Username: Vincent W Sinnet Character Name: Victor Sinnet Age: Appears to be in mid to late thirties. Race: Human Wizard Appearance: While the image of a Noir detective is what sticks in most peoples head when then recall the image of Victor Sinnet, there are a few defining features that are often overlooked. Mainly his complete lack of color, his hair is white, his eyes are gray in color and his skin is rather pale. He often stays bundled up in warm clothing hidden beneath a brown trench coat and his white hair is hidden beneath a brown fedora. Though he still has his white goatee showing off. Resident or Visitor: Resident Residence: Victor lives in a very small apartment that overlooks the park area of the Banesville city square. Personality: Victor is a take charge sort of guy. Often being the first one to act on a hunch or a gut instinct. He says it's because he's been around long enough to know to trust his gut feeling. Generally he's very polite though he will treat most people with suspicion especially if he is on duty. He speaks in a gruff tone and can sometimes be short with people especially in an emergency. But by listening to his words and watching his actions most people can discern his good intentions. Victor is the sort of guy who plays by his own rules and often doesn't take other peoples advice especially when he already has a plan. He has a bit of arrogance about him in the way that he always does his own thing. This also makes him come off as something of a loner, not to mention the fact that he doesn't spend a lot of time around people except for his job. To the observant person Victor doesn't really seem to have any friends. Bio: Victor's history before moving to Banesville county is completely shrouded in mystery. However his history in Banesville is actually quite common knowledge aside from a few details. Victor blew into town on during blizzard akin to the current one. He was gravely injured and taken to the hospital shortly after an officer of the law arrived. During his recovery he was visited by the officer who saved him. Victor learned much about the county he entered and even more about the condition of the police force. Just barely adequate for the county. He spent weeks in the hospital, however his injuries healed and rather quickly to the doctor's shock.
Afterward he spent a few more weeks in Banesville and he quickly learned that the place was a haven for the abnormal. Victor was shocked at how they managed to run wild yet suspicions were still low. By himself he tried to reign in the abnormal but found a lack of respect. Having a respect for the officers of the law, Victor joined the force and rapidly became a respected detective. While his position didn't earn any respect, his actions did. He dealt with many nuisances with enough force that they could be felt through the supernatural community yet with enough subtlety that the normal humans didn't even notice. His power is feared amongst troublemakers though he usually resorts to his physical prowess and expertise as a marksman. But as of late things have been getting worse. Abilities: Marksman and swordsman. Well versed with a handgun and a sword. Power: His power is unclear as he often doesn't use it. But for those who have seen it all they have been able to discern is that he uses an ancient magic that uses runes and circles drawn in an eerie green flame that Victor seems to be able to summon at will. He also possesses the ability to transport himself into an ethereal realm inhabited by spirits and other odd creatures.

Username: Vincent W Sinnet Character Name: Soun Odinstein Age: Appears to be in mid twenties. Race: Appears Human? Appearance: Soun stands tall and strong, his muscular body the envy of most men. He has long blond hair and deep blue eyes, square jaw and is generally what you would expect of a man of great strength. He is often found wearing heavy coats, often made of fur or with fur trim and dyed blue. Soun is about six foot five and weighs about two hundred and eighty pounds. Despite his strong body structure he often has a soft expression on his face and is always very relaxed making him an approachable sort of person. Resident or Visitor: Visitor Personality: The first thing about Soun is that he is apparently mute. He often communicates through gestures or sometimes writing when he needs to express a complicated thought. But he finds more pleasure in listening and acting when around other people. Despite the soft smile he might shoot you it is easy to see the ocean of sorrow in his deep blue eyes. Soun is a lonely soul who values companionship and is very easily hurt by other people. He can put on a smiling face but when Soun gets upset you can often find him loitering on the rooftops or in the mountains in the cold blizzard without regard for the conditions. Being so lonely and valuing companionship so much Soun will be the first to recklessly jump into action to protect someone he cares about. He will thrust his body into harms way to protect others and will fight to his last breath if he has to. Soun is often overly concerned about people and even if they can handle themselves he will still put himself in harms way to protect them. Even if they don't need it. Bio: Not a lot is known about the mute stranger who wandered into town a day after the blizzard started raging. He was a sorry sight, he had a look of extreme sorrow on his face. From what people had been able to gather Soun had experienced a great tragedy before happening upon the county of Banesville. They also found out that Soun crossed the country's border to the north, not many know much of the country beyond but Soun appears to be a native of that land. Whatever tragedy happened there, many have pity for the poor man but little else. Abilities: Stubborn. Soun can take a tremendous amount of bodily punishment and still trade blows even if it seems he shouldn't be able to. Especially if he's protecting a friend he can even fight past loss of consciousness. Power: Soun has extraordinary strength and appears to be able to manipulate energy in the form of electricity. Though this is only through observation.

