He'd only come out for the exercise, not to fight, but to try and keep his aching and healing injuries from stiffening up. If they did, he knew it would be even worse the next day, so he'd been pushing through it, and made a limping way through the city. No rooftops tonight, his ankle still hurt too much, and he was sure it would give out if he gave it the opportunity. Still, he was walking, and that was something... and some of the empty lots around the park were quiet enough that he thought they might be relatively safe, or at least he hadn't had any activity ping on his radar recently.
He might not have come, however, if he'd realized he wasn't the only one looking for a little quiet time in the area, and stopped and stiffened as he first caught the edge of a dark power signature, and then spotted a familiar agent of the Negaverse.
"Wolframite."
It had been long enough since he'd seen the smallish, fierce little fighter that he didn't even bother spouting one of his characteristic insults, just his 'proper' Negaverse name.

It was warmer out than it had been, and he told Billy he was going for a walk. They could have gone together, sure, but it was a way to get some distance without taking it out on the teenager. Distance, just for a little bit, so that they could both breath without going at each others' throats, not that Billy would have done that. No. He'd put up with Ladon hissing at him like a feral alley cat until he calmed down again. Walked were good. Necessary even.
He hadn't been looking for a senshi. Today, he lacked that particular bitterness that seemed to rise and fall in waves. He was in some slow current now going somewhere, nowhere.....he didn't know.
Yet he went in uniform. Why? Why bother when he felt the same lack of power as Ladon and as Wolframite? Maybe he just felt comfortable as Wolframite now or maybe wanted to prove that he was still around, in uniform, and not hiding. Maybe he should be hiding.
He was walking downtown between the cafes and closed stores, away from bars and nightclubs and the nightgoers who would notice him. It was quiet here, but the idea that it would be populated soon, the memory of busy people sitting about on patio chairs and benches made him feel somewhat secure. it was here that he felt the signature. Pausing, he waited, wondering if he should turn away or stay. Duty but paranoia swam about in his mind, and he wondered which one tasted less bitter.
Then he heard his name, and turned. He knew Regulus. They met twice before. One bad. One not so bad. What were his thoughts on the matter now? He wasn't one of THEM, but he was still a senshi.
"Regulus." He said, as if to just acknowledge he was there. The Captain didn't move, staying still as he stood in the dark. He wondered if the other senshi knew about had had transpired with the other senshi group.

He had in fact, and fairly recently, been filled in on the atrocities of the Blood Moon court, who frightened him a bit with their almost cult like mentality. Brands, for gods sake... and torture...
Bellatrix had killed someone on the battle field, but that was the goddamn battle field. She hadn't taken someone, tortured and then murdered them. It was in the name of curiosity about this, and perhaps a certain sympathetic horror (shouldn't they after all be trying to -save- the corrupt if they could? That had been a goal for -so long-.
"If it makes you feel any better I'm not stupid enough to let the Blood Moon coax me into their roster."
He wondered if they knew about the Brands. He wondered if it had occurred to the Blood Moon the way it had to him that even when powered down, those Brands would still be there. It was reckless and stupid to have done that, but then... the Blood Moon court seemed to be pretty damn reckless, free handed with other peoples lives.
"...And many of us think they're ******** crazy."

Wolframite stood, narrowing his eyes at the senshi. He was not a BMC member, but he was still on their side. Despite Reguluas' attempt to make him feel better, or whatever saying that served, he didn't care.
"Yet you do nothing about it. You don't join them, but you don't go against them. You know they are on your side. Ignoring the problem is still letting it happen, but that's the whole point of war. Won't be long till the rest of you start cutting up little girls and burning holes into people for sport."
He inspected his hand, still bandaged, and let it drop back to his side. "...what excuse do the senshi have now? We're all stained red." His mouth twitched in a unusual smile, curling his features unnaturally.

"Oh right sorry, forgot that I was supposed to save everyone's a** with one hand tied behind my back." Regulus fired back, a burst of heat in his voice. It did raise a good question though, why the hell -didn't- anyone do anything about it? He wasn't the only one who'd balked at their extreme methods, but that was all they'd done so far, that he knew of.
"And I suppose that excuses you flipping your s**t at a little girl who had nothing to do with those sick shits?" He added. "You've got a point, something's gotta change, but It's a bit hypocritical if you're going to do things that will give them reasons to justify themselves. I doubt they need your help."
Fanatics never needed help, but they'd take it where they could get it.
Ideas were bubbling like mad in his head, they had been since Hug Bell, but he pushed them to the back of his mind for now. They weren't ready yet, just the seeds of ideas and they might never come to fruition.
He looked as though he'd have liked to have added something more, but held off, biting it back and scowling at nothing in particular.

He clamped his teeth into a scowl at the accusation he would in any way help the Blood Moon Court. All he wanted to do was deliver the same pain, same humiliation, same sense of hopelessness that they had forced upon his friends. On him. It was personal. It was business. It was duty and it was something even more than that. With as much doubt as he had about many aspects of his life ever since those 2 weeks, he was sure of one thing. He wanted them all to pay for what they did.
"Don't you even start with me, Regulus. What sort of sick ******** decides to have a child in uniform to begin with? Don't go pretending you're not recruiting children at this point when I saw one, and don't even think that starting that early allows them to live. I'm not letting some child grow up to kill people on my team. I'm not an idiot, and I'm not about to play with any morals after what just happened. The bar was set, and I'm not about to just step down in this game. I am NOT going to let the Blood Moon Court do what they did again!"
The words were spat, growled out as he pressed one hand into a fist, the other restrained from doing so though the muscles in his arms twitched. Acid green eyes narrowed down at the senshi.

