It was another lovely weekend at Amityville Academy, and as per usual, Altair intended on spending none of it sober. The demon had been playing far too much, taking a blow right in the gpa and inciting near-daily lectures from his father. So now weekdays were reserved for attempting productivity, but Altair took the weekends for himself with great relish. He'd rolled a few special cigs and was hiking out with his Asteroid Belt at his side to go on an adventure whilst blazed. One never knew what they would find on a romp through Amityville, particularly when one was not quite in one's right mind.

His hiking carried him past the monster dorms, which reminded him with some displeasure of getting punched in the nose by a certain skinwalker. More frustrating still, they hadn't gotten to finish their fight thanks to the meddling of that mindflayer. It still rankled with the incubus that he'd had to back down, though his only other option had been to take a beating. Siding with a monster against a demon! Not that Altair held himself to be particularly prejudiced, but certainly monsters were more bestial than demons, and far easier to slap down like dogs. Nukpana needed to learn his place. Although he'd provoked precisely what he'd wanted out of the skinwalker, he hadn't been able to send back his own message in return.

This needed rectifying.

Lucky for Altair, at that particular moment Nuk had been wandering that exact area, the expanse of forest nearby ideal for the restless skinwalker. Unlike the incubus, Nukpana cared very little about his lack of sobriety, far more interested in more physical endeavors, such as the fitness club or gym class. Any outlet for his seemingly boundless energy was relished, anything to stave off the burn in his muscles, some momentary relief and satisfaction. However, gym classes were only offered so often, and the fitness club could only meet so many times a week, leaving him agitated and impatient. Combining this with his friends' new interest in his academics, and Nuk had been near unruly, temper flaring quickly and without warning. During the week, he sat impatiently through lectures and study sessions, coaxed along by kisses from Shehk and scolds from Riley and encouragements from Junko, but the weekend was his time, and hell help any who got in his way.

The sound of several sets of footsteps made the large, bulky wolf slow from his flat-out run, ears swiveling to listen. It certainly wasn't rare for other students to wander around the surrounding area, but it was definitely uncommon enough to spark his attention, if not his interest. There wasn't much reason for other students to be wandering around the area, unless they wanted to be alone for some reason, considering the seclusion from the rest of the school. It was why he went back there, anyway, but not everyone needed the type of exercise he did. No, the most common reason, by far, was another type of mischief to be had in these woods, and it was for this reason the skinwalker looked towards the direction the steps were coming from, his steps becoming much more precise as he stalked towards the sound, fully intending to interrupt the couple he assumed were looking for some privacy.

Whatever amusement he had had, however, died almost immediate as he came upon Altair, growling audibly to himself not only at the interruption, but at the lost opportunity to harass some unsuspecting love-birds. It was no secret there was bad blood between himself and the demon -- their friendship had always been shaky, at best, even before Altair had kissed Shehk, full of snide remarks and smug posturing. After he'd kissed Nuk's girlfriend, things had been downright nasty. Usually, something kept them from fighting, be it a teacher or, in their last case, Riley backing him up, but that hadn't kept them from spitting insults or threats. (Or rather, it hadn't kept him from spitting insults or threats -- Altair always seemed to be such a smug b*****d.)

This time, however, they were quite alone.

Pushing out from the cover of the surrounding brush, Nuk shifted back to the dark-skinned student form he took, back hunched a bit as he stalked towards Altair, lips pulled back over his teeth in a canine-like sneer.

"Better get the jack outta here, incubus. Or did you not get enough of my fist the first time?"

Altair fumed to himself silently as he hiked through the forest, skirting the swamp behind the monster dorms carefully. He was on his guard the moment he caught the movement of someone in the brush, a little red-eyed but clear headed, his guarded look immediately shifting to one of surprise and then amusement when he realized who it was as the beast took on humanoid shape. Of course, Nuk. Speak of the monster. He felt a thrill at Nuk's threat. It seemed the skinwalker was looking for the same thing he was: a fight.

The incubus snorted. "You were lucky you had backup last time. Jack knows you wouldn't stand a chance in a one on one with me," he eyed the skinwalker, his half-smirk curling up one corner of his mouth. The Asteroid Belt was posturing at his side, eyes blazing and horns swaying up at the much larger being, but Altair shooed Dakari aside, arching his tail, winking coyly at Nuk.

"I owe you one for that punch. Maybe a couple," the demon growled, arching his clawed fingers, baring his fangs a little, his forked black tongue flicking out snakelike.