Username: ScorpionsApprentice Character Name: Tanya D’Vordane Age: She appears to be about 22 years old. Race: Appears human Appearance: The markings on her arm are significant to note; they're not of any human design. Resident or Visitor: Resident [IF RESIDENT] Residence: She lives in the West District. Her home is a bit farther north than most cabins in the west district, and it lies about a quarter mile from one of the smaller mountains in the chain. It’s a modest place with a living room that has a magnificent fireplace, a bedroom up the stairs that also has a fireplace. There’s two small bathrooms (one connected to the living room, and the other in her room), and a simple office/reading room. There’s also one guest room on the first floor, though she doesn’t often have guests who sleep over. Personality: Tanya is very calm and calculating. She is always balanced in her decision-making, weighing all the pros and cons, all the different scenarios, and how much it would affect the chain of events to come from it. She always chooses the best solution for the people surrounding her, with heavy consideration for her own hard-comings as well. But in truth, other people come before her. She’s very genuine, and caring. In a place as cold as this, someone has to be warm-hearted, so she says anyway. She’s kind to everyone she meets, and never minds going that extra mile to help someone, or get them to smile. She is incredibly smart, and picks up on things very easily. She makes learning look like a breeze, and she’s far more perceptive than she comes off to be. There’s also something very strange about her, something that’s not quite right, but no one can put his or her finger on. She hears things, whispers in the dark. And she sees things that couldn’t possibly be real. She never comments or questions (out loud, anyway), but she can’t help but feel like something is going on around her. She can’t help but feel like she’s missing something vitally important. What it is though, she couldn’t begin to guess. Bio: Tanya used to live very far south; in fact, she was born in one of the hottest places in the world, right on the border of the equator. For her childhood, this is where she lived. Needless to say, she wasn’t used to the cold. She liked the sun, and tanned very easily. Her childhood was happy, and free of peril or burdens. Her parents were very loving, and always gave her the best they could. When she turned ten, her family moved. Her father was a police officer, and had gotten transferred to another district, so they moved farther north. The move was all right; she didn’t complain, but it wasn’t the same. The seasons in her new home changed constantly. She missed the heat of summer, but the fall was nice, and winter brought snow, which she had never seen before. It was one of the most beautiful sights she had ever seen, the world covered in a blanket of soft, cold white. Her first winter she fell gravely ill with pneumonia because she stayed out for too long, and didn’t realize the deadly effects the cold could take. After that, she was a bit apprehensive of winter, but as the forgiving soul she is, she gave it another chance. By her second winter, she started getting the hang of handling the cold. When she was 14, they had to move again. This time, it was because they went into a protection program, due to her father being an undercover man in a drug cartel chain. Farther north they went, and things got colder. Her family dynamic changed, and the love and warmth she knew began to erode. By the time she was 17, her family had split up, though they remained in the same house for 3 more years. Things were rough, but one person made it easier; her new boyfriend, Alex. They were together for two rollercoaster years; sometimes they were amazing, sometimes things were hell. Their relationship wasn’t a perfect one, but she loved him so much. It made her ignore the ticking bomb sitting in their laps. Their end was not a happy one, and it left Tanya with more scars than she had ever known in her life. At 19, she got a job waitressing. It gave her enough money, that after a year, she had enough to move out on her own. She stayed for awhile, to help her parents who were having severe issues. Then, her father got reassigned again (another dangerous undercover job). He moved away, and her mom wanted to move somewhere else; Tanya knew she didn’t want to follow either of them. She went her own way. To escape, she went as far north as she could, Banesville County. It was a frigid place, with not a lot of inhabitants…but at least it was quiet. She’s lived there for about a year now. She works at the lodge right in her district during the day. At night, sometimes she’s allowed to waitress and perform dancing at one of the night joints on occasion, but since the snow storm has picked up, she hasn’t gone back. She’s never seen a snowstorm