With a slender finger, Alba flicked a large and silver coin across the top of her desk. She watched it spin on the grainy wooden surface before it picked a messy stack of books to ricochet against. Losing momentum, it wobbled as though uncertain of its newly appointed path. Despite not having anymore obstacles to weave through, the spinning slowed until the coin flattened itself out in a clammer and revealed the wave-less ship once more. Had Alba not found the coin a few inches buried in the sands of a planet far, far away, she would have thought the coin to be tricked.

It wasn't easy to confess she was wrong. As much as she'd never admit to it, Alba was a prideful girl, a trait passively relinquished from her father. She couldn't remember the last time she had spoken with Carter, though the subject matter was still fresh in her memory: he'd been troubled from the recent movements that rose within the senshi, herself included. He was looking for an answer that she could not provide for him, no matter how badly she wanted to, and in the end opted to change the subject to something lighter. Even then, she was still dubious.

Carter had the ability to become so mystified, so lost within his dreams that it was difficult for her to gage whether he was serious or not. It was one thing to believe that they as a group could one day fly like trapeze acrobats with enough training, and it was another to say that a flag had been found on another planet. As a day-dreamer herself, Alba almost envied that kind of young hope. What was worse, though, was how little she knew of what had plagued the youngest Pleiad, and the changes it was already implementing.

"Esto's estupido," She muttered before summoning her phone from subspace; she needed to get over herself. It rang a few times before a familiar voice picked up. "Carter? It's me, Alba...Hey, I was wondering if you had a minute to meet me in the usual place?"

The weekends were the best. School didn't dominate most of his day, and homework? Non-existent, thanks mostly in part to Damian hounding him about it until he got it done. All in all, it was a huge improvement from what he used to do. Before moving in, Carter would often forget about his homework until the last minute, often having to rush and quickly finish it before school or during class right before turn-in. Needless to say, his grades were slowly on the rise.

Grades and papers were the last things on Carter's mind, however. He was content to forget about everything: schoolwork, senshiwork, everything and just let his mind wander as he skateboarded down the streets of Destiny City. He wasn't going anywhere specific or on the hunt for youma. Now was his time to think, to be alone and hello, is someone calling?

Carter reached into his hoodie and summoned his phone, pulling it out to look as if he pulled it out of his pocket. It was just an ordinary device, thank you, not suspicious or senshi in any way or form. "Hello? Hey. Yeah, I'm free. I'll meet you there."

The bluenette hung up, wondering if he should have asked Alba what was wrong. His teammates very rarely called him; it was usually the other way around. Was she okay? She didn't sound like she was panicking. He dismissed his phone and turned, skateboarding towards their usual place.

"See you there!" Alba parted before flipping the phone closed and letting it disappear back into subspace. It's a shame that a regular phone couldn't disappear and reappear at her beckon; it would make wearing outfits that lacked pockets much easier if she didn't have to worry about digging into her tote for a call (or worse, answering the senshi phone as it appeared on its own for an answer). At least she didn't have to bother today: pocketed skirts were becoming all the rage in Destiny City, Alba included. She grabbed her normal cell-phone and the large coin from the top of her desk, placed them in her pockets so as not to lose them, and swung her usual tote over her shoulder.

She had begun the process and could not turn back now. Clutching the keys to her suite, she hurried down the steps of the dorm's entrance and pushed on the glass doors to step on the terrance outside. The sun beamed brightly at her and she had to squint her eyes for a moment to adjust, though it was welcomed. Winter had gone for much too long and it was a relief to feel a rising warmth on her arms from the sunlight alone.

Alba had often felt lucky that the Sovereign Heights dormitory and university were at the central of Destiny City. This allowed her easy walking distance to the library, a few of her favorite coffee shops nestled within outdoor shopping districts, and most enjoyably, the park. If she had a stressful day and needed some time to herself, a quick walk around the park for some fresh air was usually the best remedy. That is, if she didn't encounter a youma or a negaverser on the way.

Today was different. Her journey to the boathouse was uneventful at best, though knots were tied in her abdomen. She had wronged Carter by not believing in him, and it was time to apologize accordingly. As she neared the rickety wooden cabin, her heart began a quicker beating pace. Alba quietly rapped on the door before pushing it back; even though she knew he was expecting her (or perhaps he wasn't even there at all), it was still a courtesy thing to knock. This way, no matter who was there, they knew it was at least her venturing into the abandoned building and not a curious wanderer.

"Hello?" She called out. Knowing Carter, he might have already beaten her there with his trusty skateboard.

Alba was correct; Carter was waiting for her when she arrived. "Hey," he greeted, turning to wave to her. "We really need to consider changing the lock on that door and getting some sort of security in here. Someone decided to slice up the back of the couch with their initials. Not that we even see the back mind you, but..." He shrugged.

At least the flag was still here. It helped to have hung it high up in the cabin, out of reach from any wandering citizen. It was the first thing he checked whenever he visited the cabin. Hell, Carter would even go out of his way to swing by the cabin to make sure it was all right. To him, the flag was precious. Perhaps hanging it up in a public place wasn't the brightest of ideas, however it wasn't just his. It belonged to the Pleaides. In his reasoning it was important to all of them, even if none of them knew just exactly what it represented.

"Anyway, what's up Alba?" He asked, looking at her curiously. "How've you been? We haven't really hung out much. We should try to get the Pleiades together again soon."
