The outskirts of Suna, still within village limits but a particularly barren part filled with nothing but sand.

Bob appeared, sitting on the branch of a dead tree. A sigh emanated from him as he was given instructions to train some genin. It was typically a burden for him to babysit like this but Kentan himself had requested it so of course Bob obey. He scratched the side of his mask a bit disappointed with it hoping that soon enough he would get an upgrade. His eyes peered out onto the wastes awaiting for his new student.

Raijin appeared in the distance having been searching now for nearly half an hour for his new sensei. Looking towards a tree he nodded to himself knowing that was the man he had seen the Kazekage sparing with earlier. Moving closer to him he spoke " I am Raijin Buke... The Kazekage told me to find you..." he said with a very monotonous tone of voice as he approached the man and awaited his response. He had heard he would be learning his taijutsu style, he calmly awaited for the man to respond wondering exactly what style it was he would be learning...

Bob's gaze darted down staring a Raijin with a rather phlegmatic disposition. He neither nodded nor spoke to acknowledge Raijin's existence merely watching him for a few moments before reaching into his robe and pulling out a scroll. Bob tossed the scroll down to Raijin waiting to see his response. Raijin would soon discover that if Bob could avoid speaking he would. He hadn't the time nor desire to tutor this kid but perhaps if he sparked Bob's interest he would get some attention with time.

Raijin caught the scroll and calmly read over it as he began to think to himself " Pi Qua Quan...?" he thought as he looked over it and then looked back up to his sensei. Seeing no response he calmly took the scroll and leaned it over a nearby rock. Assuming a basic stance he began to practice some of the movements. He personally did not approve of this type of training, the movements were awkward, and the strikes weak, such a style seemed rather purposeless to him. However this was the training demanded by his new sensei and by his kage, he knew that he could only advance himself in the shinobi world through their abilities and thusly he had to do as they commanded.
Having been training already for several minutes it was obvious that he was beginning to get the hang of the style. His stance had begun to be far more focused and controlled as he was soon understanding the movements with more and more ease. Rotating his body fluidly and striking upwards he quickly shook and missed the intended target as it was obvious that he was still a novice. While he was progressing quickly for someone of his own minute experience it was obvious that he himself was not someone well trained and that he would need to continue working before he could truly even strike a target with intended strength and position.
Raijin continued to train, his movements now reaching the sharpness and expertise that would be expected of someone to have mastered the first stage of this style. Stepping forward and arching his body low he swept his arm upwards in a swift motion. His feet were clearly out of position for this basic strike, however it was obvious that he had mastered enough of the style for him to be able fight with it. He could now move on to learning the techniques involved in this stage and calmly stepped forward to the scroll and began to read over the few techniques that were listed. Breathing with a slight bit of heaviness present as he continued to train knowing that the kage and his sensei were right in teaching him these techniques...

Bob continued to sit upon the tree almost cement like as his eyes merely followed Raijin's movements still not speaking or uttering anything to the boy he was supposed to be teaching. The scroll ended at stage 3 so once Raijin had mastered that Bob would most likely address him, although Raijin was a genin when Bob was through with him he'd be able to hold up well with most chuunin. His eyes almost seemed glazed over as if his mind was else where, which in fact it was. Bob was deep in thought attempting to seek a method to get past the current restrictions that were keeping him from achieving true and utter power that he would use to protect this village and kill anyone who tried to stand in his was from that goal.

Raijin looked over the scroll and had been reading for a few minutes as he looked through the various descriptions of the second stage of this technique. It was more advanced than the first stage he had so easily mastered and it would most clearly require far more training than before. Raijin knew however that his style of taijutsu was one that would assist him with his ability to use his own clan style of fighting. The fluidity and control over ones body that these users must possess would be a great asset for him to have when manipulating the sand and using it. He calmly stepped back from the scroll and prepared to start learning the second stage.
Assuming the stance that was used for the basic techniques of the Pi Qua Quan style he prepared for his next session of training. It wasn't going to be easy and he knew that, however he was going to need to master it if he wished to master his own style of fighting. He knew that his iron sand would not be able to protect him in ever battle and that he would have to have some line of last defense or offense for the battle. Calmly breathing and out he began his training, dashing forward with a controlled movement he swept his leg across and arched his arms around sending various strikes in all directions. Raijin was simply going to master his own flexibility and eventually his body with this style, something that was key for him to become a true shinobi.
Raijin had been moving for several minutes now. Beads of sweat had begun to roll down his brow as the blistering sun continued to beat down him as his movements intensified with each passing second. Pausing briefly as he panted for a few moments he knew he needed to continue if he wished to get some kind of actual lesson form his sensei. He wouldn't be ably to actually learn anything if he didn't first master this. Regaining control over himself he calmly closed his eyes for a brief moment and breathed inwards holding the breath for a brief second as he gained control over his chakra and darted his eyes open. Stepping forward and arching low his raised his hands upwards and struck into the air as if to launch an opponent for some combination that proceeded. Raijin had begun to understand the style well enough that he could somewhat improvise with the style now, showing his comfortable control of the stance and movements, a good sign in the mastering of this stage...

