So the easter event is almost identical to last years.
Luckily they fixed things to reduce lag and errors with rewards and they even mentioned adding new things.
So far the eggs with prizes, golden egg, and hidden cheeps seem to be the only things in the event I can find, but the golden egg has updates to it which make it more useful then ever. You can destroy it with your group and everyone who took part in the battle, in your group or not, will get the items and achievement for it.
I hope there is more done for events that help out zOMG from dying.
I love this game, minor updates to it and its events are nice, I'm glad the staff are paying alil attention.

What you mentioned as an "update" to the GE is the exact same as last year. So it sounds like there was no update to the event at all. I'm completely okay with that, it's pretty much what I expected. Just don't tell me it's been updated when it hasn't.
The bug fixes make me happy. ^_^
