Sailor Chaonis, Super Senshi of Danger, was not feeling particularly super or dangerous tonight. In fact, he was being distinctly lazy, powered up only to feel for any energies moving toward or away from him, but certainly not patrolling.
He needed a break.
Unfortunately, he didn't think he could take breaks at home. Whenever he came home bruised or battered or with duct tape in his hair, Tony felt it absolutely important to bother him about it. Ask him questions about what happened, or how he had managed to screw up this time, or what he had left broken or stolen. And Nathan never felt inclined to answer them.
Mostly because he couldn't Tony didn't know his son was a senshi. Which, in itself, was obnoxious. But Chaonis didn't want to think about that tonight. Instead, he was doing something he hadn't done in ages, but found a very nice release.
He was camped on top of a building, not too tall, with a rim. He managed to find a crook to nestle the barrel of his paintball gun, which he had brought with him in a backpack, and was now shooting anything that moved down in the quiet streets below him. He'd fire off a shot, then duck and listen, peeking out to see the results. Usually he hit cars as they were driving by, or sometimes late folks out for a stroll.
Seeing their frustration and confusion was a nice way to relieve stress.

Sailor Hug-bell's habit of going out at night hadn't changed much. Her cell phone was closer to her, and she was more jumpy. Paying attention to any possible 'ripple in the force' to suggest another senshi or even a negaverse officer was around.
She was carrying Barnaby in the crook of her arm still, now though it was more for comfort than he'd started off being when she first became a senshi. The fight with Wolframite was still fresh in the chibi's mind. Something, though caught her attention, noticing occasional people seemingly mad for some reason and having bright stains on their shirts or cars. Well it didn't take much to make the child curious. She did her best to stay in the shadows when she saw an adult pass by, waiting for a bit before coming back out and going on her way.
She paused when she noticed an energy signature, was she getting close to the source of the problem?

The Senshi of Danger sensed another senshi coming toward him, looking around from his vantage point until he spotted the smaller senshi down on the floor below. He recognized her, though his memory wasn't the best and he wouldn't have noticed any differences.
He met a lot of people in passing, and hassled them before moving on to the next target. He did remember their first meeting, just not the most specific details.
He trained his paintball gun at her, considering his shot for a moment.
Was it really okay to shoot a chibi senshi with paint? Yes, as he had done it before, but that one had been a boy. Was there really a difference, in the world of senshi? No, not as far as he was concerned. Girls had to be just as tough as boys.
Paint away, he thought, as he pulled the trigger and sent a pellet sailing her way.

Hugbell looked up at a certain spot where she thought the energy was coming from. Lofting a brow, she blinked when she noticed a ball flying towards her, "Whu?" She held up Barnaby just in time to keep from getting nailed in the face. What was it with everyone trying to hit her in the face.
She looked up at the spot and then moved around to the side of the building climbing the stairs as fast as she could. Jumping up sets of them, Barnaby held by one paw. Her butter yellow eyes were narrowed, was this a bully senshi?
She slide to a stop when she got to the top of the stairs. "You with the paint balls." She said pointed a finger at the area she thought it came from. "You hit Barnaby, you should apologize."

"You should know better by now," Chaonis said, getting to his feet. He fixed her with a very cocky look, hands on his hips as he sized her up. He definitely remembered her, but last time had been a little less antagonistic on his side. At least he had actually helped her with that youma, right?
He imagined she would recognize him, though he didn't care one way or the other. If she didn't, he would just be some enigmatic jerk.
"I don't apologize, and definitely not to a bear. Anyway, that color looks good on him. But you look different. What have you been up to? Last time I saw you, I remember stepping on a porcupine."
His foot almost throbbed at the memory, though the injury really hadn't been that bad. And he had cleats on his shoes, same as now.

Super Hug-Bell paused and tilted her head. "Ohhh I remember you." She relaxed and shook her head, "You could've really hurt someone though."
She looked at Barnaby with the yellow florescent paint on him, "I suppose it does." She walked over closer to the older senshi, "Getting picked on, running away, letting the adults handle things..." She paused before whispering, "Almost got killed by a Negaverse agent that said there were bully senshi, and ********* changed my pen." She found a place to sit down that looked relatively comfortable. The child's hand held a noticeable scar from where the knife had cut her.
"So... I'm trying to find those bullies and make them apologize to him." It was naive and possibly the silliest thing many had ever heard of. However, Chaonis was one of the first ones to find out her new plan.
"What about you?"

Choanis frowned, looking dispassionate. He didn't know what she meant by bully senshi, and he shook his head with a scoff.
"You do know our job is to mess with those Negaverse agents, right? They hurt and kill people who can't defend themselves, and they fight us every chance they get. If someone is picking on them, then they deserve it."
He wasn't great with kids, but never claimed to be, so didn't think he was letting anyone down by being rude and gruff. He shook his head again, lifting his hands in an over emphasized shrug.
"Looks like you got a power up, too, then. With the changed pen. I've got the same. Hey, so does that mean you're actually useful in a fight now, or what? What can you do?" He looked around, but didn't see anything they could fight. Frowning, he motioned for her to follow him away from the edge of the roof, more to the center.
"Show me. Your attack, or your style, or whatever. If you're almost getting killed, then you need to do something to keep that from happening. You're an easy target, by sight, so it's not surprising you're getting picked on. Too chicken to fight for yourself still?"
He watched her, hands on his hips, eyes keen. Ah, chibi senshi. He remembered his run in with Ixion, which had started in a similar light.