as bad as the one plaguing them now. It’s beautiful, but a little frightening. She doesn’t mind much though; her three huskies help her get through the unmanageable snow. They keep her warm at night, and help her cart groceries and such around. Their names are Diego (he has crystal blue eyes), Sandstorm, and Kalliko (She calls him Kalli for short). As for the disappearance of Turnersville, well, she doesn’t talk about it much. It’s a topic she often speculates and questions, but won’t speak of or bring up. She isn’t involved, and won’t be rude by assuming what she doesn’t know, or prying into other’s business. She does, however, listen very intently to the gossip and small talk of everyone around her, especially at the lodge. Whatever she overhears, she keeps to herself, but it tends to paint pictures in your head that you draw your own conclusions of. And a eerily marked gravesite where a whole town used to lay doesn’t give you the best of conclusions. As for Victor, she hasn’t really talked to him much. He’s come to the lodge a few times, and she’s served him hot cocoa, or coffee on occasion, but other than that, he seems like a nice, quiet man in a quiet town. She knows there’s something odd about him, but she doesn’t mind. It’s not her place to judge, and so, she doesn’t. Abilities: She’s an exceptional dancer, a great waitress, and a good cook. She’s more perceptive than a human should be; feeling things stronger than she should. Her five senses seem like they’re in overdrive, and her gut feelings are so overwhelming, she usually has to listen to them. She's a very easy person to talk to, and often times people feel calmer and soothed just by conversing with her. Power: None that she knows of, yet.

Username: Zehawesome Character Name: Anthony Belmont Age: Appears rather young, perhaps in his mid-twenties. Race: Currently unaware, appears human...? Appearance: Anthony is rather tall, standing at six feet, two inches. Other than his height, a few things stick out to the watchful eye. First, his nails are slightly longer than your average males, and extremely sharp; they're almost like claws. And although it is not very apparent, the watchful eye will also notice his teeth slightly sharper than the average humans. However, not even the observant could see Mr. Belmont's unsightly scars hidden beneath his clothes. Most are large and are all over his torso, arms and legs. No need to worry, not all is ugly under that uniform, beneath the scars are toned muscles. After all, gotta be in the best shape to be in the military. Lucky him, only one scar is on his face, it overlaps his eye. A miracle he still has it. Resident or Visitor: Resident Residence: Anthony has only recently moved into Banesville, but owns an apartment in South District. He doesn't really use it often, though. Personality: Reserved, Contemplative, Loyal. Anthony isn't really a people person; however, this is not because he doesn't want to be. No, merely because he lacks the basic skills needed in a social environment. Often times when around his peers, he remains quiet unless spoken to. If he were to engage someone in conversation, it'd be rather hard to tell what he was really feeling. Again, not because he doesn't feel anything, but he just has trouble showing the emotions he feels. He's learning, give it time.
Another odd thing about Anthony, is his tendency to over-analyze every moment of his life. Why does he do this? Well, he's always trying to learn new ways to blend with his peers. On the same note, he likes to make sure he's never in any danger. One can never be too careful in a city such as Banesville. Knowing who friends are can help quite a bit. To those he considers friend, Anthony is a loyal, trustworthy ally. To his enemies, an extremely nosy nuisance. When he has someone tagged as hostile, he has his eyes, ears, and nose on constant alert. He'll know if they're up to no good; Call it a sixth sense or something, but he's just got that instinct.
Bio: Perhaps it would be easier to depict how Anthony got the way he was, if his background was clear. That's just it, though, it's not. He doesn't even remember it. What does he remember? Well, his oldest memory that he can recall traces back to about two months ago. It was the most confusing time in his life. He woke up one day in the middle of the forest with most of his clothes torn in several places. These tears on his clothes were not normal, it appeared as if some animal with gigantic claws just had a real good time hacking at him. His body was littered with wounds that seemed to heal. Of course, each wound left a nasty scar in it's place. When he finally came to and decided to inspect his surroundings, he saw multiple dead bodies, all who appeared to be wearing the same uniform as him. What happened here? Who knows? To his better judgement, he wasn't about to just stick around and find out.