He would have laughed, had the situation been different. He couldn't help but feel a little thrill at how the incubus tensed up as he caught just the briefest sight of him in the brush, suddenly acutely aware -- it was the feeling of a predator stalking its prey. Had the situation been different, he would have exploited it for his own amusement too, playing a morbid game of cat and mouse. As it was, however, he didn't laugh, and didn't find it even the least bit funny, far too riled up to derive any twisted amusement from the game of dominance. He hadn't nearly expended the amount of energy he'd have needed to make him any less irritable, and as it was it probably wouldn't have done much good anyway when it came to the demon. He was lucky he hadn't jumped into another brawl without warning. As he straightened, Nuk folded his arms firmly across his chest, amber eyes narrowing a little at Altair's leering.

"Lucky huh?" There was a distinct snarl to the gravely tone of his voice, an undertone of mirthless laughter, his glowing eyes flashing with the tendency towards violence, "I think you forget who you're talking to, incubus. You may think you're pretty strong for a demon, but my backup coulda taken you. And no offense to Riley, when it comes to pure physical strength, I think I have a leg-up on her." Unfurling his arms, the skinwalker rolled his shoulders, taking another few steps towards Altair, completely ignoring the minipet. As many could have testified, Nuk cared very little for anyone's personal space, and it seemed in a fight, things were no different. The wink on the other's part did nothing to quell his flaring temper, either -- straightening further, he got right up in his face, close enough they could have been touching, had either moved just an inch closer.

"And another thing..."

Snapping his hand forward, Nuk fisted a handful of Altair's collar, dragging him even closer into his personal space, baring his teeth right up in his face.

"You'd better keep that tongue in your mouth before I tear it out."

Altair bared his teeth a little at how Nuk narrowed his eyes at him, first in a grin but then in a snarl as he said that Riley could have taken him. The incubus hadn't had the balls to take his chances against the pair of them, but he thought he could handle the mindflayer. She was tough, but she wasn't the only one with tentacles around here. However, Nuk wasn't lying when he said that he was more physically powerful than her, and by comparison, him. He'd joined the fitness club in the hopes of bulking up a bit, but for now, the skinwalker had weight on him, a solidly built little knobgoblin.

The incubus hissed through his teeth a little as the monster got in his face, eyes narrowing, rigid, every muscle taut as he got so close, clenching clawed fingers into fists, his tail flicking in agitation when he grabbed his collar, growling as Nuk snapped in his face. He grinned, flicking his tongue again, daring him. "Bite me, skinwalker. You're just a cursed human," he nearly purred, flicking out his tentacles, two of the sleek black appendages exuding from his back, expending Fear.

He'd had every intention of letting Altair throw the first punch, let the incubus get in one good punch before he beat him to the ground. They'd both known a fight had been coming anyway -- it had been long overdue, in fact, living on borrowed time as they went about their daily lives, just waiting for the chance to get up in each others' faces again. Neither of them had been satisfied by that punch Nuk had thrown the day he'd kissed Shehk, the incubus eager to fight back and the skinwalker itching to lay a few more on him where that had come from. At the Fitness Club meeting, they'd practically circled each other the entire time, the only thing keeping them from outright brawling being the fact that Riley would likely kick them both out, something neither of them really wanted. Here, alone in the forest, where no one could stop them or get in the way, it was almost too perfect, and he'd known as soon as he'd stepped out of the brush where this would end up. He'd wanted to be able to tell Shehk he at least gave Altair a chance.

But them was fightin' words.

Clenching his fist, Nuk didn't even give him a warning growl as he swung back his fist, punching the demon square in the gut. He'd almost punched him in the balls -- it would have been adequate payback for the nut-shot Altair had gotten him with the paintball -- but at the last second he'd refrained, instead aiming a few inches higher, deciding to not incapacitate him straight-out. He didn't want this to end quickly, he wanted to beat the s**t outta the incubus. Grabbing him by the collar, he spun him around hard to slam his back into a nearby tree, holding him by the shirt as he wailing on him with his fist.

Altair knew his words would provoke some sort of reaction, the incubus delighting in angering the skinwalker by inches. Not that it was hard to piss the skinwalker off, not when it came to him, it seemed. It was true, the paintball practice hadn't been enough-- even if he'd nailed him in the nuts, there was something more satisfying about the thought of his fist hitting Nuk in the face to return his favor. And now that the demon had his full attention and they were finally alone, he fully intended on laying Nuk out. But the reaction came too quickly, the incubus swearing just before the punch sank into his gut and winded him, jerking forward over his fist, gasping as pain seared through his body. That son of a b***h!

The incubus grunted as his back slammed into the tree, his eyes narrowed in a painful wince, when he saw that fist heading his way again, and his free hand whipped up, digging his claws into the hand holding his shirt, forcing him against the tree. Sucking in a sharp breath, he bared his teeth in a grimace, snapping into action, one of his tentacles whipping out to latch onto his other wrist as he swung back with his free hand, shoving away from the tree, aiming his blow at Nuk's face, unleashing all of his pent up rage at being bested by the skinwalker, publicly, even, and he was going to get his revenge, sore gut or not, twisting the wrist in his clawed grip roughly, eyes blazing.

