You know, as nice as it is to see Light get his comeuppance, I'm going to have to go with L gathering everybody up to face down the Second Kira with walls and masks and all this awesome unity. Ide's brief reappearance is pretty cool, but face it, Tanakabara (the random reporter) completely steals the show.
The takedown of Higuchi is even more awesome in most of the respects I've just listed, and when you think about it, the entire course of the story hinges on the random faceless mooks being there at Higuchi's arrest... but it's naturally a false victory, and even if it weren't, the Yotsuba arc is just not that important in its nitty-gritty details the way the Second Kira is.
