*This RP is not part of the mini-event, Arajudia's Fate, but it does take place at the same time. This RP is for people with characters in Eyris that do not want to join the mini-event.
The several months after the siege of Eyris were filled with grief and mourning, but also with reconstruction. Not only were buildings ressurected, but the spirits of the people as well. For the first time in a while, people were presented with a feeling of normality. Many families were able to return to their homes outside of Eyris. However, many people's homes were still occupied by enemy troops. But even for those people, they all knew that at the present time, they were once again safe in Eyris.
Reconstruction had been a primary goal for Learania as their allies began to sweep the country and push back their enemies. Even in just a frew months, Learania had come a long way in regaining their strength. Carpenters and craftsmen from both Learania and Estarcia, and even many volunteers, worked together to not waste any time, in case the threat of another attack came. The closer construction came to completion, the more volunteer citizens were back to having no jobs. With businesses starting back up and many job positions needed, the king decided that it would be a good thing to have a job fair in the city. Those with businesses could set up a stand in the market square and not only garner business, but also hire those in need of a job. This would be good not only for the people, but also for the city. The army and Watch also needed new recruits, and they would hopefully get some to help make up for their losses.

xxxxx"Well maybe I'm weak... xxxxxxxand maybe I really am useless..." "But I will still fight on just the same!" xxxxx "Maybe one day I will no longer be invisible..."
"Uuum... e-excuse me! Would you like to... ...no, o-okay..."
The timid girl frowned, but cheered right back up as another person strolled through.
"H-hello! Are you interested in..."
The man snubbed his head and hurried off to another booth. Mihira sighed and lowered her head. She didn't blame people for not wanting to join. After how many people had already died, she would be surprised if even one person wanted to enlist. She didn't even really want to be running the booth. Mihira figured that she was chosen because she would just be in the way with everything else the other soldiers were doing. Well, that was the way things were and so she figured that she would just have to put on a smile and do her best. When another person approached the booth, she grinned sweetly and waved.
"Hello...!"

A weary and disheveled Cavalier walked down the road leading his equally tired horse. He led his horse up to the booth that Mihira was at and attempted to smile, the smile instead looked more like a grimace because he couldn't muster enough energy. "Hello, this may sound rather foolish, bu could you tell me where I am? Also could you tell me where I could find food lodging and a place to work?"

Not only was there Mihira at the recruitment stand, there was also Zeiss there. He was there to support Mihira, since they needed more soldiers in their ranks.
"Don't overdue anything Mihira. Someone will come to join us at some point. Just right now it seems people are focused on reconstruction, so we can be ready in case another attack comes at us."
However, that didn't really help out the confidence levels. More and more people seemed to be running from the recruitment table than joining. How would they get more people into the army at this rate? Things were just seeming helpless and at times it wrote on Mihira's face.
"Hey, don't lose hope. The other people are just busy with their own lives, and worry for their own sakes. Who wouldn't be after the war. And..." He stopped mid-sentence as a certain cavalier came up, asking about food, lodging, and a place to work, as well as where he was. Funny...you mention something like this, and then it will happen. Good luck Mihira. He just stood back, and watched to see what would happen.

Ice walks through the job fair and looks at all the stalls, her eyes pass over the military's stall and thinks to her self "well fighting better then nothing" as she strolls, over her hand on the sword at her waist.

Farina and Her Pegasus Buddy Murphy!
Farina had long since adjusted to Eyris after being completely confused upon her first arrival. She had located a very lost Murphy thanks to FEFG and the two buddies had been reunited. The pegasus knight (?) had made her living in the usual ways she did in Elibe, gambling included. She sure was spunky and a risk taker.
And so, now she was at this job fair, which seemed like a great idea to the king. There were sure to be opportunities here. Honestly, Farina liked her freelance mercenary status. It meant things were on her terms.
Murphy neighed softly as they passed a stall of carrots and apples. "Aww, Murphy, let me get one for ya." The blue haired Ilian bargained with the stall keeper and tossed a carrot at Murphy, who munched onto it with his teeth and then eyed the apple in Farina's hand happily.
As they walked along, Farina spotted the military recruiting booth. Although she wasn't involved in the military, she had been in their wars before. Well, duh. The military couldn't do good by themselves. That's why they needed mercenaries such as herself.
There were already two people at the booth ahead of her, some bald looking giant guy who looked completely lost - wait, was that Wallace? - and another girl with a sword. Farina wasn't familiar with the two behind the booth, Mihira and Zeiss. "Hey, so what's the big news?" she called out from behind Wallace and Ice Darkheart.

