You've found yourself in the archives, the final resting place of dead discussion transcripts and other records. There is the sound of something dripping in a distant corner and the faintest sound of scratching probably coming from a vent. Only the faintest hint of mildew is detectable, with old, yellowing paper being stronger. In the room which is faintly illuminated in a pale, yellow light coming from a bare bulb in the center of the ceiling, you find many shelves filled with folders and a few cardboard boxes, all with a coat of dust on their surfaces... But it seems strangely empty, for a guild as old as this one. It's as though something is happening to the rest of the old threads, but there's nothing else here, it would seem...
A door on the far wall leads to a closet-like room.
This room, much like the archives, houses records that are more frequently visited. The small room, not much larger than a large closet, simply contains a filing cabinet, only one or two shelves of which were used. There is less dust and no mildew smell, unlike the archives and there seems as though there's been a bit more traffic (or at least more attention paid) than the archives.
There's not much here, unless you're perusing guild records or want a small and quiet place for a private discussion.
