This Role-play is a continuation of a tale I've been adding to for over a decade now.

Hello, my name is Saiden Infinity,

Narration

There is a planet hidden behind the moons. It's existence is hidden from many for there own protection. The majority of this planet is inhabited by half-mortals. Those that have an Immortal Father and a Mortal Mother. Or some combination that makes them not of a full blooded Immortal. Some embrace this unity of mortals and gods. While others find the act to be a disgusting act which breeds weakness.Things were not always as they are now. I can recall the beginning of the Stars being set into the skies. Before that, well it's not really my place to reveal the early acts of my creator and his first creations.

The Infinity Family

The Infinity family were the original protectors. There rule was that of kindness toward the people of this land. They served but didn't force there hand against anyone. There was no crime to worry about. Because everyone lived comfortably and equally. Unfortunately, this would not last.With the first coming of Armageddon. The need to protect the people was apon them. Castles had to be built. Rules had to be crafted from nothing. In order to keep the casualties of there people as small as they could. The people lived in fear of Armageddon for many years. The battle between him and the Infinity Family seemed to be a stalemate. Though, this was deceiving. The power of the foe was greater than any individual member of the Infinity Family. They had only survived all these years because of the crystal. A gift that my creator had given to them in the beginning. It held a small amount of his power. The power to destroy, edit and create. It was a spark of the divine. Slowly over the years The Infinity Family died out one by one. Leaving no one except for there only son that could use the crystal.

Era of King Infinity

His rule was far different than that of his fathers. King Infinity ruled with an iron fist. He maintained order by forcing order. His crystal allowed him to take away the free will of those that disobeyed him. He could create water out of thin air. Or annihilate a thief in the blink of an eye. His people prospered under his rule though some lived in fear of his wrath. The town he had built was the only established town on the planet. There was no choice to live elsewhere. Because the rest of the planet was completely wild. There were few that ventured out into the wilderness. An act that he allowed. As long as someone was living in a way that either contributed something to the town. Or they lived a life of neutrality not making things worse. They were free to do whatever they wanted. No one dared voice there disgust at him though. There were stories of a rather wicked nature. Women that opposed him forced to sleep with him and/or wait on him hand and foot. Others were forced into the role of a Blacksmith or something that would benefit the town. His powers were unlimited yet there were limits to what he could do. This made him not entirely invincible. Though, at this time. There was no one that could oppose him. Armageddon had not returned after wiping out his family along with several on the planet. Though, it was only a matter of time before he finally came back. King Infinity feared that he would not be able to stop him just as his parents had failed.

The Scientist

Toward the end of King Infinities rule. A Scientist that had been a friend to his family in there rule. Came to him requesting to analyze the crystal he held. This man was fascinated with knowledge. It had been his lives work to learn everything there was to know. King Infinity trusting him whole heartily. Loaned the object to him. Knowing full well that The Scientist could not use it. He also knew that if The Scientist attempted to steal the object. He could just call it to him from anywhere on the planet. The Scientist conducted many tests on the object. Every time he borrowed the object. He made sure it was returned to King Infinity. After many years of research. The Scientist learned learned exactly what this object was. He had cracked its Scientific code in a way. That not only revealed the secrets of the object. It also meant that he could duplicate the process with the correct ingredients. Though a combination of several odd elements. Since no single thing on the planet at that time could equal the power of the object. The Scientist managed to create a duplicate of the object. While it wasn't quite as strong as the original. Since King Infinities Crystal was made with a spark of the Divine. While The Scientists Crystal was made up of several Natural and Magical Elements. It was enough to accomplish his task. One day, The Scientist challenged King Infinity to a dual. At first, King Infinity thought it to just be a friendly sparing match. Though, his gaze changed as he saw the Crystal in The Scientists hand. King Infinity raised his hand demanding that The Scientist give him the forgery. The Scientist refused and a great battle ensued between the two of them. The power to Create, to Edit and Destroy. Was pitted against each other to determine which Crystal was greater. It resulted in a rip in the very fabric of Space and Time being torn by the two objects. The Scientists Crystal shattered. King Infinity looked at him with sadness in his eyes. He had known him for his entire life. So, instead of killing him. King Infinity banished The Scientist to the wilds outside of the town. Never to be allowed to return.