xxxxx"Well maybe I'm weak... xxxxxxxand maybe I really am useless..." "But I will still fight on just the same!" xxxxx "Maybe one day I will no longer be invisible..."
"Oh, you're... in Eyris, sir! The capital of Learania!" Mihira kindly replied. "You must not be from around here, I guess. If you're looking for a place to stay, there's an inn near the main entrance and there's bound to be all sorts of food in the market. Or, you can go somewhere where they serve you, like the Hostess Club. And, well, everyone seems to be hiring right now, so just look around and I'm sure you'll find a suitable job!" She smiled.
Mihira stared at him kindly for at least fifteen seconds, before she realized what she had just said... and not said. Here was this man coming up to the stand looking for work and she didn't even try to recruit him. Her face grew a little pale and her eyes widened. "WAIT!!!" she blurted at the top of her lungs. This however startled the horse, which reared and kicked a barrel, which rolled and knocked over some supplies, which tipped and toppled a ladder, which crashed right into the cabbage cart of a very unlucky guy. "My caabbaaageeees...!"
Mihira gasped and covered her mouth tightly as she watched the chaos. She then lowered her shaking hands under her shin, and looked over to the man. "I... am so sorry!" Her lips quivered. "I-!"

I ain't forgettin' anyone, and I also ain't regrettin' anything.x - [Leon] - x Saying that it was hard to take Captain rank because Ghis and Dan were both killed in action was an understatement. Giving his final salute to the two, when he did, was one of the hardest things he ever had to do. Taking up their mantle though was almost worse. Could he do as good as they did? Would he? He had his doubts at first...
But those doubts would get him nowhere, he realized, and it would get the Watch nowhere. He was Captain now, so all the rank's duties, even getting the Watch with some new recruits fell on his shoulders. Leon took the task with open arms, like it was a challenge, and not a problem. That's the kind of leader he had to be, that was the kind of man the fallen Watch officers would be proud of. He'd promised to make them proud, and as he stood tall, raising his voice like a true leader's, Captain Vatara knew he was doing just that. "Sign up to defend the city, lads and ladies!" He said out loud with pride. "Join the Eyris City Watch, and you'll have a warrior made outta ya!"
Hopefully, his shouts would draw attention. It would bring the new leader's spirits up higher, if he saw anyone willing to join his cause. While repairs were being made and things were getting back to normal, that meant there was still crime to be fought. Leon was willing and able to keep fighting it (even though such roughness was uncommon for an officer), and he would need all the help he could get. x - [Watch Captain] - x
We gotta carry on, ya know? It's what they woulda wanted!

((I guess i could've made this a little more clear than I did but this isn't Wallace. This is one of my OC's Regulus he's a cavalier as I stated in the post. Sorry about that. I was gonna have Wallace be in the mini-event. I could have him be in this as well now that I think about it. I'll post as Wallace now if you want to edit your posts. Apologies for the mix-up.))
Regulus listened to Mihira intently "Thank you for the information ma'am." He started leading the horse away. When Mihira shouted his horse reared back and pulled him off his feet and he landed on the ground in front of Mihira, out cold.
Wallace came down the street behind Vaida. He laughed and shouted at her, "Gwahahahaha! Hello Viper lady! Never imagined to see you here! How's that overgrown lizard of yours?"

Ice walks over to the chaos and shakes the Cavalier as he is laying on the ground, She slaps him an then stands up and walks over to the near by rain barrel and fills the bucket next to it with water an prepares to throw it on him.

A man with brown hair walked through Eyris with his back straight and a friendly grin for anyone he passed, his long black coat nearly brushing the ground as he walked. He made an interesting sight, his coat didn't seem to fall properly around his body, it seemed... stiff, the wind didn't stir it for one. And the amount of pockets that adorned the outside seemed endless and hinted at more on the inside.
His hands were shoved in a pair of these pockets now, balled up inside of them comfortably as he strolled the streets, boots striking the cobblestone softly. He had the look of a tourist about him as he took in the sights of the ruined city. "Tsk tsk, Great Eyris in all her glory. She's looking a little under the weather... perhaps I could help her get back on her feet." A quiet laugh slipped his lips with joy. Helping his fellow man! What could be a greater calling.
It was in this patriotic mood that he heard someone calling out and made a decision.
"Join the Eyris City Watch, and you'll have a warrior made outta ya!"
Now Jack approached the table with a friendly smile. "My my, a warrior? Me? Well sir I'm not certain I'd make a good warrior, but I would be very pleased if I were defending the city. I have a family here you see and after the attack... well thankfully we all are safe thanks to the brave men and woman of the Watch. I'd like to pay back the sacrifice that was made for me." His face took on a more somber look. "In any event, my name is Jack Mareev. Where do I sign?"