It was truly just as satisfying as he'd imagined, the meaty thwack of his fist slamming into Nuk's jaw. And quite addictive. After the first blow hit, the incubus let go of the skinwalker's wrist, reaching out to close his fingers in an iron-fisted grip around his throat, hooking him in the ribs, swearing at him in tongues. "Yeah, how's that feel, now that you don't have your little purple friend here to back you up?" he sneered, taunting him.

Nuk continued to wail on Altair as hard as he could despite how his knuckles smarted, right up until the point where that tentacle wrapped around his wrist, momentum interrupted. Almost immediately he snarled, trying fiercely to jerk his hand away from that slimy black appendage, hissing and spitting in frustration, completely ignoring the nails digging into his other hand. He was far too distracted to see the way the incubus'was sneering at him, much less the free hand rear back to deck him. Altair's fist connected with his jaw without resistance, the blow stunning the skinwalker and knocking him back a few steps. For a second, the world spun, and he had this flickering moment of confusion on what exactly happened, as if he couldn't quite believe that he'd been hit by 'that homo.' But a second's time was an eternity in a fight, and he didn't have that second to waste, Altair's fingers already wrapping around his throat, stomach tightening as he hit him right in the ribs.

Two could play at that game.

It took him only half a second to shift forms, the burly black wolf that resulted far too heavy and awkward to keep pinned by the throat. As soon as all four paws hit the dirt, Nuk had leaped back a few feet, snarling much in the way he had when he'd been in his human form, dark eyes narrowing on the demon. If he wanted to use natural abilities, they'd play with natural abilities. Kicking off the dirty, he hit Altair as hard as he could, twisting his head around to close his fangs on a good chunk of black material, tasting a hint of blood where his teeth had scratched the incubus' skin. He used this new-found leverage to his advantage, shaking his head back and forth hard a few times to shove him to the ground, shifting his form back as he leaped onto him to straddle his chest, slamming his fist hard into Altair's cheekbone.

"Feels great."

Altair was getting bruised and battered by the rain of blows, hissing in pain, though the elation of beating the hell out of Nuk filled him with enough adrenaline to ignore the pain of being struck, the stunned look on the skinwalker's face making him grin.

The expression just as quickly melted off of his face when he suddenly found himself with a fistful of fur instead of Nuk's throat, clutching at air as the wolf disengaged from him, the incubus whipping his tentacle back protectively. He snarled back at the skinwalker in his beast form, arching his fingers into claws, tentacles writhing up from his shoulder blades, his tail lashing the air. He tensed as Nuk leapt at him, starting to turn to dodge, and swore as those fangs caught in his jacket and flesh.

Even in this form, Nuk was heavier than him, and the incubus hissed, lashing out as he was flung to the ground, starting to sit up when Nuk suddenly slammed down onto his chest, punching him across the face, and Altair's head hit the dirt again. The incubus reached up with both hands, seizing the front of Nuk's shirt and throwing up his hips, using his weight to toss the skinwalker over and reverse their positions. He settled heavily atop the monster, yanking back his hair and punching him as hard as he could, catching him in the ear, the nose, his face smarting from Nuk's punch, determined to leave bruises on him.

"And this? What about this? I've got plenty more, skinwalker, just let me know.."
PostPosted: Thu May 19, 2011 9:03 pm

He'd give Altair one thing -- he wasn't as much of a p***y in a fight as he'd thought he'd be. He'd expected this fight to go one way, and continue that way until he got tired of beating the jack outta the the demon. He hadn't even expected the fight to go on very long, completely certain that the incubus would roll over for him and beg him to stop after he punched him a few times. This certainly was not the case. In fact, Nuk found himself panting as he landed as many blows as he could while straddled over Altair's body, sweat and blood dripping from his face onto the paler one beneath him, teeth bared in an angry sneer. He didn't like to admit it, but he knew his advantage wouldn't last long, already feeling him buck hard beneath him, struggling to unseat him.

When Altair's hands found the front of his shirt, he grappled with his wrists, grunting as he back hit the dirt hard, his head snapping to the side as the demon's fist once again connected with his face, tasting blood his mouth. Flailing with one hand, he grabbed a fistful of material over Altair's shoulder, twisting and bucking in the dirty, his own free hand lashing out to connect with his ribs a few times, eventually managing to get his leg between their bodies to kick him hard in the stomach to get him off, rolling up into a crouched position, back hunched in a feral position.

"Bring it!"