Bob watched him intently noting the amount of determination he has, "That's rather admirable... Perhaps if he keeps this up I may show him a trick or two" He mused watching the boy waiting to see if this seeming determined spur would dwindle with time.

Raijin had been training for nearly half an hour by this time. His outer jacket had long come off and his shirt was rolled down as he continued to work, obviously he was not sparring himself any time to regain himself as he looked exhausted. He continued working through the various movements, his flexibility was noticeably better, his strikes far smoother, and the strength of them stronger as well. Raijin had clearly been able to increase his abilities in this technique in the short thirty minutes he had been working, it was obvious that he was getting extremely close to mastering the second stage.
Pausing for a moment in his stance he began to look at a nearby tree. He panted heavily as he thought over the new prospect that had crossed into his mind. He was not happy about having to do all of these random strikes at the air with no one to actually test his combinations on, his attacks seemed so flawless when striking at pure air, but in all actuality they were far more susceptible to failure. Nodding to himself he decided that it was time to try on an actual target. He moved over to the nearby tree and re-assumed his stance at the front of it and focused calmly. For a split second he paused as the various strikes he would soon perform passed through his mind and the combination played through his head. After the half second pause his muscles tightened as the combination prepared to unfold.
He swept forward arching low and rotating his body around as his two palms swung into the tree each of them striking leaving a slight crack into the bark. Moving quickly he pulled back and kicked up his legs and slammed the right one into the side as he pushed off of it landing a foot or so away. Darting forward he ducked low and moved upwards hitting into the tree and causing more cracks to form. He watched this attack and stepped back feeling confident in his abilities. It was nothing unbelievable but it was obviously enough to signify that he was ready to move on to stage 3. Raijin turned and looked up to Bob and sighed, he decided that this was all the training he would get from him, the scroll. Moving over to the nearby scroll he sat down infront of it and began to catch little bit of breath he could while reading through it...

Bob sighed watching him finish the second stage, "Well go on you're not done yet" He said phlegmatically awaiting Raijin to hurry and finish his training so that Bob could get on to bigger and better things.

