((This RP is open to all members of the above packs. In the interest of speed, posting order is free for all.))
A panicked deer dashed through the trees, herded by a female who knew very well where she wanted to lead her prey. Just up ahead there was a clearing... but beyond that, a cliff jutted sharply upwards, and it was there that she intended to trap the deer. Assuming that the daft thing didn't break its fool neck in its haste to be free of her. It was bleeding already-- not it, she-- from wounds that Ember had inflicted, but it was very hard for a lone female to take down such prey in one stroke.
Sometimes she managed. Other times, such as this time, she did not. And she was not unwounded herself. A single kick had glanced her shoulder, and while it was not a grave injury, it irritated her that the deer had landed the blow. But such was typical when there was only one wolf to hunt. She was a tough b***h, and would not allow such a thing to slow her down.
Whether she ate tonight depended entirely upon the result of this hunt. ... There. The deer leaped over a tree trunk, and burst out of the cover of trees. She harried the doe, snarling and snapping at her heels. Just a little further, and the doe's fate would be sealed. But Ember was not alone. Not anymore. She knew, of course, that she had entered a pack's lands. She did not always choose this route, but it was sometimes convenient.
Let them worry about whether they would eat, whoever they were. She was not stealing, not truly. The deer was her prey, and the stranger pack would have to find its own meal. If indeed they were within range to smell her at all. With a burst of speed, she closed with the deer again, and drove her right up against the cliff.

Naima shook her head in frustration, "I get that Quinlan, I just don't understand why you are okay with it." She sighed. The bright female's strides were consistent with the Quinlan's, who trotted along beside her. The two wolves were making their rounds on borders of IK. Naima enjoyed having time alone with her good friend on patrols, but today he seemed rather irritated with her bringing up such touchy a touchy subjects. The female stopped in her place and watched Quinlan, worry flooding over her. "Quinlan, you can't just ignore me." She said her ears flat against her head. Quinlan stopped and turned to Naima. "I'm not ignoring you Naima." He said coldly. This was not like him at all Naima thought. The two wolves stood facing each other, tension obviously clinging to the air around them. "Then what do you call it Quinlan? What exactly do you call it when you don't answer your concerned best friend?" She asked getting frustrated with the male, "Huh?" Quinlan lowered his head and sighed. "Naima, this isn't the place or time... we are suppose to be--" Both wolves ears perked up as they caught the scent of blood on the wind. Wide eyed with concern both wolves took off in the direction of the wind, forgetting about their personal matters, it was time for them to do their job to protect the pack. Both Naima and Quinlan caught the scent of another wolf, unfamiliar to them, and the smell of deer blood. Quinlan was furious, he usually kept his anger in check, but today was not a day to mess with him. IK was a very open and accepting pack, but when it came down to intruders hunting on it's land, it would not act kindly.
Naima and Quinlan raced as fast as they could to catch up with the intruder. Their hearts pounded in unison with their steps, their breath's were quick and short. They two burst into a clearing. They were quick to see a rust colored wolf cornering a wounded deer. The two wolves stood strong and faced the wolf. "Just what on earth do you think you are doing!?" Snapped Quinlan, shaking Naima. She had never heard him so aggressive before and it caught her off guard. She looked at Quinlan for a moment but quickly pulled her attention back to the lone wolf in front of them. "This is IsraKaiya territory! You are not just open to hunt on our lands!" She growled as she watched the female infront of her.

Tut tut, she-wolf. Breaking rules is fun until you get punished.
She had, perhaps, made a mistake in visiting Ralastor, reminding him that she was nearby, and very much not a figment of his adolescent fantasies. Ralastor had followed her, shadowed the shadow, and many times he had lost the trail. But blood was an easy scent to track, and he had been fascinated to see her take on an adult deer by herself. It was only natural that he follow, boldly slipping past the distinctive smell of one of his neighbour's boundary markings.
They were a big pack. Many mouths to feed. It seemed unlikely that they would let her get away without a fight, and oh, Ralastor so wanted to watch. Maybe even to let her remember her mortality a little, let the pack remind her that she could bleed, and step in as the hero. She would appreciate his strength more when it was on her side. Not yet, though. He kept hidden, staying where the winds would not carry his smell to the IsraKaiyan wolves.

