If every single ounce of what is listed below was COMPLETELY ERRADICATED from the human psyche, would humanity still be able to survive?
pride egocentrism autrophobia (fear of others) achytiphobia (fear of being wrong) metathesiophobia ( fear of change) autrophilosophobia (fear of the thoughts/ opinions of others) xenophobia (fear of difference) any care towards our own insecurities
If yes, then how? What would life be like? If not, then why?

It would be a society of accepting, free-thinking, non-ridiculing people. Everyone would be accepted for his/her talents. Change would be welcomed, and the Earth would be completly at peace. But I dont think that we could be human withought some of these things.

Well you can't just get rid of those things so it's moot point. Some of those are ingrained in human nature itself.

You would have to destroy most parts of the brain in which processes those traits, and if you did that, the person would die. It's just not possible.

If you took those motives away, then those millions of interactions become worthless.

Of course not! That whole list just described the meaning of 'human', especially the part about PRIDE. ^.^

You keep saying get rid of these things like they are not PART of people. You can't just get rid of parts of humanity. :/

Jessabeth19 You keep saying get rid of these things like they are not PART of people. You can't just get rid of parts of humanity. :/ Assuming Pride and all of the Emotions are actually part of a person. I'm not saying that they are not part of what makes up us. I'll use an example to try to explain what I am getting at. There is a medical technique that involves changing your system. Into a non-acidic based system. Basically, without the acids in your body. A large percentage of viruses will just die out. While in an acidic system. These viruses will just multiply. I know about this because my Uncle was actually using this treatment. See, when we are born. Our system isn't an acidic system right off the bat. It goes through a change after so long due a number of factors. For most people, there system remains acidic for the rest of there lives. The deletion of all of the listed emotions that Shilberu Erikku listed. Sound like the side effects of a person that has undergone a Lobotomy. I've heard that some states use that technique in extreme cases. While other states have outlawed the practice.
