She couldn't explain it, nor was she able to find it. Hitting the scan button once again, the snake senshi frowns some as she looks around once more. No one in sight, yet it was plain as day the her screen. A power source that was stronger then she was. It made her slightly nervous that she was tracking this, but she couldn't actually see it with her own eyes.
Stepping out of the shadows for a moment, she eyes the street in which seem to be where the source was coming from. Did she honestly dare go check it out, of just turn the other direction. Part of her wanted to, but she wasn't going to. Least not today, anyways.
Peeking her head slightly around the corner, she chews on her bottom lip.

Like it or not, Europa was patrolling alone. She couldn't really explain how she kept winding up spending her nights running around the city by herself - she had plenty of friends! But here she was.
The senshi of the deep paused, tail ribbons drifting in the evening's light breeze, and pulled out her phone. It was becoming a habit - whenever she felt lonely, she checked the area for friends. Sometimes she saw blips pass through on the edge of the screen, but half a mile was a long way to go for someone you might not even know.
But this blip had been following her for a while, and now it was close. Europa bit her lip and flipped her phone back into hammerspace. She looked up and in the direction of the blip. "Is someone there?" she called.
This was going to be Kallichore all over again. Europa began walking towards where the map had said the other senshi was. "I saw you on the map, there's no point hiding," she said.

It was another senshi, and a powerful one. Serpentarius steps out of the shadows as she looks at the other senshi. Her cell in her hand as she gives a rather weak smile "Sorry, I didn't know I was tracking a senshi. I thought you might have been something else." lifting her hand to the back of her head, she shrugs some.
In less then a week, she managed to come across two powerful senshi. First Chaonis, and now this one. She couldn't help but wonder if she missed a memo about these powerful senshi.
Shaking her head, she drops both her hands to the side "Serpentarius, senshi of snakes. Could I ask, how did you get so powerful?"

Europa boggled at the blonde for a moment. It really was going to be Kallichore all over again, wasn't it? "The phones... only track senshi," she said slowly. Mild annoyance aside, she didn't mind having an eager student. So long as they got the you should really know this by now questions out of the way quickly.
Europa, for one, had better things to do with her night than explain the obvious. "The cats do it," she said, twisting her brooch between her fingers. She tried to put on a happier face for the other girl, quite aware that she was beginning to sound dismissive. "I mean, you have to get experience, they don't just hand it out like candy..."
She searched for an appropriate metaphor.
"Have you ever played Pokemon?" Yes, that was roughly appropriate. "You level up a lot, and then you evolve."

"Like Charmander becoming Charmeleon. Alright I think I get it." So in order to get to the next level in powers, she would have to work for it. Alright, she could do that.
Serpentarius found herself blushing at the rather silly questions she was asking. She also felt bad for the other senshi, as she could see this probably wasn't the first time she has had to do this.
"Sorry about all these questions. Still rather new to this, well for the most part." she thought about the cat she met, Chloe. That was rather interesting to say the least.
Glancing around, she pause as she chew on her bottom lip "It would seem I disturbed you while on patrol. Maybe we can kill to birds with one stone. I patrol with you, and you can possibly help me understand the whole senshi life?"

Europa liked this idea - it was always good to get both done at once, after all! "You've got the hang of jumping, right?" When the other scout confirmed that she did, in fact, understand the basic concept of leaping tall buildings in a single bound, Europa took a running jump onto the roof of the brownstone beside them.
She leaned over the edge of the roof and motioned for the other scout to join her. "Walk and talk," she said. "Run and chew bubblegum. Okay. Let's go. I make a lap of the park, then circle back through it before I head home."
They started on their way. Europa turned to the other scout as they jogged, eager to figure out what exactly she was working with. "So, what's your experience so far?" she asked. "When were you awakened? And - oh, you can ask me anything. Really."
If she didn't know the answer, she'd do her best to make one up.

Serpentarius did indeed know how to jump the tall buildings. Bending at the knees, she uses the pavement like a spring board as she leaps up at the building next to the one Europa was on. Kicking off with her feet, she lands next to Europa rather unsteady for a moment.
Giving her a smile, she jogs after her as she fell quiet for a moment. How did she explain she been a senshi for awhile. Shaking her head, she decided best not to mention it "Not long ago actually. A cat name Chloe woke me up." she thought back to that day, only to shake her head.
"Um...I have battle a couple of youmas. Also came across two Negaverse people. One I stopped from stealing a starseed from a senshi by the name of Sailor Polaris. The other nega was stalking me. That ended with us having to run from the cops." she wasn't sure if she had enough experience, but she was holding her own for the most part at least.
"How long have you been a senshi?"

Europa clapped her hands and grinned considerably at the mention of the cat. "Oh, I know Chloe!" she exclaimed. "I mean, she awoke me, I haven't seen her in, um, forever? And you met Polaris? She's a friend of mine!" Europa was positively beaming now. Senshi Geography was one of her favorite games.
Europa chewed her lip as she tried to count back. It had been October, hadn't it? But of 2009... Well, a little over... "A little more than a year and a half," she answered. "I got in pretty early, but not the earliest." There were plenty of senshi who'd come in before her, but if you did the math probably more who'd come in after.
"But I just hit Eternal a few weeks ago. You know, um," she gestured to her skirt, then to her considerably impressive buttbow. "Frills of power and wings growing off your backside? That's recent."