The voices sent the deer in a frantic zigzag right past Ember's nose, and distracted her long enough to allow the doe to get away. Anger coiled within the wolf's chest, and she turned to survey the stranger wolves coldly. "I was obtaining my dinner, which you have now deprived me of. She was on my lands. That she fled onto yours is no concern of mine." That deer should have been her dinner. Ember would not eat this night, because of the wolves who had intruded so rudely into her hunt. Though she had been thusly deprived, Ember's posture showed nothing of defeat, and she growled low in her throat. "Do all deer who cross IsraKaiya territory become yours for the taking? I think not." No.
No, she would not let this female growl at her, let this male snap at her, and chase away her meal without an answer to such offenses. She was alone, yes, and that was a disadvantage. But she was not unprepared for a fight. That deer would have fed her for several days. Coolly, she transferred her gaze first from the male then to the female. Whatever they thought to accomplish with this, they would regret their rash actions. Oh yes, they would most assuredly come to regret them.

Lorrison, despite nearing the age of adolescence, was still very much a pup. He had been given little responsibilities and, having separated himself from his peers, sought amusement in what he hoped was a more grown-up activity. It had started off simply enough: he was going on patrol duty with the rest of the adults. But then, imagination wound its way into his head, until he was convinced he had been especially assigned this task by the alphas themselves (because he was the best at it, of course). It was true he was apart from the pair he had chosen to follow, and hid often, but that was only because he had been given a secret mission to follow them. Entrusted was he with the task of discovering how well they fared in the pack, how trustworthy they were, and whether or not they were, instead, spies for a rival pack. His opinion was so greatly valued and his loyalty so unwavering, that only he could complete the mission.
He was so enraptured by the glamorous vision in his mind's eye that it took a moment for him to notice a stranger running across their lands. It was only Quinlan's unexpectedly harsh voice that roused him from his wistfulness, and even then he first believed the words and tone had been meant for him. He thought himself discovered, and would have revealed himself had Naima not spoken. But she had, and he realized a bleeding deer and its harasser were in clear view.
Still believing in his imagined world, he set off to take down the deer himself (single-handedly, of course, and at such a young age!), failing to realize the true dangers of the circumstance he found himself in.

Eve;; AltairEve had been silent but, hearing a commotion the young adolescent quickly followed. Strange scents had her hair bristling, another wolf in their territory? Who would be foolish enough to challenge her mighty alphas or their might beta? Sniffing warily her paws carried the shy female closer to her comrades and, towards the strange wolf. Never one to rush into things Eve took her time assessing the information given, Three of her pack members currently were on the scene. The she wolf standing snarling back at them had been hunting on their lands, why couldn't she have just let the deer go and, went after another in her own territory? Brown almost honey colored orbs watch things play out from the shadows of the trees, she nearly jumped to grab Lorrison but, there was no need. Altair had swooped in to snatch the pup up, now that things felt a bit safer Eve let her more bold side shine through. Wit ha low growl the adolescent wolfess stepped into place behind Altair. "You are outnumbered..I suggest you leave..before my alpha's come. They do not take kindly to intruders." Her words were not cruel or, meant to provoke the female, they were spoken truthfully in a soft gentle voice. Eve only wished for there to be no conflict or bloodshed but, if the foolish female kept making a scene she knew her family..her pack would deal with her. From behind Eve came another wolf a low silky growl escaping his maw. No one should be in their territory, they had many wolves and pups to care for. Every deer counted, every morsel of meat had to be used. The she wolf obviously didn't care and, held little fear. What a stupid thing to do. A sudden movement stopped the brightly colored males movements, Lorrison..grumbling Altair rushed to snatch the pup up. It didn't matter that soon he would grow too big to be carried, or that he had probably just wanted to help. No..they didn't need a pup in danger his alphas would already be furious. With his heavy bundle in tow the adolescent male moved back behind Naima and, Quinlan. As gently as possible his jaws relaxed settling Lorrison back to his paws. "Lorrison..please think before you act. We are dealing with an angered unfamiliar wolf. She could have harmed you and, the deer is far too large for one so small to catch..what would your mother do if you were harmed?" Giving the younger male a light nudge Altair re-focused growling lightly in support of the others. They could easily take on the female..she would be outnumbered.

