so looks like a new rey rey in a few years like i've said in the past when WWE rey rey retires he should hand the mask to the new one

I'm honestly surprised that WWE's letting him use the name. Does Gonzalez actually have the legal rights to it?

Heard about him years ago, goes under the name El Hijo De Rey Misterio, unlike Jr. he is his legit son and not a nephew. Either way hope he has a good career and if he gets hired by WWE, then I think they'd market him as a different character due to the differences between the two

From my understanding, WWE doesn't have any copyrights on the "Rey Mysterio" name. It is actually owned by either Sr. or Rey Rey #2, which would explain why we can have a Rey Rey #3

Oscar Gutierrez (WWE Rey Mysterio) still owns the rights to Rey Mysterio. Rey Misterio (Rey Misterio Sr.) is owned by his uncle. At least that's how I understand it.
So; I take it El Hijo de Rey Misterio wasn't cutting it for Old Rey Rey that he had to replace his own son with a suitable successor? Or is this El Hijo de Rey Misterio being promoted?

I thought his last name was Gonzalez.