Altair's knuckles were getting bloodied, dripping black blood onto the leaf litter beneath them as they tussled and pounded each other, the sound of their struggle uninterrupted, penetrating through the quiet of the forest in noisy grunts and angry challenges. Left scratched and bruised from Nuk's rain of blows, the demon eagerly cut into the skinwalker, feeling many blows connect before the monster seized his shoulder, fighting to stay atop the larger boil. When it came to a test of strength like this, however, Altair had no chance.

The punches to his ribs left the incubus gasping, letting go with one hand to protect himself and finding a knee in the stomach, sprawling off of him and rolling into the leaf litter, hurriedly sitting up, catching Nuk's gaze, his fangs revealed, bristling at the monster. The taunt made him take an extra moment of pause, wiping Nuk's blood off of his face and his own dark blood away from where it was dripping out of his nose, getting to his feet and hissing at Nuk. He'd bring it, all right.

The incubus sprang at him from a stationary position, all of his tentacles extended, whipping out to wrap tight around his wrists, one around his throat, flexing them and whipping them to the side to throw Nuk off of his feet, only to pounce, bringing his knee down on the skinwalker's chest, tightening the tentacle around his neck as he set down to punch him as many times as he could, pulling his fists back again and again, ignoring the pain in his hands. His eyes were nearly glowing with rage, his pride stung by the skinwalker's prowess, but he'd show the monster before this fight was over-- he'd finish it. No one made Altair bleed, not even when he'd kissed their ghoulfriend and made it clear he intended to do more than that. This little jack-off would soon see the error of his ways.
PostPosted: Thu May 19, 2011 9:44 pm

Nuk hissed as he felt Altair's body hit his own, his fingers tangling in the incubus' collar as he felt the tentacles snap around his wrists, encircling his throat where the tattoo marked him. Already he was cursing those damn things, the upper hand of having more appendages clear as he was shoved back to the ground, his nails digging into one black tentacle as he fought to pry them off his neck, writhing against the weight of the knee on his chest. The demon's weight was enough to force the air out of his chest, and the tentacles constricting around his neck made it difficult for him to suck in a much-needed breath of air, his flailing only becoming more desperate, completely ignoring the fists connecting with his face. Altair was right about one thing -- the fight was about to end soon, and he was doing a damn good job showing him.

On instinct, the skinwalker shifted beneath Altair again, already flailing as black fur covered his body, snarling and biting down hard on the tentacle still wrapped around his neck. Immediately he felt the grip on him loosen, and he jerked out of the other's grip, already shifting to grab a fistful of the tentacles sprouting from the incubus' back and shoving his knee hard down in the small of his back, his other hand shoving Altair's face into the dirt. "I'm gonna cut these jackers off, then we'll see who's a motherjacking human," he cursed through clenched teeth, hissing against the demon's ear as he pulled on them hard, nails digging into the black flesh.

Altair smirked as Nuk tried to pry the tentacles off, the sturdy appendages far too muscular to be ripped off that easily. He was panting with the effort of holding the skinwalker down and hitting him hard, even though he had the tentacle wrapped around his neck, cutting off his air. The monster's desperate movements were testing the limits of his strength and he knew he had to finish it soon, pulling back his bruised, torn-up fist for a decisive blow.

Then the skinwalker had to choose that moment to shift, making him hiss in frustration, his tentacles too loose to keep his skinnier wolf legs in their grip, and he couldn't quite whip his tentacle away fast enough, feeling Nuk's fangs close down around it. He howled in pain, ripping back from him, his tentacles whipping around, writhing to try to find any point of purchase, flailing when Nuk's grip closed on them, the incubus bucking and writhing, trying to disengage when that knee set down hard in the small of his back.

With a whump, the demon was pinned down to the forest floor, his nose in the dirt, hurriedly twisting his head around to glare up at him one-eyed, hissing and panting, claws digging into the dirt, his tentacles still feebly trying to wrap around his wrists, the voice against his ear and the threat making his spine solidify into ice for a moment. The tentacles were sensitive, his nails digging into them making him wince, and the incubus quickly withdrew them, dispelling his use of Fear. He didn't doubt that the skinwalker would cut them off, and that was not really something that the incubus wanted.

It rankled deeply when it sank in that he'd lost. Fair and square, too-- he couldn't claim that Nuk had cheated. His Asteroid Belt had retreated to the trees but now that it saw its master soundly pinned it started making noises up in the canopy. Altair shifted, for a moment contemplating testing his strength one last time, but the soreness in his body reminded him just how hard Nuk could hit. Reluctantly the demon relaxed against the dirt.

"For jack's sake, get the jack off of me. I'm done," he hissed, not quite admitting that he'd lost to Nuk.