Before Lorrison could discover just how apt he was in catching a deer, he was unceremoniously snatched up and dragged away. He was larger and heavier than the pups that were more often held, and so he found that his tail, and occasionally, his bum, dragged across the floor quite often. Despite his uncomfortable squirming and vocal complaints, he wasn't released from his clutch until he was certain he would never be able to catch the deer (how fast it ran!). Believing he actually had a chance, his pride smarted, and he pouted when he was finally placed down, ears flat and eyes downcast.
"But we're always nice to strangers, and they never give us any trouble," he said, his voice more a mumble than he had intended in response to the growls rising around him. He wondered why this time was different, and the pack so aggressive towards the newcomer now. Was the deer a friend, like Gisli? If so, why did it not approach them for protection? Or was the female an enemy; one of the wolves from their rival pack that KilRoy often mentioned? ...A spy from said pack?
At the latest thought, he grew excited once more and stood beside his pack-brother, eager to prove himself. Now that the idea had ingrained itself in his mind, it did not occur to him that there was any other reason for the female to be so despised, and he pressed his ears forward in the aggressive manner he saw about him, rumbling his throat with an imitated growl.

As the pup chased after the deer, Ember felt a momentary flash of irritation. She was not going to sit by and watch as this pack took down and devoured her deer. Still... it was a pup. Young and foolish... innocent. The pup didn't know what he was doing. He could not imagine the chaos that his simple actions might cause. There was potential in young, potential that ought not be squandered. Before she could make up her mind, however, another voice spoke up. Ember's fur bristled, an aggressive fury filling her at the new female's words. "Oh? Do they also seek to interfere in hunts not their own? Do they chase away prey that rightfully belongs to a wolf not of their pack?"
Fiercely, she faced them all, at the ready. She was not badly wounded. She would not suffer any of these wolves to think her weak. No. Not for a moment would she show fear that she did not feel, nor succumb to their greater numbers. "Am I outnumbered? Am I? Perhaps you ought to consider that I have only myself to risk. You risk far more." Pups. What fools brought pups to such disputes? Who had allowed this young male to chase so near an outsider?
But another wolf plucked the pup from danger's jaws. Internally, Ember felt a faint twinge of relief. She had not wanted to harm the pup, but he had presented her best opportunity. She was no coward, and she was not desperate. From her current position, almost perfectly still, she watched them, searching for any sign of weakness among them. The lone wolf would have to plan her attack very carefully, if she was to take even one of them down with all the others watching. The deer had come from her territory. That it now wandered in theirs was none of her concern. It was their choice to make trouble, and her choice to stand firm.

As he had done, what seemed so long ago, with Layla, Ralastor did now with the elusive she-wolf, stalking and waiting for a moment of weakness or vulnerability. Now was the time to strike - a moment where she stood in actual danger that he could defend her from. She wanted him to impress her, somehow? Perhaps it was time for a show of strength. It would serve to win her over, he hoped, as well as to remind this neighbouring pack that he was a force to be reckoned with.
He crept along the edges of the dispute, closer and closer. Finally, he stepped into view.
"Indeed, is she alone?" Ralastor couldn't help but smirk a little, disdain in his eyes as he looked at each of the members of the IsraKaiya pack present. "I suggest you all leave. This female is under the protection of the Warugaruga." He threw back his head and howled; the deep, eerie timbre of his voice reaching across the lands of both packs' territories. When at last the note faded and he lowered his gaze again, he said simply, "And they are on their way."

