My favorite recent movie was 'Fall' (2022)
I found it in a walmart bin and for $5 it seemed worth it. It really was good. It has a twist ending that I didn't really see coming. Normally movies where they are trapped in a small area are super boring to me but this movie makes it feel more life and death, less trapped. It's one of the few movies that could keep my attention the entire time.
