what kind of shampoo and conditioner do you use right now?
herbal essences gave me dandruff and a couple of my friends said it did for them, too. anything with heavy perfumes may irritate your scalp.
even something too moisturizing may cause build up and cause your scalp to freak out.
i switched to head and shoulders and it cleared it up, and then i switched to something other than herbal essences and i'm fine now. when i notice my hair / scalp being a little dull / flaky i do a wash with head and shoulders and it just revives my hair.

Just use a bit of Head and Shoulders and then continue with your usual shampoo + conditioner routine. I do it regularly and haven't had a problem with dry scalp since.

I tried head and shoulders for awhile.
I don't remember if it helped or not so probs not a whole lot.
Right now I don't use shampoo and I condition with this really old stuff that no one else was using. I don't even know what it's called and I'm too lazy to go look. It's supposed to be natural or something I think though.
I think it might be too moisturizing like alex said. That makes sense.
It's pretty much gone now I was going to switch to sauve naturals.

So I just got out of the shower and now know that my conditioner is in fact.. herbal essences.
Lol alex Y U SO PSYCHIC.
But uh like I said it's gone now so I'll stop using that and uh do what alex did!

If head and shoulders doesn't work try selsun blue. That s**t is like hardcore dandruff fighter. I used to use it until my mom started buying the one with menthol in it cause i'm allergic and would rather not have hives/boils/itchy swelling disgusting masses of s**t on my head and hands lol. But I had some p bad dandruff when I was younger and it helped sooo much. My dad needs to use it or his head is super gross. xD