(I'm assuming you all know who walle eva and roy are... >.> don't make me post images... I already have a huge amount of wolves that are about to "play")
Wall-e's ears pirked up sharp as a deep howl of a wolf he'd only heard from a close cross between territories picked up in a distance not far from the den. Instantly his ears were back, two tones eye's searched out the iceblue of his mates as she stood alert on the shore line, having been teaching the pups vital lessons in what it meant to be wolf Switching from her gaze he looked to Roy's whom also seemed to be watching him for his next move. A low growl rumbled in his chest. And Eva came to stand beside him for just a moment before he took off into the trees, she he knew would be quick to follow.
Eva "Was that who I thought it was? In our territory?" Her ears were back and a growl of worry rumbled in her chest, as she spoke to Faith while trotting up to where Roy stood, having watched her mate take off. Wern't Quinlan and Naima in that area... why hadn't they sounded off to the pack that enemies were crossing lines. And WHY did Ralastor just make a pack calling howl. She was shaking with fury as her mate left her to get the pack ready. Her eye's slid over all the pups who seemed still quite carefree, while all the adults tried to pretend they hadn't heard what they had and seen one of the alphas take off. "FAITH, KAZEHAYA, AURELLO, ZAIOHA. GET THE PUPS ALL IN THE DEN NOW! EVERYONE ELSE GET READY..." She felt confident as her voice carried calmly over each of the adults in the pack, the young adolescents seemed to question their place for a moment, several helped the other submissives in getting the little ones in, while some stood ready they were young, but fit enough to protect, each head was turned to their alpha. Roy came to stand beside her, a calm rage flowing through him.
Roy "What are you waiting for? Go! That wasn't a lets chat howl that was a war howl!! He stood with his ear's straight up, taking on the mantle of leadership as he looked for Noelle. Eva just nodded to him before slinking off at a quick speed. The rest were looking to Roy, "Adolescents... Stay with the submissives... protect our future. The rest of you, Our Alphas will need us. Be prepared for anything. Lets go! With those words said he flanked by his family, friends and pack followed at a measured but quick pace after their alphas.
-------------------------------------------
Wall-e Heaved himself to a silent halt, his blue/brown gaze judging the situation for a split second while his nose gave him he rest of the details, a lone wolf, Ralastor, his pack, and Lorrison... he silently glared at Lorrison's back for being out here, how had that pup managed to get out here? he was as bad as Damon!
He took a moment to steady himself, then being the perfect image of confidence, he stood straight and strode silently out of the brush, Tail high, flaunting his very large half mountain wolf stature as he went to stand just slightly infront of Quinlan, Naima, Eve, and Altair. Concern hit him for a moment at Eve and Altair being out too, but they were big enough now and he forced himself to brush it off. His voice, a low growl joining it, spoke in as calm a measure he could for having such intruders in his lands, addressing his pack first. "Eve, Altair. I'm going to charge you both with keeping Lorrison safe please." What he meant was that they were to step back, and hang in the wings incase things got tricky, they would be like the rest of the younger adults and adolescents that were necessary to protect the pups, respected to fight if necessary but if not to let the much older and experienced wolves take care of things.
"What is the meaning of this?" he said a second later. A deep growl filling his voice." Why is there a lone bleeding in my territory, and WHY are you Ralastor so much as placing a claw in my lands? Please tell me your not stupid enough to challenge us?... I knew you were a problem whelp but I didn't think you were this bad..." His voice lost it's growl from showing dominance, as it took on a trademark bored tone towards the end of his words fully directed at the younger alpha. He was insulting the territory confused alpha intentionally this way, He knew all about the crazy wolfs track record at being ruthless. He remembered hearing about the younger alpha when Istas first joined them... and the rest, well IK didn't miss much when it came to information thanks to the always coming and going half-pack, not to mention the connections he held strong with his cousin in the mountains. To think others would follow this whelp was concerning to say the least but that wasn't his main problem.
Using a tactic to belittle the younger Alpha further he turned his attention from the wolf, dismissing his presence as unimportant with body language, as if he was nothing but a dead leaf waiting to be crushed under a large paw. He looked over to the pissed off femme. He could tell from scent that none of his had attacked her, but her being here, bleeding, and seeming more like she was about to attack then flee had him intrigued. "I'm curious as to why you are here, and being so defensive... I smell a deer, were you hunting in our territory during welp season? Is that how you were wounded?" he was much calmer addressing her, she might be hunting in their territory, which was the only thing he usually required asked permission from lone's to do. if he ever allowed it to begin with, which it was whelping season so that would be a huge no. but she wasn't calling her entire pack to another much larger packs territory in aggression, so he could spare her a chance to explain.
Behind him he sensed rather then heard Eva's approach, though she remained hidden. She wouldn't show herself until it was necessary, and thanks to her incredible stealth he knew she wouldn't be noticed by the rest until she wanted to be. He also figured, behind her much of the pack had followed, in case this went south...
((Lets play? >83 ))

