School of Hard Knocks
Super Sailor Chaonis has started to take a liking to meeting new or young senshi and 'helping' them out by throwing them into fights with youma or Nega, or fighting them himself. He takes pride in his ability to be a jerk, and to rile people up.
So he's looking to make this his thing.
He has never had a purpose before, as far as he's willing to admit. At the start of his senshi career, he was only in it for himself, and that, at least, remained mostly consistent for him. Nate's favorite past times include vandalism, bullying and theft. Any kind of trouble making. He found it translated well into senshi-dom. He did learn that civilians, like his father, were often in need of saving. He found he was good at that, though his powers as the Senshi of Danger often led to collateral damage. He worked with that instead of fought against it or dwell on it being a bad thing. His bad habits remained. and he often used the damage he created as excuses to steal things for himself or just make life hard on others.
Things are slightly changing for him.
First, he has friends now, and finds himself making more. He almost has his team, though it's more a loose connection of people he trusts or has fun with.
Second, he has been running into more and more new senshi, or chibi senshi, or those with defensive powers rather than attack oriented ones. He finds himself jumping into battle with them, as stated above, helping them by round about and incredibly irritating methods.
I would like for him to explore this further.
What I am looking for:
- Senshi for his actual team.
He has a few people he is in contact with (Asclepius, Foramen, Gomeisa) but as far as I know, no solid team members. I would love for him to gain a team (or for those who have already interacted with him to let me know if they're interested!), consisting of people he's 'helped' or 'owe' him something from one of his run ins. People who will be his true friends, and stick with him, despite his penchant for being incredibly annoying. He is a strong ally, and is learning more about duty, loyalty, and, despite himself, friendship. His habits of using his powers for his own benefit are unlikely to change, however, but his team certainly don't have to agree with him on that front. But it'd certainly be fun.
My original idea for his team was to have folks who don't mind having fun, causing damage, and taking whatever rewards they want, so long as they're doing their job: fighting Negas and Youma, and keeping civilians (mostly) out of harm's way. But they don't call him Danger for nothing.
Senshi for him to train!
As he's been doing with a few senshi and chibi senshi recently, I would love for him to continue this trend of using brawls and straight forward, feet first into the deep end, methods of training his fellows. This, of course, can lead to some very dangerous situations, and a whole lot of trouble.
If anyone wants him to meet up with their newbie senshi, that would be awesome. They don't have to stick with him, or ever talk to him again, but a lesson hard learned might definitely be fun!
I love playing him against Chibi senshi, as well, as he thinks they need to learn even faster than the normal newly awakened. So if anyone would like him to mentor their younger generation of senshi, he would definitely be up for it in a 'jerk big brother' kind of way!
He would also be very game to use these same methods of 'helping' with established senshi. Anyone who he thinks looks weaker than him, or who has defense oriented powers. Anyone with hang ups about fighting, or confidence issue. Anything like that, and he'd be all over it. And he doesn't have to be right! I would love for him to try his tactics on some folks and embarrass himself or get his own lesson by surprise. =]
I don't mind if they are members of other teams, or factions, or whatever!
Nega folks to fight!
I definitely don't mind playing Youma in RPs, and Painite is always available when another Nega isn't, but if I had a list of folks who would be interested in battles with Chaonis and whoever he's with at the time, that would be awesome. And there can definitely be losses in here: just because he thinks he knows what he's doing doesn't mean he can always defeat his opponent.
Civilians to save.
As above, I don't mind using Tony for those in trouble, but I think it would be fun to have a list of folks who might want to be the damsel in distress? Plots can include the usual 'senshi come, save the day' or something like 'they cause more trouble than the youma' or other everything going out of control and bad things happen plots! Chaonis is the Senshi of Danger, after all, and fighting with him, against him, or being saved by him always has that element of unpredictable happenings to it.
I am very, very, very open to any and all plot ideas for him, as well! If you think he might fit in to something, hit me up.
