid day, minus something out of the corner of her eye that sparked her interest. A boy she remembered meeting once, someone she felt like she knew even if it was only brief. "Ladooonn!" She said a moment before running at him... intending to tackle him in greeting. "Come with me to to park? Do you have time? Its lonely i want a friend along!" Truly she was a bit bored...

Ladon needed a walk. The weather was beyond warm, and he just NEEDED out of the apartment. He loved Billy, but he just needed to take a few blocks out and feel normal for a moment before going back. Maybe pick up something along the way. Run some errand if he thought of one while he was walking. Having walked a few blocks, he found he still felt stir crazy and, seeing as it was nice out, continued going. He was sure Billy wouldn't worry. It was broad daylight out and he wasn't in his uniform, and any little thing that kept him sane could only keep Ladon from getting annoyed at little things later.
He managed to get all the way to the park and was turning around to head back when he was called out. Hearing his name from a girl put him on edge because he didn't know too many people and, considering he dropped out from school, worried it was someone from Meadowview. It wasn't, and he breathed out at seeing Zac's sister, Sabine. Perky, the redhead rushed over and asked for his company. Even called him a friend. They only met once, and he hadn't been that great to her.
"Ah...Well, I was just out for a walk..." He looked over at her and could tell he wasn't going to be leaving. "....so I guess I could stay out a bit." He took out his phone. He would sent a IM to his laptop which was open on the kitchen table. Since Billy didn't have a phone, it was a easy way to send him a message and he knew the teenager was there.
Sending the message, he looked over at Sabine. "Why isn't Zac with you?" He asked.

Looping a arm through his, she threw any caution she had in the wind. If Ladon was someone Zac trusted enough to visit, and see in civilian gear, then that was proof enough for her. Even if their first meeting had...tension in it, she was a naive little girl whom had a trusting heart. Glass half full.
"Zac is busy most days... school or 'work', or something." Her free hand she waved in the air, emphasizing a point. She really did love her brother but she needed to get air some times too. "Ever also has work too, or wanders himself too. Sometimes they do come with me, and i enjoy the company... but i also admit to wandering out alone myself." A shy smile, a devious look to her eyes.
Arm looped with his, she pulled the man leading the way towards the park. It was not that far away, but she was still enthusiastic. " I enjoy company but i still have not met a lot of... 'our' kind. I love Zac too but sometimes i think he treats me like a doll that could easily break..." Not that she blamed him. She has...after all met some pretty nasty Senshi before.

He felt guilty that he wasn't as busy. With the free time he had, he felt he could be doing something for the Negaverse, but he had been spending this time recovering and even then, felt useless and bored. Most of the Negaverse work had involved psychically going out somewhere, which mean that someone in his condition was pretty useless. Better now, he still had a hard time handling a weapon and wasn't supposed to be up for heavy combat. Not that he didn't run into a few senshi anyways on a few night patrols on his own. That wouldn't be happening as much now that Billy knew and suggested they head out together.
Frowning, he looked at his bandaged hand. "...a doll." He could understand being treated as if you were fragile. The first week upon his rescue had been a awkward one. Looking like hell, he spent most of the time sleeping, but when he was awake, he noticed how worried Billy had looked at him and how unsure he was to approach him at times. He still held him, but even then it wasn't as tight or casually as before.
He dropped his hand back to his side. "Yeah. I was getting a bit stir crazy in the apartment. I needed a walk, and it's been warm out. It's nice to see the sun and weather and be out in the open air." Instead of a closed cell where all of that was missing. "...I think it's good to take a break from people you see a lot too. I'm driving Billy crazy, I'm sure." He headed with her into the park, smiling up at the trees. They were already thick with green, vibrant leaves. It felt as if it had just been winter and now it was summer again. Time was flying by. Your adolescence is leaving you.

"Im sure you have not been driving him crazy." She had no idea who billy is but, once again she was looking on the bright side of things. "I do not know you very well Ladon but, from what i can tell, you have a good heart. Im sure Billy is not mad..." It was false words that really had no backing to them, something that Ladon would probably know, but she was trying to make him feel better.
"How have you been feeling anyways?" It was good to see him up and about, his injuries seemed to be looking better... but not all wounds were visible. That was something she had not learned yet. Scars not visible to the eye run deeper than visible ones...
"Do you like ice cream?" She asked, firing yet another question at him in rapid succession.