Anthony then began to wander the forest aimlessly for a few days. He started to get hungry, very hungry. He needed food, but for some reason he didn't want to settle for the many pieces of fruit he found throughout the forest. No, he needed meat, fresh meat. Where would he find that in a forest? It's not like it would be laying around. No, he was going for the hunt. His nose picked up the scent of the natural wildlife that resided in the forest, and followed it. When he got near, his ears began twitching when he heard movement. Something was enjoying it's breakfast, though he couldn't see it just yet. When he finally arrived at the source of the smell, he found it was a herd of deer. There weren't many, only four or five, some were babies. He lunged at the group and they began running... but he was faster than them. He caught up to one of the older ones quickly and tackled it, stabbing his... claws into it's side? Then proceeded to... tear out it's throat with his fangs?
He wasn't sure who he was, what he was, where he was, or how he had these abilities, but he felt this instinct to hunt. For some reason he got an odd thrill when he killed the beast. It seemed to appease some sort of primal instinct in him. Hesitant at first, he stared down his catch, not really sure what to do... but then began to dig in(quite literally) into his bounty. This is when a search party came and found him. Guns at the ready, they weren't sure what was going on. Anthony turned to them, with blood dripping from his mouth and claws. They exchanged a few words with him, with a language that he seemed to recognize. They conversed and he agreed to go with the group.
When he arrived back at their headquarters, they gave him a new uniform to change into and time to rest. The next day, when he met with them, he discovered his name, Anthony Belmont. He also discovered that he was an officer in a secret division of the military that specialized in supernatural affairs. He apparently went off on a mission three weeks ago, and never checked back in. They found the rest of his squad dead and were wondering, how did he survive? Well, the answer became clear shortly after the incident when they put him back on duty. On his missions, he alone tracked every target down to it's roots without the use of their technology, and by the time everyone in his squad got there, the creature would already be on it's knees. It was obvious, he had become what they so passionately hunted. The division he worked for held a meeting about what they should do about the monster in their unit, and they came to the best possible conclusion. They decided to keep Anthony alive, after all, he was far more proficient in missions than the other soldiers, and as long as he didn't go a-wall, it'd be fine. Then the worst happened.
A month later from the incident, he was coming back from a mission with his squad when the full-moon appeared in the sky. He gazed at it, it sure was beautiful. After that, though, he can't remember. He does remember, however, waking up sitting in an interrogation room with his hands cuffed together by a rather large device. What happened? No clue, but his squad was dead. This was the second time his squad died on his watch, but this time without a scratch on him. He told them honestly that he didn't recall anything, and they knew that. They knew what he was and what happened. For one reason or another, they decided to keep him in the dark on the matter. After several days of interrogation they decided to let him off the hook, but from now on he would work alone. That's okay, he didn't need the others anyway. They assigned him to a town in the middle of nowhere that had undergone a mysterious snowstorm that won't let up. Apparently there's been some peculiar activity there, and he'd be the only one capable of surviving.
Within a few days of traveling by plane, and by foot, he finally arrived in Banesville. His first stop was at the police station to explain his situation and why he was there. He lied to them. Obviously he couldn't tell them about his unit or his unit's true objective, but he did tell them that he knew they were low on man-power and the military sent him in to help. Since moving into Banesville he has investigated Tumwater and met most of the locals. He is unsure what to say about what happened there, but is keeping his eyes and ears open for any information that comes in. Just like any of the other authorities he works with, he holds Victor in good standing. He is a decent man, and a hero to the people. Anthony has decided that he wants to help Victor in whatever way he can. The man seems like he knows what he's doing in this town, so why not learn from him?
Abilities: Anthonys only real powers come from his innate abilities. A few notable traits he possesses are his enhanced strength, and speed. In comparison to the average human, physically, he is far superior. On top of that, he is exceptionally agile. Even some of his senses seem to be far greater than that of a humans. Although his eyesight may be a bit lacking, his ears and nose are extremely sensitive. He can pick up a scent, or a sound, from miles away, and track it down to it's source.
Aside from any traits he has been graced with, he is exceptionally skilled in many forms of fighting. Being in the military he has been trained to the core and has tools for every kind of situation. Does he have any talents that don't pertain to fighting? Perhaps if he could remember his past, he could remember the little talents he once had. Maybe he'll rediscover them in Banesville? Only time will tell. Power: The full moon sure is beautiful...