Quinlan's eye's narrowed as the female intruder spoke unwavering. He tensed every muscle in his body ready to attack, even though he knew it was not the right move. Naima shot him a look of concern as he did so, her eyes filled with horror. "Quinlan... don't." She whispered. Before the male could do anything his attention was snapped away from the lone female as one of the pack pups Lorrison wandered onto the scene. "Where in the world did he come from?" Quinlan muttered watching as he walked straight into a dangerous situation. Luckily Altair and Eve emerged from the bushes as well and Altair stopped Lorrison from entering into harms path. Although Altair and Ever were still adolescence he was glad to have possible back up if needed. Naima was revealed as Altair brought Lorrison to their side and nodded in agreement with Eve's words. Naima's furred stood on end as a large male wolf entered the scene, he carried himself as an alpha, although she had never seen him before, he matched the description of a neighboring pack's alpha. "We need to call Wall-e" She whispered to Quinlan not wanting to show weakness to the wolves around her. Before the wolves could do anything the large alpha made his cry for his pack. She knew that this would alert Wall-e and the rest of the pack as well. Before long Wall-e arrived at the scene. "Quinlan and I found her while on border patrol. She was found cornering a wounded deer in our territory." Naima explained to Wall-e. Quinlan's focus was dead set of the lone female. Today was not a day to mess with him, and he had it out for the female at this point. He needed to release some stress and anger and the lone female was asking for it. He ignored the presence of the male alpha, and took very little notice to Wall-e's appearance. A vicious growl escaped his maw as he stepped forward to Wall-e's side. "Let's just get this over with!" He flicked his ears and flashed his teeth waiting for Wall-e to give him a go... but under his anger and frustration he knew the likeliness of Wall-e doing so was very low at this point in time.