"Dingbat... -I- don't recruit anyone." Well this had gone no where fast. "And if I find out what ******** MORON got the idea that this was the Goddamn Children's Crusade I'm going to punch teeth clean out of their head. But if your goddamn problem is with the Blood Moon, stick to hitting the goddamn Blood Moon. Hitting outsiders is just going to send more scared newbie senshi running scared into their sicko arms, and thats not what you're going for, IS it?"
Fear made people irrational, and he couldn't imagine what the torture had done, but somehow... somehow it was imperative to make it clear to Wolframite that he was doing more harm than good right now.

Oh, he just wanted to shout with disbelief with what Simba-boy was saying here. "OH, so I'm just going to give all senshi a free pass just because they are new. I didn't get a free pass as a lieutenant and I sure as hell hope no one let you just walk off when you started off. I'm not about to just ignore your side who HELPS the Blood Moon Court, and I'm not going to let other senshi just join up when they feel like it. When the hell did any of us start makign exceptions? Age? Gender? Rank?" He flicked his fingers. Point 1, 2, 3. "ALL DIED! If the new ones don't kill yet, they will."
He breathed deep, voice regaining it's control. "The only difference now is your side just doesn't have any honor." Kidnapping. Using drugs. Starving. Torture. When it stopped being like the battles from before and went to such dirty tactics, that's when things grew really serious.

...Oh Right. This was why conversations with Wolframite never went well. The two of them mixed like Nitro and Glycerine, and 'hello' was the match.
"And I'm telling you you're gonna make it WORSE before someone can figure out how to take on that psycho-she-b***h! Cause I can't DO THIS ON MY FREAKING OWN."
They were getting too loud. He was getting too loud, but he was frustrated and angry, and felt as though he should have known about all this sooner. As though it was his responsibility and his alone to stop the tide of bloodshed.

It was silly to talk to a senshi at times. Scratch that. At any time. They all felt their organization was far better than the Negaverse, but Wolframite was starting to wonder. The Blood Moon Court had been filed into ranks, had planning on their side, and covered their bases. Now Wolframite was noticing that the other senshi were just failing in comparison to that sort of organization, making them look sloppy and unfocused. Maybe it was because the Blood Moon Court were almost, bite his tongue here, like the Negaverse. He noticed ranks and how quick subordinates were to execute their orders. They were dedicated and were loyal.
This senshi is speaking to you. Bleed him dry of information.
It was something Zink would probably whisper to him.
Clenching his teeth, he took a few deep breathes and counted. Then he unhinged his jaw, speaking in a far more level tone. "The Blood Moon Court is a completely different fraction in the senshi." It was a statement he was hoping would be confirmed. "....they are more organized then the rest of you. What standing do they have with the other senshi? If you all think they are crazy, doesn't any of your leaders take care of them? Have any of you no rank or figures of authority or are all of you just running around without any sort of leadership?" The idea was both promising in that the senshi were completely disorganized, but scary that their sheer number was what was giving them an edge.

Regulus growled in frustration, and it was fairly obvious that he was fighting the urge to answer with heavy levels of sarcasm.
"Which is what I've been saying since this conversation started, and what the freaking kid you tried to murder told you."
"The Blood Moon don't speak for the White Moon, they're a separate entity that have decided that they're better than White Moon. They don't beleive peace is possible, they don't beleive that the Negaverse can be anything but monsters... and they're willing to do anything to win. They aren't Senshi, they're just a sick goddamn cult."
He was itching to launch into a rage filled monologue, explain that it was the damn PARALLELS that had brought the city to it's knees when the coma's brought so many people down, that they'd considered this, and even killing thousands of innocents, 'acceptable' as long as things went in their favor. That was the Parellel court, that was Ares, the black bodiced b***h of the Blood Moon... but he didn't. That was more information than he needed to be giving away, but it felt important to draw the line.

Wolframite turned on his heels, moving over with the steady clack clack of his high-laced boots as he came ever closer to Regulus. He didn't summon his weapon, and he didn't expect to be attacked. Why? They were talking, and for some reason, Regulus was in the mood for talk. The Captain was only in the mood for finding out anything that would bring him closer to the BMC in order to kill them. They were on the very top of his list and Regulus wasn't even in the top ten.
"Just because you are on this White Moon Court of yours doesn't mean you get off the radar with the Negaverse. Like you said. Any one member of your court can cross over and become a member of the other. I'm not here to pick and choose who lives and dies. A senshi is a senshi.........you are all my enemy.......you all kill........" He let that fact sink in. "....but I want the Blood Moon Court more dead than the rest of you. At least the White Moon Court has had the pride and dignity to fight their battles as it should be. Face to face and without any tricks other than our own abilities. No using drugs and swarming in. The Blood Moon Court should be eliminated, and each one of them brings a high price on our side." His eye was aglow with the the poisonous glow of wanting one thing and one thing only. Death.
"You say that going after the senshi is going to scare them to the Blood Moon Court. You don't realize that not stopping them causes my side to be even more vindictive. The more they torture and kill and threaten, they raise the bar to our own violence. The White Moon Court tolerating them, not killing them, only brings harm to your court." He stood there, mere feet from the other. Up close, the damage of the BMC was still visible. The short, cropped hair on one side and the red, angry wounds healing from his ear down his neck to be hidden by the high collar of his uniform. His hand, bandaged. Even more was Wolframite's voice who was gritting his retrain to just lash out at anything in a fuku or wearing a circlet of any kind.
"If you're court doesn't do anything about it, bring them to me and I'LL solve the problem."