Dark Times Ahead

Through the rip in Space and Time. I entered this world from the prison I had been trapped in for countless years. I had only been able to watch everything that was going on. I had learned a great many things about this planet. As well as those that lived there. When I first showed up. I was dark and deformed. My skin was pitch black. My hands were make of claws. My eyes were barely visible. I was a creature from ones greatest Nightmares. King Infinity looked at me. He didn't see a monster. I just looked at him with a confused look on my face. From what I'd learned about the man. I expected him to attack. Instead, he wrapped his arms around me. Then, he lead me to his castle. Where I was raised as though I were his son.Over the years, I lived comfortably in the castle. I slowly started to take on the appearance of a Mortal over the years. A brown cloak was given to me. Since I showed a great gift for Magic. Though, there was no way King Infinity could have known exactly what I was. My kind were called The Admins. We were created originally to maintain order on the planet. Just as The Crystal had been given to The Infinity Family in the beginning to maintain order. Each one of The Admins had been given a great deal of our creators power. Though, it was deemed too dangerous to allow us to co-exist among lesser beings. Our power was so great. That it would have created a complete imbalance. Where no-one could oppose us and our will would be absolute. Much the same thing that happened with The Infinities son and The Crystal. One day, I slowly saw exactly who King Infinity was. One day, I challenged him to a dual. Much like The Scientist had done before. The ending to that battle was different. His Crystal had been shattered by my power. He wasn't forced to leave. Though, that would have been a just punishment. Instead, he endured something much worse. He saw his people slowly turn on him. As the towns folk discovered that he no longer had the power of The Crystal. He left town of his own accord. This, was a much better outcome then banishment.

Freedom

The towns people had mixed reactions about King Infinity loosing his power. One one hand, he had provided for them for many years. This meant they had to fend for themselves. Which was something The Townsfolk were already partly experienced in. Only because King Infinity had refused to give them everything that was asked. Unlike his father that had given them everything and more. Some of the Townsfolk left town to make a new life for themselves. There were already small settlements on various parts of the planet. Though, these were few and far between. The towns slowly built up taking up more and more land. The Gods of the Land showed themselves with some of the people. Though, they still lived in separate areas. Over the years, many of The Villagers had children with The Gods. Some of the people of today even can trace there ancestors back to that time. Though, very few can claim this.

A Beautiful Elemental

During this time of peace. I met a beautiful Elemental named Mariah. My life with her was very happy. We lived a quite life in a cottage. Away from the established towns. I would gather food and any supplies we needed. Marriah would sometimes help. Though, she was unable to interact with all physical matter on the planet since she was an Elemental. Her human disguise didn't change this. After a few years of living together. She gave birth to our only child Jade. At the time, this was the happiest moment I could remember. Though, I sometimes regret the act now. I've gained many enemies over the years. Those would use Jade to get back at me. Even worse, others could attempt to influence her into turning toward The Dark Arts. Jade had both of her parents natural ability for Magic. Unfortunately, she also inherited my power. While Mariahs Magic could only manipulate The Elements, use Hypnosis or create Illusions. My power had the power to destroy. I hoped Jade would follow the path of her mother.