The nurses that had overseen her recovery would have thrown a fit, Amelia was sure, if they saw her at the Watch stand with Leon. Her side was still heavily bandaged, even if the wound itself had finally sealed over entirely the night before. The healers had been forced to work very slowly in order to prevent uneven closing or possible complications due to the size and depth of her injury, not even taking her blood loss into consideration. But there was work to be done around Eyris, and Amelia was sick and tired of laying uselessly in a bed while the world turned around her. And frankly, the last thing she wanted right now was to be left alone with only her thoughts and memories.
With a little bit of help from the stallholder next to her, Amelia had rigged up a little stool and sat there next to Leon. She continued to shuffle through a small stack of papers, but a little smile appeared briefly on her face. It was good that Leon was working the booth rather than anyone else right now. He was a good man.
She turned her green eyes briefly to the brunet man standing next to her, brushing her own blond hair off of her face. She was missing her armor from the waist down, but she had least donned her chestplate, shoulder guards, and gauntlets for the occasion. "Leon, are--"
"My my, a warrior? Me?"
Amelia looked to the new arrival. He was one of the first ones of the day, actually. Interesting. Amelia cleared her throat quietly and slid the clipboard (well, the thin, sanded piece of wood with a piece of paper attached to it at the top by a pair of tacks) to him, placing a graphite stick next to it for him to write with. "Please fill out the necessary information," she told him, voice quiet, yet firm.

Blaise, a myrmidon with fiery hair, wondered into town from the dessert with goggles on her head. She tried not to draw attention to her self, but tripped and found herself in front of the recruitment stand. "Ahh... how did I get here..." She rubbed the back of her head as looked up at the recruitment banner. "... Why do I keep finding my self in these situations..." Blaise sighed and stood up dusting her self off as she looked around.

Saifer Griimro Eyris had changed a lot from the last time he'd seen it, thought Saifer... but then again, that time had been during the siege. Now, it was a time of reconstruction, just as he'd imagined it would be. Not that it made much of a difference to him, though.
He was not from Eyris, and he also was not a Learanian. For that matter, he wasn't even from any known location on this world's map. Saifer was in fact from Elibe, somewhere not even known amongst the majority of the people he'd struck up casual conversations with over the past few months since he'd first arrived in this new realm. Sadly, his first experience had been inside an asylum amongst prisoners that he'd been forced to release...and of course the two psychotic demon children that had made him do so. Confused, terrified, and mentally exhausted, Saifer had ended up accompanying those two kids over to Eyris right before the siege began. Needless to say, this world hadn't exactly been all fun and games for the fifteen year old boy even at the get-go. Elibe hadn't been much of a picnic either, admittedly, what with him being an orphaned street boy whose only occupation was that of a lowly thief, but at least it had been familar.
Even so, despite everything that had happened to him, Saifer was a survivor. He'd holed up in several different safe zones during the siege and eventually escaped the city by some sheer miracle. That time had probably been the roughest for him - alone, hungry, and without any knowledge of what was happening around him, he had to navigate the area around Eyris and find some place of sanctuary all while cursing whatever god would put him into such a nightmare. Well, it seemed that that same god had intended for him to live a bit longer, because luckily enough he'd been able to find enough water sources and game to sustain him until he'd eventually found a small town that he could gather his bearings in. From then on, he'd survived as he had in Elibe - swiping coin and food to keep himself alive. This time, however, he was also collecting information as well as he could. Eventually, he'd gotten possession of a map of the known world and found where he was (and also where he'd been). That didn't help his living situation much, but at least he could settle into a routine again whilst knowing just where the hell he was.
Now, with the help of that same crumpled map and a compass, he'd wandered back into Eyris. It was close to where this whole ordeal in another world had began for the boy. He wondered if the asylum had remained untouched all this time and if he really had the courage to go back there and check. At the very least, the skeletons of the guards killed by both the demon twins (both of whom he hadn't seen since the siege began) and the escapees were probably still there if no one had come along to clean them up. Saifer may have lived on the streets this long just fine, but he was still just a kid and he knew it. As such, there was a considerable uneasiness that made him thus far steer away from that asylum...for the time being, anyway.
At the least, though, he could simply buy himself a few treats in this place with his stolen gold supply and then leave again. Still, Saifer felt like even though he was alone in this world with naught but a katana, light brand, and a smelly old cloak on his back, he might eventually find something to make that terrible empty feeling in his soul leave him one day. So, keeping in mind that this was a job fair of sorts, Saifer timidly stepped close to some of the stalls. His mindset was understandably that of a pessimist, so he really didn't think to find anyone that would hire him or whatever. Nonetheless...he looked, plain and simple.
[Please tell me if this post is wrong in any way. I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things...sorry...and if it's an okay post, anyone is welcome to go ahead and interact with him.]
