Suddenly taking a patrol around the Destiny City Park lake wasn't such a great idea after all. It had been a peaceful dusk, the air thick with the smell of honey suckle and pollen that tickled the nostrils of evening passerby's. It was enough to intoxicate Alcyone with a mild spring fever; she was no longer worried about immanent danger, and instead had slowed her journey home by walking the perimeter of the lake by the boathouse. The sun had set moments ago and it was prime time for the chirps of tree frogs to ring inside her ears.
It was a magical experience only felt by those far enough away from the equator to receive such a well-mannered season, and she would have continued to enjoy it had it not been for what was to come. It started with the frogs silencing as one, and before she could snap out of her springtime-daze, it emerged from the center of the lake. It was as though the lockness monster had given birth to a crocodile-like infant and it had grown for years without any detection in the park, just to make its debute on that night, in true horror movie fashion.
She could feel her jaw slacken as she gaped at the youma, who now towered over her by at least 6 feet. It hissed menacingly and whipped its long body towards Alcyone, sending waves of water crashing to the shore. It swam swiftly, though the senshi of storms was reacting just as quick.
"STRIKE OF TEMPEST'S THUNDER!" She yelled, soon followed by unfurling clouds aimed directly above the charging youma. Wind and rain pelleted against its armored hide, and while they might have slowed it down, it was easy to see that the raining elements-- however severe --weren't going to stop it. The senshi of storms took a calming breath before concentrating her energy on the clouds above. She could feel the hair on the back of her neck and her arms rise from building static just as a lightning bolt crackled down and struck the croco-serpent dead on. The youma shrieked and thrashed in pain, and just as suddenly as it had surfaced, it sunk. Only ripples from her diminishing thunderstorm broke the surface of the lake.
Alcyone couldn't hide her surprise. "That was it?" She held an air of skepticism, but as the storm cleared away to reveal a star-lit sky it stole her doubt along with it. Perhaps she was getting better, becoming stronger. It wasn't as though she hadn't spent long nights training her power; maybe now it was finally beginning to sho--
And that was when the youma proved that not only could it swim rapidly, but it could stealthily climb onto the shore and chase after her in a brisk run. It was limping a bit from the shock it received earlier, but that didn't matter. It was on the ground, it had legs, and Alcyone had to wait before she could reuse her ability again. She did the only thing she could think of: she bolted.
"MIERDA!" She cursed as she sprinted away from the youma. This was no time to play hero, and she knew it. Desperately, she summoned her senshi phone and pressed one of her speed-dial buttons. She had more important things to worry about than check on who she was calling for help, such as weaving between trees as she ran further into the forest of the park. When a voice finally picked up on the other line, she begged. "PLEASE. Please come to the park, just follow the fallen tree trunks and the sound of me narrowly avoiding being eaten!!"

He was on his third beer of the night, or maybe it was his fourth, Damian wasn't quite sure, he wasn't big on keeping track. He was laying in bed, a notebook on his lap attempting to write a song. It wasn't going too well, but then drunk wasn't the best state to write songs in. He had finally come up with a verse when he felt his senshi phone ringing with a sigh he didn't even bother getting out of bed, instead just reaching over and picking his henshin pen up off the end table. Lifting it up he called out his henshin and seconds later Super Sailor Orion was in bed.
Summoning his phone he answered it, sounding none too enthusiastic. "Yeah?" He perked up a bit when he realized it was Alcyone on the other line and she didn't sound happy. In fact she sounded a little distressed, or maybe more than a little. "Alright, alright, I'm coming." Sliding his phone shut he drug himself out of bed with a groan. Opening the window he climbed out of, falling flat on his face when his foot caught on the sill. "Owwww," Maybe he shouldn't of had that last drink.
He pushed himself up onto his hands and knees, a few scrapes on his face his only injuries. It was going to be a long night. Doing his best to keep his balance he took off, not trusting himself to cross via rooftop. All he needed was too fall to his death, or broken limbs.
It didn't take him long to reach the park, and with a little looking he found the broken tree trunks and heard a scream. "s**t," He picked up the pace, running towards the sound, falling to his knees once when he tripped over a rock. Brushing off torn tights he picked himself up and kept going.
When he finally caught up to Alcyone he lifted a hand waving. "Hey, Alcy!" When she called for help she probably wasn't expecting a drunk Orion, really any of their teammates would be better than a drunk Orion. Silver eyes widened, taking up most of his face as he stared at the youma chasing her. "Holy ********> Without thinking he called out his attack, pointing wildly. "Meteor Rain!" Unfortunately for Alcyone his finger was pointed at her. He realized this a second too late, his alcohol hazed brain unable to keep up with his mouth. "Fuuuuuck."
