Alright folks. Summer's charging in full-speed to tackle that sumbitch Spring and show it who's boss, which means now is the best time to seek out those who are ACTIVELY interested in ACTIVELY leading ACTIVE Study Groups. We can't stress how much we need volunteers who will continue to be ACTIVE. Please do not make a submission if your schedule makes you uncertain.
That said, let's lay down the submission rules and guidelines:
What We're Looking For:
-Someone with the time to move a plot at a consistent & regular pace (at least two times a week).
-Someone with the skills they are trying to teach (ie, exemplary players).
-Someone capable of providing useful tips & constructive criticism (rather than derisive & rude commentary).
-Preferably someone with multiple years of experience roleplaying and/or writing (examples will be requested).
-Preferably someone in the Guild ( but is not necessary if you fit all other requirements).
Limitations of the Study Groups Roleplays:
-Must abide by Gaia's Terms of Service.
-Must be approved by the crew before its starting date.
-Must have an environment clearly geared toward teaching in a respectful and encouraging manner.
-Must be ready at least two weeks in advance of the starting date (so we can put it up, people can find it, and they can submit characters).
-Anything else we may come up with in the future; we'll keep you updated.
So, are you interested? If so, PM an application to me by the title of "Study Groups Recruitment." It should have all of the following:
Application
-How Long You've Been Roleplaying:
--Links to examples of roleplaying.
-How Long You've Been Writing (if applicable):
--Examples of writing(if applicable).
-How Long You've Been In the Guild (if applicable):
-A paragraph explaining why you think you'd be a good and reliable Teacher.
-A short description of the first Study Group you'd like to run (if applicable). If you don't have any ideas, but still would like to teach, we can certainly collaborate.
This thread will be to handle any discussion on the matters above. Any suggestions, questions, or comments should be put here, and if it's rather important, I'll probably stick it in this post under a FAQ's section.