A year in a half...
They were actually close in how long they been senshi. Serpentarius nods as she looks ahead of her for a brief moment. Okay so she knew at least a few people who knew Europa. This was kindof a good thing then, at least the fact she brighten up gave her the idea of it being a good thing.
Looking at her own rather large silver buttbow, she found her nose wrinkling up "Will I end up with something like that? That is, if I get to that stage." she really hope she did.
"So, do the powers grow stronger as you grow? Or do they stay the same?" she knew her power was to stop people. And she seen what a few others can do, but she never actually seen anything beyond the regular senshi power.

"All the Eternal Senshi I know have them," said Europa with a shrug, giving her wings a pat. She was kind of starting to like them, now that she was used to them. And the jellyfish streamers, too. Those were nothing new from her last upgrade, but they were bigger this time. More impressive. Whoever said size didn't matter was lying.
She raised an eyebrow at Serpentarius. "Of course you get stronger! What, you thought it was just new clothes?" That would be... sort of useless, right? "The first time it just kind of makes your attack stronger, but the second time... well, I think it can be something completely unrelated."
Like, she didn't understand how making Youma attack each other related to the deep, but she hadn't tried it on a Negaverser yet. That might have a different effect entirely.
Suddenly, she smacked a gloved hand to her forehead. "Oh my god, I'm sorry, I never introduced myself! Eternal Sailor Europa, senshi of the Deep, at your service!"

Serpentarius found herself chuckling as she gives Europa a warm smile "A pleasure to meet you Europa." she glance around, pausing only for a moment to make sure she didn't see or hear anything. When she was sure everything was fine, she turns her attention back to Europa.
"Kindof, I haven't actually seen anyone outside myself and one other senshi, use their power. So yes, I did assume it was just a new clothing attire." the final attack was something completely unrelated to what she could do now. Now that was rather interesting. She couldn't help but wonder what she would do as she got stronger. If it was anything like what she could do now, but stronger, she felt sorry for the negaverse person the attack was for.
"If you don't mind me asking. Your the Senshi of the Deep, so what are your powers?"

"Pressure, More pressure and dark and bioluminescence, make things wig out and attack themselves," rattled off Europa, counting them on her fingers. "No water, surprisingly, Europa being the ocean moon of Jupiter and all." Now that she really considered it, she kind of really wished she had the ability to drench things. But oh well, maybe next life. (Did reincarnation work like that? What powers had her past self in the Silver Millenium have? She couldn't remember.)
"Basically," she sighed with a weary grin, "I make things stop in their tracks and then I beat the s**t out of them. Sometimes they beat the s**t out of themselves for me."
She leaped a gap between rooftops, turned, and waited for Serpentarius to join her.
"What about you, senshi of snakes?"

"No water at all, that is rather confusing." she thought for a moment about her cousin. Wasn't she also named after one of Jupiter's moons? She would have to ask her later about that.
Stepping onto the ledge, she kicks off as she jumps the gap between the buildings. Landings this time just a few inches in front of Europa.
Serpentarius eyes seem to light up as she claps her hands in front of her "Something similar to yours actually. I create a snake then when it sinks its fangs into a person, the venom causes them to slow then stop for about forty-five seconds. Giving me some time to attack, or another senshi to attack." she frowns as she remembers that she only able to do this once though, so being alone during a fight, she found this to be bad.
"I can only do it once though it would seem. I've try to use my power twice, and actually failed. That wasn't pretty to say the least." pulling her cell phone out, she figured while they paused it would be a great time to grab Europa information.

"You should take some self-defense classes," nodded Europa. It had worked for her. "I know forty-five seconds seems like a blink of an eye, but damage you do then can be the difference between life and death."
She couldn't help but be jealous, though - she usually only got about thirty seconds when she'd been on Serpentarius's level.
Europa posed obligingly for cell-phone scanning, then flicked hers out and did the same. "At least you know how this thing works, right?" she asked, gesturing with the phone. "You're already lightyears ahead of Kallichore."
Hopefully, the powers that be would forgive the space pun. She couldn't help herself.

Giving Europa a chuckle, she arches a brow as she lowers her phone for a moment. "You know my cou--" she stop before she coughs some. Even if Europa was on their side, that still wasn't something she should give away "You know Kallichore? She was partner while patrolling." good coverup, at least she hope it was.
"Self defense classes, I hadn't really thought of that. It might be a good idea. I know how to fight, but mostly punching and kicking." she made a note to check out some classes over summer break.
Looking down at her cell again, she nods some before she laughs "Only because I started testing everything out on it. I will admit though, I still don't understand the center button. I click it, but nothing happens." with a rather defeated sigh over that. She looks back up to Europa "So when did you meet Kallichore?"
