In this room, many movies have been watched and discussed. A ceiling-mounted projector, a large silver screen are the only remnants of the purpose that the room used to have as a movie viewing/discussion room. The only other reminder of what was is a shelf of various media and a small machine that the projector was wired into that seems to accept anything from film reels, to videotapes, to DVDs, to Blu-Ray... Just not Beta-Max. Nothing plays that. It is still possible to watch movies, but now the room has been renovated into a library with the intent of quiet study.
Here book shelves line every wall and rows further divide the room into segments narrow enough that some might feel a bit cramped passing through. This is where all the books that don't go in any of the other rooms can be found, as well as a card catalog detailing where in the guildhouse other books can be found.

Nana was always fond of reading. As she walked into the room, she ran her hands along the spines of the books, not even bothering to look at the card catalog. She pulled a familiar title from the shelf and opened it, almost purring at the smell of the paper. All libraries smelled the same after a while. Old books, lots of love, and peace and quiet. She moved to a comfortable chair and started to read, letting the familiar flow of words ease her.

After a few hours, she made a mental note of where she was in the book and placed it back on the shelf. She adjusted her outfit and headed back to her barracks, not bothering with dinner for the night. Nana changed into something comfortable to sleep in and crawled into her bed. Lying in the darkness with her hand over her heart, she listened to the quiet, and let that give her peace.

After a quick stop at the bar for coffee, Nana was back in the library, the same position from the night before. The book in her lap, and her bent over to enjoy the story once more. She hadn't stopped thinking about the library all night, it her current fascination. All these books, and no one to read them. It was a personal challenge, at best.

A bunch of shadows suddenly started leaping from their sources and merged at the entrance of the library. Forming the figure of Rhapsodius. "I wonder if I will find what I am looking for here.." he mumbled to himself, oblivious of the other girl in the room as he stepped towards a nearby shelf and started glancing through the titles.

Nana cleared her throat softly as she watched Rhapsodius walk in, and gave him a smile. If he didn't want to talk, she wouldn't bother him. It was a place of study, after all. She adjusted in her seat and pushed a lock of hair behind her ear, going back to the story at hand.

"Damn.. not here either.." he said frustratedly as he put a book back in it's shelf. "Oh forget it.." he mumbled as he dissipated into the shadows.

Nana gave an idle thought, wondering what Rhapsodius could have wanted, but shrugged it off. Instead, she marked her place mentally and set the book back. It was getting close to time to eat, as her stomach was telling her. So with an adjustment of her jacket, she moved to the door and left the library, which was quickly stealing her heart, to it's lonesome for now.

Rhapsodius quietly eased the door of the library open and stepped in quietly. "I wasn't able to find what I was looking for last time but maybe now I'll have better luck.." he mumbled as he stretched out his hand and the shadows in the room bristled. "Come serve me." he said in a quiet but powerful voice. The shadows of the room left their sources and gathered in front of him. "I'm looking for a certain book, and you will find it for me." he said as he stepped through them "Now go." he said as they dispersed and immediately flew through and around the bookshelves while he went and sat by a desk. "To think I could barely summon a shadow when I first arrived here.. I guess I've gotten more and more used to this place."
It didn't take long before the shadows gathered back in front of him and the shadow of what seemed to be a lamp trotted up to him carrying a rather large old black book with silver bindings on top of it's head. "Thank you.." he said in a low voice as he stood up and said in a louder voice. "That will be all.. Disperse!" he said as he sat back down and the shadows returned to their sources. The library was quiet again. "I hope this holds the answers I seek.." he thought as he blew some of the dust off the cover of the book revealing the title. It seemed to be in some kind of ancient runes but somehow he understood them. It roughly translated as World of the Shadows.

After being sequestered in the cinema for nearly the whole day, having left only to get food, Tinuviel was feeling rather frustrated. She had expected that since the two weren't in a public library that they would have been better able to converse, but instead, the day was more quiet than it would have been in their normal surroundings. When the fourth film ended, Tinuviel rose from her chair, cleared her throat so that Kromli would pay attention to her, and said in as gentle of a tone as she could muster given the strange day she had, "Did I do something to upset you?"

Kromli blinked a few times, thinking, and couldn't come up with anything. He was no expert on women or conversing with women, but he felt fairly certain while he didn't think she had done anything wrong, it was fairly certain that she felt that he had, but he had no idea what, or how to deal with it. He knew this was a bad idea and that he was sure to screw things up somehow.
Without meaning to, he audibly gulped, and tried (and failed) to keep the rising intonation out of his voice, but his answer was very clearly still a question, when he gave a somewhat drawn out, "No?"

While Tinuviel accepted his answer, she still felt that there was some sort of misunderstanding between them and sought to clarify. "Okay...well, I guess I just thought that things would be different? I don't want you to misunderstand. I really enjoy our time studying together. To be honest, you're my best friend. Probably my only friend. But I feel like there's some disconnect. We talk about studying and basic chitchat, but lately that's about it. And, if you just want to be study partners, I understand. I'm sure there are lots of people here with whom you'd rather spend your time, but just tell me, okay?" She said all of this quite hurriedly, as though if she paused to collect her thoughts or take a breath, she would somehow be unable to continue. Once her thoughts had been placed on the table, she inhaled and waited to see if Kromli completely hated her or thought she was crazy. She desperately hoped neither was the case, but she expected at least one of the outcomes.

"No," he said. "Actually, my only friend here is Matasoga. I talk to Yinzar, too. I would talk to the others but Finteus is always in his labyrinth and kind of scares me and Umadbro... He's really vulgar and doesn't seem to like me... Or anyone else."
"I want to spend time with you," he went on. "But... I don't know how to entertain people."

"I'm surprised that no one else would realize what an interesting person you are. I'm actually sorry to hear that."
"And as for knowing how to entertain, I think you normally do fine. Today you were just really quiet, so I thought maybe something was bothering you. Just promise to tell me if that's ever the case, okay?" She smiled weakly, hoping that things were all right between them.

Kromli didn't know, for the very life of him, what he had done differently today that he hadn't done any other time. Maybe she didn't like movies? He was terrible at double-talk. Whatever the case, he didn't see what he might say now other than, "Uh... Sure."