Raijin sighed deeply as bob once more gave him the simple and rather easy remark. At least he had dignified him with some kind of response as opposed to his usual simple glance. Moving to the scroll he began to read through it trying to figure out exactly what it was that he would be doing to improve his own abilities in the style. He had learned quite a bit for only an hour, perhaps more. He was fairly confident in his own abilities at this point and would wait a few moments and study this scroll far better than the last before he moved on to finally begin to learn his last stage of the taijutsu style. He remained calm as he picked up the scroll and began to read through the scroll knowing that he was close to learning some real techniques.
Lifting the scroll to his eyes he read through studying the ancient ways of the sunagakure pi qua quan style. He was fascinated as he understood the origins of the style reading through about the description of the movements. Similar to forms of tai chi the pi qua quan style appeared to be one of the most flexible and perhaps deadly of techniques as it allowed for the user to only become swift and flexible at dealing offensive blows, but also dodging ones that were being attempted to be dealt upon himself. Rai's respect for this style only continued to increase as he learned more and more about it's history and about those whom had mastered the style itself, it was impressive to say the least.
Raijin had already spent almost 5 minutes in studying the scroll and seemingly he had barely scratched the surface of studying the 3rd stage. It was clearly far more complex and more dangerous as well. Such a thing was extremely impressive to him, he regretted having thought so poorly of it earlier as he continued to read through the immense detail that was in the scroll showing him just how versatile and potentially handy the style would be. Focusing more the actual training techniques in this stage he read over some of the description of using weights or training under harsher conditions to help to create extreme focus and control of the user. He wanted badly to do this as he finished his reading and prepared himself to begin training the actual style.
Rising to his feet Raijin had read all that needed to on the style and was now ready to begin learning it. He calmly stood infront of the scroll and began mimicking some of the new techniques that were described in it as he looked back several times to try and get his bearings on what exactly it was he was trying to do. His constant movements were extremely slow at this stage in the training, he was only attempting to get the new fluidity and basic style down before he continued his training and actually began to learn the third style and implement it into something as difficult as a full length combination.
Stepping forward he rotated around and swung his arms upward before turning back and bringing them down again into two different strikes. Rai was clearly beginning to understand the basics of the movements as he was nearing the completion of his own basic step by step breakdown of the pi qua quan style. He had only been doing it for several seconds, but his style of learning was more than enough for him to truly understand the basis of the newest styles strength. He rotated around and ducked low, slowly springing to the left he lifted his leg sending a rapid kick before landing and then bending back as though to dodge an oncoming attack. His motions were fluid and relaxed, watching his body sway back and forth as though it were the waves crashing on the beach.
Moving around with a slowly increasing speed his ability to string together rapid combinations was obviously fairly impressive as he continued to perform his own techniques and weave and dodge past an opponent that wasn't there. Rai's fluidity and control was increasing ever so steadily meaning only one thing, he would soon be ready to truly begin the training. His prolonged practice session with himself would soon come to an end and his would be statue of a sensei would finally give him some words of wisdom and help him truly begin training.
Rai moved over to a small pack he had brought with him and calmly pulled out for large weight belts, each was roughly 35 pounds in weight and would be enough for him to train his abilities in this stage. He calmly wrapped the belts around his legs and his arms so that he could truly train his techniques. He looked at his arms feeling the weight of his arms and legs after he had added it on. He was definitely impressed by how different it was and he calmly began to retry some of the movements watching just how shaky his movements had now become he was rather irritated by this fact knowing that all the time he had spent practicing had been all for not.
Raijin once more started to practice the movements going through them slowly as he continued to learn the new and far harder third stage. It was almost like he had reverted back to stage one, the weights had created far more of a hindrance for him than he had previously estimated, but the scroll had most definitely been correct, weight belts were the best way to train. After this session Raijin would surely have mastered the third and final stage and he would be able to begin really training from there. He calmly continued his movements each second passing them growing swifter and smoother than the previous.
Raijin continued to move around, he was currently accentuating each movement so that he would be able to perform it better and enhance his own muscle memory of the style that way he would most definitely have it mastered. He calmly did this, making it appear as though he was moving in slow motion as he stepped back onto on foot and pivoted up onto his toes holding the position for a few seconds before turning and placing a leg out and bending low. As he did this he calmly stretched out an arm and lifted upwards lowering the other down assuming the basic stance and holding it for several seconds allowing his arms and legs to better adjust to the weights.

Standing there as though he were a statue he calmly remained in the basic pi qua quan stance. He had held it for several minutes now as his limbs to shake a bit from the the exhaustion of having to do this. He quickly released the position and continued stood back up preparing to do one final set of movements and see if he had most definitely mastered the final stage of this technique that he would be learning for today. Assuming the basic stance for only a movement he stepped forward ducking low and striking upwards, as he did this he quickly rotated and moved to the right pausing for a second as he darted forward like a predator attacking it's prey.
As he landed he nodded to himself and calmly removed the weight belts. Doing this he resumed to position and performed the same combination he had only seconds earlier seeing the improvement in his speed and control he smiled calmly to himself as he relaxed his hands and moved back to the scroll. Picking it up he rolled it back into it's original position and tossed it up to Bob. After this he moved over and picked up his shirt and replaced it on his body speaking " I have completed the stages listed on that scroll sensei..." he said calmly as he looked up at the man and awaited his response hoping that now they would actually begin training and Rai could finally learn some much needed ninjutsu...

His eyes looked up now staring deeply at Raijin, "Very well.... Is there anything in particular that you want to learn?" Bob said not sure of what this genin was particularly looking from him. Bob was adept with most techniques so he figured that he would be able to supply whatever this genin needed to advance in ability and knowledge.

Ken panted heavily and looked at his sensei and spoke " Well first... I would like to learn water walking and tree walking... and then perhaps some lightning techniques..." he said calmly as he looked at him and awaited his response wondering what exactly it was that he would say to this simple and yet rather intelligent request. The genin needed these skills first before he could learn others...

Very well... Walk on this... then proceed by climbing this... Simply focus a small yet steady stream of chakra to your feet whilst doing it" He stated before forming some hand signs and spitting out around 30 liters of water. The liters of water formed a small foot deep puddle roughly 10 feet in diameter. "It's not deep but that actually makes it harder... so yes you need only to focus chakra into your feet and you should be able to basically defy gravity. Same with tree climbing" He said with a sigh waiting for Raijin to begin.