Armageddons Second Coming


During Armageddons second coming. He was met with much more opposition than every before. Many came from all over the planet to combat him. Without The Crystal, no one could stand against him. The strongest of us could only escape with our lives. It was my turn to try my hand where others had failed. Mariah cried, pleading with me not to go. Her words had kept me from entering the battle up to this point. Though, I could not sit idol while others were killed. I had defeated King Infinity many years past. My power had been proven greater than his. While The Crystals power had been proven. Strong enough to keep Armageddon at bay. Armageddon at first did not attack. He just looked at me with a smile on his face. Though, he knew what I was there for. Armageddon spoke of our earlier days. Before what the Mortals and what they knew of Existence had even been created. After failing to persuade me to either join him or remain neutral. A battle ensued between the two of us. It resulted in a stalemate. Neither one able to kill the other. The destruction that had been caused to the planet had been great. The amount of lives claimed had been too much. I saw no end to this battle. The only way to end it was to annihilate the entire planet in one blast. Though, this would mean that there was no one left to fight for. My beloved Mariah and daughter Jade would be caught in the blast. I was confident that I could hold him off though. At least long enough for Armageddon to learn that a battle between the two of us was pointless. What happened next is an image that will forever be burned into my memory. The two of us continued to war with one another. No one dared come near the area. Because the energy being used was so fierce. They would have been vaporized or severely wounded. There was no way for anyone to enter the battle at this point. Which was the way I wanted it. I could control the battle so no one else would die from this monster. I saw Marriah out of the corner of my eye running toward me. I clenched my teeth readying another blast to throw at Armageddon. I would not even give him the option of harming her. She ran right in front of it shouting, "Stop". With tears in her eyes she fell. It was my power not Armageddon's that had killed her. After that, I didn't care what happened to the planet anymore. A strong rage filled me then I took on the form that I was originally created as. In a monstrous form I shouted, "Total Annihilation Attack". While holding my right hand out with my left clenched tightly around my wrist. The power from my entire body just exploded. The blast nearly claimed the entire planet. Most of the old gods were claimed in that blast as well. The charred remains of the planet showed up after the blast. As though the sun were rising on the ruins of the planet. There wasn't a single visible sign of life anywhere. No vegetation or living organism was standing. After the smoke cleared, to my horror I saw him. Armageddon had dropped to one knee. He was badly burnt yet still alive. The thought crossed through my head. If someone of this magnitude could not destroy him, what could? He retreated after that. Unable to continue the battle. I was unable to stop him or follow. He hid away in the lands that I had been created in. Only the highest gods were able to journey there. While I was of the correct blood-line. I did not know how to access my power on that level.

After the battle

I feared that something like this would happen in the future if I retained my power. So, I created a Mortal Soul which I could use to keep my power inside. This also acted as a buffer to not allow all of my power to be used even when awake. I had to speak the words, "Zero Access". If I wished to gain access to my power. I locked away my greatest gifts. So, even I could not have access to them. The power to bend every living thing on the planet to my will was tempting. Though, I knew I would end up like King Infinity. Abusing my power with no one able to stop me.Many survived by moving to a safe location. Though, there were a few that survived the blast. Those figures shaped the world greatly. This was the early forming of what would be known as The Defender. The Defenders are basically rogues with insane power. They wouldn't declare anyone as there ruler or leader. There was no organized team of Defenders. These people would show up during times of dire need. There was no consistency in there behavior either. Some were actually part of organized groups. Some were drifters that never declared any one place there home. There were even the ones that just acted like normal residents of whatever town they called Home.

Creation of The Watchers

Watcher was one of the first to be known by a large percentage of the planets population. He walked through dangerous terrain. Occasionally finding someone that would join him. He gained a gradual following. Though, the first Watchers were few. There came a time where Watchers experiences made him very wise. He wished to help those that needed it. While gathering as much knowledge as they could along the way. They would only intervene when the situation was dire. Thus allowing people to become less reliant on aid for minor tasks.

Founding of The Knights

A few of The Watchers enjoyed the old ways of doing things. Where they would patrol the planet in an organized way. Aiding all that they found along there way. These members along with a few seasoned warriors they found during recruitment. Became the leaders of The Knights. A noble order of protectors that would lay down there lives to help those in need. The former Watcher brought some intelligent ideals with them while most in The Knights just had brute force. They would keep tabs on every persons combat ability. Through regular training at there camps. Then, those people would be sent on missions that they could handle. This allowed them to be deployed to areas that had minimal threat levels for them.

The Counsel

Both The Knights and The Watchers both had there own set of advisers for missions. Though, there guidelines for when to intervene and when to stay away were very different. Veteran members of the order would be the ones to decide what was best for the order. The Knights had a strict rule system. Which penalized there soldiers if they disobeyed an order. The Watchers however, allowed every member of there order. To accept to dismiss any missions given to them. They found it best to allow each members own personal intuition have a say in the matter. Of where they were deployed.