Arcadius stood, ears strained forward at the sound of Ralastor's summoning howl. Despite the fact that the alpha was in a different territory, Arcadius was not far off, for he was still relatively new to Warugaruga and less wary about leaving its borders than others may have been. On the contrary, when he had noticed the disappeared alpha, he had made an attempt to follow, for he was always looking for moments of weakness (during which he could begin to assert himself as the new leader) to take advantage of, and finding Ralastor's corpse would be sure to help, especially if he could make it seem as if he had defeated the bulky alpha in battle.
Alas, the howl chased such thoughts away, but they were loose to begin with. As long as Ralastor showed now signs of failing, no instances of cowardice, nor any hesitation, he would have Arcadius' loyalty, as unwavering as it could get. And so, upon hearing the call, he quickened his pace to a hunting lope, quick enough to reach his alpha as soon as he could, but not with so much effort he would be breathless and unable to do anything by the time he reached him. Noëlle gave a snort of displeasure, her head buried low in one of the small underground caves that littered the territory. Lorrison had gone missing (again), and despite the fact that he had returned every time, she couldn't help but to worry. It didn't help that no matter how she called, he never deemed to reply, making her quest to find him that much harder. Asking other pack members were often fruitless, as well, for his methods of hiding included ensuring there be a lack of witnesses. She sighed and shook her head at the thought, wondering if he obtained those traits from his father, for it was rare for her to see wolves purposely avoid the company of their own kind, especially their own pack-mates, and even more so if they were only pups.
Before she could dwell on this, however, a sudden howl rang through the air, but not one from her own pack despite it originating from its lands. Instantly, she was on the alert, and her worry grew not only for Lorrison, but the rest of her pups and the pack's young, as well. She performed a quick search on the rest of the small caves dotting the area around her and, finding nothing, she left to go to the alphas, a whine of frustration escaping her lips.
She reached them just as KilRoy asserted the need for the protection of the young and, partially assured, she caught his eye and ran beside him. Her resolution fluttered briefly, but she knew the greater good of the pack was more important than searching for her pups alone. Finding out the source of the commotion and dealing with it was her priority now, and she comforted herself with the knowledge that multiple wolves had been tasked with caring for the young and, despite their numbers, they were all remembered.

Kumonryu perked up when he heard the summoning howl from Ralastor. a grin was upon his face as he took off to where Ralastor had gave the summoning howl. he knew Ralastor would not summon the pack for no reason and he was bristling with excitement with what was to come. moving at a strong fast pace, he couldn't wait to find out what was going on and to see if this would be the opportunity to prove his worth to Ralastor. but for now all he was focused on was getting to the territory that Ralastor was in so he would not miss anything.

Nox heard the howl from his father and knew better than to disobey, he watched as first Arcadius and then Kumonryu followed to the source of the sound. While he didn't hang back, he was a little less eager to join that summoning howl. He didn't like conflict and he knew Ralastor wouldn't have howled like that if he hadn't needed the pack to support him for some reason. He took note of the scents as he crossed the border rapidly, lots of scents, pups too mingled with lots of females ... maybe that's why his father was here, was he trying to steal pups or women for the pack. Nox wasn't sure but he knew he had better arrive before the gamma's did or he'd be in for a probable beating for not being among the first to come to the summons, breifly Nox wondered where Brutus and Tasso were but he was sure they'd heard and were also on their way. He reached a place where Ralastor was standing facing of a growing number of wolves ... he stood beside a bleeding female... an almost familiar scent coming from her and he wondered a little. Reaching his father's side he tried to stand proudly and look menacing, but unhurt as he was and with no scent of his own blood, Nox looked about as menacing as a newborn lamb. "Father" he said simply, nodding and facing the pack, waiting for the next move.

