*Shock Wave - The user strikes the target with a quick jolt of electricity. This attack cannot be evaded.

*Poison Jab - The target is stabbed with a tentacle or arm steeped in poison. It may also poison the target.

*Hex - This relentless attack does massive damage to a target affected by status problems.

Personality:

Strengths:
Daiki is the ultimate team player. A veteran of the multi-style battles, he's learned to adapt his own style to compliment that of his partner(s). He knows how to use his ellusive insincts and perceptive skills to vanish into crowds and surroundings, sometimes even while in battles (misdirection, kizeme, feint).

Weaknesses:
Due to his lack of presence and quiet nature, Daiki is a very easy person to ignore and forget about. Interaction with others usually requires going out of his way to be noticed, which does not sit well with his personality. He is weak individually and relies heavily on the strength of his partner(s) to help him move forward.

History:

Daiki had never had problems with humans when he was small. He, like the rest of his kind, was an expert at remaining out of sight and out of mind. Even when he wasn't in the safety of the underground, mazelike nests of his family, no one seemed to notice him. If they did notice him, they didn't try to catch him; Daiki would receive an odd look or two, but no one tried to chase him.

No one cared about a tiny little Dunsparce like him.

But that did not remain the case. Daiki still didn't have a problem with humans, but he was no longer able to hide from them. He'd been caught by a trainer, the old sensei at a dojo far from the Johto region where Daiki had grown up. The man, called Isao, had been traveling in search of inspiration to help his dojo and students.

That inspiration came in the form of a little Dunsparce, barely visible among the rocks of Dark Cave.

Daiki wasn't disappointed or frustrated by his new life. In fact, he adored it. His elderly trainer gave him just as much attention as the other Pokemon in his party. He loved the traveling and happily adapted to that life. Battling was different from what he was used to, but Isao was a patient, loving teacher, and Daiki was eager to please.

After a year or so, the elderly trainer finished his journey, introducing Daiki to yet another new way of life--life in the dojo. It was at this first meeting that the Dunsparce had a problem with a human. One of Isao's students was outraged that his master had traveled for so long, only to bring back a pitiful Pokemon like Daiki.

"Sensei, that couldn't even beat a Magikarp!"

Isao had just laughed and challenged his skeptical student to a battle--a double battle, to be precise. It was a battle Daiki would never forget. His partner was a Scolipede, a colossal Pokemon that would not--could not--be ignored. Their opponents were equally intimidating: a Salamence and Hariyama combo. The Dunsparce looked at his trainer, giving a happy wiggle when he saw his human nod.

The usual route. The one Isao had trained him to perfect.
Daiki burrowed into the ground and disappeared from view. He quickly dug through the ground between the fighting pokemon, then tunneled his way over to where the opposing pokemon were stationed. He waited, unseen and unnoticed, until the Hariyama crashed through the unstable ground in the middle of the field.

"Daiki! Now!"

Poison Jab, followed by Hex. Dig again. Drill a hole near Salamance. Use Shock Wave from underground. The strategy hadn't failed them since they mastered it. This unique style of fighting Isao had created for him suited the Dunsparce perfectly. And, as usual, they overtook the trainer that underestimated them.

Things went rather smoothly after that first, astonishing victory at the dojo. Most of the students simply gained even more respect for their Master Isao; many began developing unique techniques for their own Pokemon combinations. All in all, life was good.

Until Isao became ill.