She paused, "If they try to fight us." She added, "Or if they're hurting someone else. But this one had his face burnt, had an eye patch, and something was wrong with his hand." Hug-Bell protested, "We're not suppose to act like them if we don't have to."
Her hands crossed over her chest. Looking at him, she nodded, "Yup, Barnaby did too." She held him up, "He has a little heart on his bow now."
She paused, "He still grows big." She replied softly looking at the bear and following Choanis when he walked to the center of the roof. "I try... I'm just not that good at it." She replied, "I've been watching power rangers though!"
She mimicked one of their moves, almost tripping over some of the gravel, "Opps..." She managed to steady herself smiling looking at Choanis. "I helped save Knightside when a couple Negas crashed it."

Chaonis was not inclined to look at Barnaby's new heart, arching his eyebrow instead.
He grinned. At least the bear was useful, and she had been doing some research. Maybe? Hell, when he was a kid and had the TV in his command, Power Rangers was a favorite. It made him leap around the house and forget all his troubles, and instilled in him a belief in strength and an appreciation for fighting. The finer morals of the show, however, had apparently been lost to him.
How was he supposed to focus on messages and kid friendly learning opportunities when there were giant, plastic-y monsters to fight?
Tilting his head as she tripped herself a bit, he laughed and shook his head.
"Alright, Knightside savior. Let's see your attack. Think you can take me?" He moved to her quickly, giving her a shove on the shoulder in the hopes of instigating some will to fight with him. he would take her bear, but he imagined she needed it to fight with. "Spar with me! Or it'll be a pretty one sided fight."

Hug-bell had never fought anyone on her on side before. She looked at Chaonis as he laughed, embarrassed she tripped herself up. However, it had to be progress, anything was better than nothing.
She pause when she was told to Spar. "O-okay." She squeaked when he shoved her shoulder, however she tried to bite back a that's not nice. He was trying to help her right? Retorting wouldn't be of any use. She pondered before tossing Barnaby at his head, distractions seemed to work. When he was fully distracted by the bear she tried to tackle him, granted hight difference and age difference probably wouldn't make it much of a tackle. In her defense though it had sorta, kinda, worked with the Nega-agent, but he was on his knees...

Chaonis watched her. He wasn't too tense, of course: he wasn't expecting much. Sure, he might be underestimating her, but he doubted it.She was just a little kid, and she never fought if she could have other people do it.
What could he possibly be underestimating?
But maybe that was the point. He could help her, make her stronger. Or at least give her some tips that she won't soon forget. He didn't like the idea of senshi, chibi or otherwise, running around not knowing how to defend themselves. He had never seen a Nega not know how to fight, even if some were better than others.
He was distracted as she tossed the bear at his head.
"Hey!"
When she tried to tackle him he, despite himself, let out a laugh and caught her, making a theatrical effort of grappling with her. "Distraction is good, but brute force my not be your forte, kid!" he laughed, teasing as he pushed her back from him again. He watched her with keen, aware eyes.
"And now I have your bear." He picked it up and held it out to her, but much too high for her to be able to reach. Classic play ground bully, but not quite Nega.

She squeaked when she was caught. "It worked for the negaverse agent in the school." She said, softly watching him as he held up Barnaby over her head.
She scratches the back of her head, frowning as she jumped trying to get Barnaby back. "Well, what else could I do?" She asked finally giving up hoping he'd let his guard down. She was thinking, and glanced down at his foot; wondering if it'd bring him down her level.
She wasn't going to call him a bully, though she thought of Billy the Bully in her class when he held Barnaby up that high.

Chaonis watched her, not giving her the doll just yet. He shook his head and balanced his weight on one leg so he could lift the other and plant a soft but forceful kick on Hug-bell's stomach.
His intention was to knock her over. Maybe hurt her a little. Negas wouldn't be so kind as to hold back, right. He laughed and shook his head, like he was disappointed she had to ask. Tossing the bear up and catching it as it came down, he watched her. He kept tossing it, thoughtfully, eyes trained on her rather than the bear.
"I'd do anything I had to, if I were your size. Think about it. A big bad guy like me? You have to find something to take me down and either get away if you can't beat me, or figure out a way to make me leave. So what do you think? You know I'm tall. You know I'm strong. And you know I have your bear. If you can't beat me with your fists or your magic, you should probably use your head."
He grinned at her, gripping Barnaby by the head.
"You know, if you have anything in there to use."

Hug-bell squeaked as the wind was knocked out of her and she ended up sitting on the ground. She was looking at him before frowning. It took a bit to get her wind back but she finally did and stood up.
Hug-Bell let him finish before marching over to him then trying to force her tiny heel on his foot as hard as she could. Then she called out, "Super Comfy Catches!" He might've had Barnaby by the head but he probably wouldn't long when the bear grew to twice the size he use to. She watch him with determined yellow eyes.

Chaonis, a bully senshi in the classic sense of the word, watched her with a grin as she fell to the floor. He was waiting for her to get up, but real bad guys wouldn't do that.
Maybe in the next 'lesson' he'd show her the importance of timing.
When she stomped his foot he let out a yelp of surprise, though he had been watching her come at him. Still, he hadn't actually been expecting her to do anything. He was then surprised as the bear got bigger, dropping it as he stumbled backwards.
He laughed, shaking his head.
"Well, that worked. You gotta do what you have to, right? You get your bear back, you get me with an aching foot, but that's not enough to win or to escape. Better think fast, because you won't get a break in a real fight, especially if you have no one else there to bail you out."
He made a mean face, mostly mock, and charged at her with his hands bent like claws.