Despite Sabine never having met Billy, Ladon felt comforted that he wasn't being too terrible to him. It was easier to think that she knew what she was talking about then reminding himself that she had no idea who he was and if Ladon really was getting on Billy's nerves or not. Nope. He was going to take the nice words and run with them. The whole walk out was to improve his spirits anyways, and this was helping.
As Sabine continued on, not skipping a beat, she shot out her own questions and before Ladon could even slowly start answering the first one, she was already moving on. Not sure what to talk about yet, his mouth just hanged open before he continued. "I'm feeling okay. Healing up and everything." He wasn't sick or sleeping for days on end at least. He wasn't beauty pagent material, but he didn't look as if he crawled out from a grave either.
Just as easy as the first question was to answer, Ladon smiled. "I like icecream. Why?"

"We should get some! Maybe ice cream helps with healing... it always makes me feel better anyways!" It was a misconception on her part, because ice cream just made her happy. Happiness would lead to good health, right? At least she was the one to think so!
Tugging his arm a little lighter than before, it was clearly a show of concern for his well being as well. "I want you to feel better, Ladon. You need to smile more! You are too good of a person not to." She found herself grinning at him as she lead him towards the park, and her favorite ice cream place.
"What is your favorite flavor? They have a lot!"

He had no idea why, but he would have assumed that having a boyfriend would make him naturally calm around women. That didn't seem to the case, as he felt a rough pickup to his heart when she held his arm and they started to walk together to get some ice cream in the park. A year ago, he would be smiling like a damn fool for having a girl do this with him, but now he wasn't sure what he should feel. Girls were still rather pretty to him, and he still got nervous when they got close to him. He wondered if Billy would hate him if he knew this which was why he kept it to himself. He knew Zac would probably kill him if he felt any bit flustered to his sister. What sort of guy was he?!
Pushing all that aside, he lightly tapped Sabine's hand on his arm. "It's okay. My arm isn't broken. It was just my hand." She could grip his arm all she wanted, not that he wanted her to come closer ...but not that he wanted her away either. This was all confusing.
"I'm healing a lot." Which was why he didn't feel she should try to be so delicate with him like everyone else tended to be. Billy was only now starting to treat him normally in regards to approaching him and not worrying he was going to hurt him more.
As for smiling, well, Ladon wasn't much of a smiling. Nervous smiling was the most he ever did, and he offered one now at being told he was too good not to smile. Ice cream. It was such a normal thing to do. Nice even. He hadn't gone out for ice cream in a LONG time.
"Um..well, we usually only kept fat-free, vanilla ice cream at home when we had it, but..." He felt a tad guilty admitting this. "..I always liked mint chocolate chip...or even a shortcake ice cream I once had." So unhealthy but it had been too delicious to mater in the end. "What's your favorite?"

"I have tried the mint one before! They have it here, its rather good i agree... though what is this 'short cake'? Is it... a small cake or something?" The term was foreign to her, if she saw it...maybe she would remember it? This memory thing still plagued her even now.
Clashing his arm, she squeezed a little and leaned against the other man. Not noticing his hesitation to her touch, she did not seem to mind being close to him at all! "I like...a lot of them? The only one i tried once that i was not that fond of was...something called pistachio? It was green, and weird tasting." She did not even know what it was, so daringly she tried it once...
"Though i have a fondness for one called 'coffee'....though strawberry and banana are good too." She pulled him along, closer to the station. "They dont have that 'short cake' but...."
Turning around, she asked the man for a scoop of the mint chocolate chip for Ladon, and ordered herself a new flavor she had never tried.
"...Purple dinosaur. Interesting.....whats a dinosaur?"

It seemed that Sabine was stranger than Ladon first thought. She spoke of words like 'coffee' and 'dinosaurs' as if she never heard them a day in her life, and while he could understand no one knowing shortcake to some degree, the others were common place, so well known since kindergarten, that he found it hard to believe. It worried him a bit that she seemed to not know these simple things, and her happy, child-like attitude suddenly seemed to ...maybe make sense. Was something wrong with Sabine's head or was she just not let out all her life?
"Um....yeah. A short cake is a tiny cake. Like a pound cake. Usually you put fruit on it like strawberries and other things with whip cream. I should take you to a bakery I know that sells them. They've really good." Maybe show her a picture book on dinosaurs sometime too, though he really wondered if she was jerking his leg. Was he being too much of a boy to think that some girls didn't get what a dinosaur was?
"I usually don't like coffee-flavored things, but pistachio isn't so bad. I never heard of purple dinosaur. Sounds like it would taste like ...grape?" To which he looked at her, clinging to his arm. A passing couple smiled at them and he felt his face grow warm as he darted his gaze away from catching anyone's eye.
People probably think we're together.
"Di-Dinosaurs are creatures from long ago. Before humans. They used to roam the world before they all went away. Their were a lot of them in different shapes and sizes, and they all pretty much looked like weird lizards. Haven't you ever seen The Land Before Time?"