Every part of the young female shook, she hated confrontation. She hated fighting and, bloodshed since she had been a young pup but, the enemy alpha male had challenged them and, her alpha's wouldn't let that happen without confrontation. Sure enough Wall-e moved swiftly to the front, soon the handsome beta male Roy would be there too. Heart fluttering it took all the brown and black females will power to focus on Lorrison and, back away with Altair close behind her."Yes alpha. I will not let anyone touch him." That was one thing no one should ever worry about..a pup being harmed in Eve's care. The packs' little ones were important and, she would die fighting to keep them and, their home safe. With a quick look to Altair they slunk farther back near the trees where, if things went wrong one of them could run back to warn the pack with Lorrison while the other distracted their enemies.
Altair trembled at the suddenly large obviously alpha male that appeared and, joined the female wolf. This did not bode well..sure enough he howled long and loud, a cry for his pack. Shifting his focus the adolescent male nudged Lorrison closer snarling menacingly when the females eyes went to the pup. Hair standing on end he nearly missed his alpha's presence but, then heard his words. What he said mirrored Eve's exactly before his mouth closed over Lorrison's scruff. "Yes alpha. Lorrison if you come willingly I won't keep carrying you..your too heavy anyways. You must be strong and brave but, not foolish." Giving the others a look of courage he moved back to Eve, knowing exactly what the female had planned. They had been friends since the female had joined them as a pup. Their minds had become close to the same and, they could but, glance at one another to know what the other wanted or didn't want done. Puffing himself up his jaws relaxed letting Lorrison go safely near the forests edge. "Eve..if something goes wrong you and Lorrison run back to the pack, I will make sure you are not followed." When the female nodded in agreement he turned his eyes back to the scene worriedly digging his paws into the dirt. To think that the day had started so normally..only to transform into this.
((Coal has more plots and needs to be rped into the pack along with his son but, I'm assuming it's okay to post them for now. If not just tell me in a pm, and I will removed them <3 )) Silent. Stealthy..fast. Coal growled menacingly at his new alpha's call. Ha alpha. It still tasted strange and bitter on his tongue but, the gamma wanted his revenge and, today would be the day. Today he would corner that pathetic little female from their pack, and end her sad existence. Worthless females..pointless, stupid creatures but, at least one of them had proven useful. She had given him his greatest asset. A son. A son that currently shadowed him following his every step through the undergrowth. They hadn't been far from their leader and, soon came upon the scene where he could smell her. She had grown yet she still had that innocent adolescent look to her. Snarling darkly Coal moved closer to his alpha just in time to hear Nox arrive along with a few other members of their pack. It would be stupid to ask outright to attack the female..no he would have to wait and bide his time then at just the right moment he would separate her from her precious pack. Behind Coal stood his own son the quiet male that looked at no one, many thought he had mental problems. "Donovan...stay close..you know what to do." For months he had told his adolescent son..had told him about the pup that had escaped him..about the alpha's that had made Coal feel so humiliated. Today they would all pay! No pups would be safe from his angered wrath..no females or younger wolves would be given mercy. Sad eyes peered from behind his alpha and, his father's bodies. This is what it had come down to...fighting more of their kin..fighting over something stupid. Donovan made not a sound but, his downcast eyes were enough proof that he did not wish to be there. Stolen form his mothers side as a pup the adolescent had been raised in the bloodthirsty almost savage pack..a pack that wanted lots of land, lots of power. Had he the choice Donovan wouldn't be a part of the madness..wouldn't be a part of the blood shed. For there was one thing Coal could never change about his son, that was the influence of his mother. Divine Cure. She had Donovan as an adolescent and, raised him alone but, never did anything violent. She had been a happy kind soul who taught him to love his kin to not harm unless it meant saving his own life from death's cold grip. Sighing faintly he longed for the day of escape..maybe he could make a rogue pack..a pack to oppose his father and, this pack. They were no family like the pack before him, they all just wanted power or something evil.
Eve shuddered a bit seeing more and, more enemy wolves appear, her hackles rose a bit worry seeping into her mind. Surely more of their pack would appear too! Surely..she wouldn't have to hurt someone. Stomach churning her eyes suddenly met dark evil eyes..eyes form her childhood that nearly made the young wolfess run home. Him...Coal evil darkness menacing as he stalked up behind the other packs alpha male. Trembling noticeably Eve hunkered down closer to Lorrison and, Altair who had thankfully moved closer in a protective stance. "Don't worry Eve. Just remember to stand firm..if anyone comes after you and Lorrison run on the paths we made as pups through the forest." Gathering all her courage Eve straightened her young body up to glare at Coal showing him she wouldn't be intimidated any longer. She had grown and, had an adopted family, a pack that cared for her and, a pack that would protect her to the bitter end.
