It had been a little over a week since Shun had returned and Mitsu really wanted to get a chance to spend time with him and hang out. She had collaborated with Bent and finally they came up with the idea of Karaoke. It wasn't something she was too familiar with but it sounded kind of fun. From the sounds of it they would be renting a room or something like that so it would be private as compared to singing in front of a lot of random people. Mitsu had never really sung before...at least outside of a shower or humming a random tune, so she really wasn't all the sure on her voice, but at least it would be just Shun and Bent.
Mitsu had come back late from a visit to school and a certain scientist but was quick to get ready for the evening. After she threw on a fresh set of clothes and grabbed her wallet and phone, she headed back out the door and toward the boy's dorm. Hopefully the boy's would be ready to go once she got there.

While he was glad to be back for the most part, Shun was a bit reluctant to go with this little outing the others had set up. He really wanted to be able to spend time with them but at the same time... Kareoke? Really? Well they seemed eager, so he didn't turn them down. Maybe it wouldn't turn out too bad.
After grabbing his things, he made his way to their meeting point on campus. Over his left eye was now the patch that Mitsu had made for him, though that wasn't the only change that had happened. His hair was now somewhat shorter and kept spiked up.
Bent-Tail was already at the meeting point and he couldn't help but grin at the assassin as he saw the guy approach. He had taken care of all the things needed for their excursion so all that was needed was for them to get there and start having some fun. The rat also had some backup plans on how to get Shun to be more cooperative while they were there as well.

Evening was well on its way but thanks to the coming summer months the sun was out longer leaving plenty of daylight. It was warmer too though Mitsu found she rather missed the colder months. The cold temperatures had been rather soothing somehow.
Making her way down the walkway to their meeting point she spotted Bent-tail up ahead. Raising her hand in greeting she quickened her pace as she headed over. "Hey. Have you seen Shun yet?" She was glad they had managed to talk the assassin into going out. The week had been rather rough for her, the hint of dark circles under her eyes being the proof, and the ...well the month if not longer had been rough for Shun. So they both needed a break and a chance to have some fun.

"Eya Mitsu," grinned the rat as he saw the girl come up. As she asked if he had seen Shun at all, he motioned over towards the approaching boy not too far off. He also waved at him for good measure.
Shun waved to the two in return and he was wearing his usual neutral expression... with a hint of softness whenever he looked towards Mitsu. Once he was over by them, he placed his hands into his pockets and looked to them both individually.
"Well, now dat we're all 'ere, shall we get goin'?" Bent chirpped.
"I guess," the assassin replied a little flatly.

Mitsu turned when Bent motioned behind her, waving at the approaching assassin with a warm smile starting to tug at her lips. His new hair style was taking a bit to get used to, she barely recognized him with it being so short and spiky, but she couldn't say she didn't like it. It also looked like he was wearing the eye patch she had made. She had done her best to make it comfortable since he would be wearing it a lot.
"Yeah, I'm ready," Mitsu nodded as they headed down the path that would take them off school grounds and into town. She stayed close to the two as they walked, keeping pace with their strides, every once in a while glancing up at Shun. He seemed a little reluctant but hopefully he would come around.
"So have you ever been to karaoke before?" Mitsu asked.

Following after the other two, Shun glanced over at Mitsu for the question.
"..Sort of. I've gone to them before and watched the others do it," he replied. It wasn't easy getting him to sing. It was already hard enough to get him to play his guitar with other people around outside of class.
"Well ye ain't gonna just sit there 'n wotch dis time around," Bent grinned while glancing back at the assassin, "Ye'd do it f'Mitsu right?"
Shun didn't answer that. If she really wanted him to... he suppose he could.

Mitsu looked rather excited. "Oh, please say you'll sing. I'll try too....I...just hope I don't sound horrible." At least Bent and Shun wouldn't make fun of her if she did. She was pretty sure they wouldn't anyway.
"Maybe we can sing one together?" She offered, though she wasn't sure Shun would want to sing anything she had heard.

"... Maybe," Shun said in regards of whether he'd sing or not. That was all he offered for that. At the mention of a duet type thing, he glanced over at her again, thinking about that. There was some appeal to that idea, but he much rather played his guitar along her piano than sing still.
"Dun worry Mitsu, dat means yes," Bent-Tail grinned while shooting a cheeky look at the boy. It warranted a bit of a wary glare from Shun but he hadn't said anything in response to that.
Before too long they were at the place. The rat went up to the desk to confirm their reservation and whatnot and they were soon lead into one of the rooms and given a brief explanation of how to work the machine. There was the tv at one end, some microphones, tamborines, and several books listing all the songs they had. There was also the menus set on the table for when they wanted to order food and drink.
"Nice place ain't it?" Bent said while looking around, "D'ye guys wanna order some stuff now or wait a bit? We got a couple 'ours in dis room so no rush 'n stuff. Could always add more time later if needed too."

"Maybe?" Mitsu looked a little deflated when it didn't seem like Shun wanted to participate. She had hoped he wound...and that this outing wouldn't turn out as badly as their last. He had disappeared after that one after all.
Though, Bent gave her a little bit of hope with his follow up, a slight smile still on her face. She wanted to hear him sing. It seemed like he was going to once before...but Nyx had walked in and he had come to a stop.
When they were finally at the Karaoke place Mitsu took everything in the best she could. She had never been to a place like this before so it was a completely different experience. It wasn't quite what she expected.
"Oh, we should get some snacks." Mitsu said heading over to the menus sitting on the table. "Do you guys what something to drink? They have mixed drinks that don't have alcohol. They sound tasty." She pointed out.

Taking a seat on the couch, Shun glanced over at the menu from afar and shrugged.
"Sure, sounds fine," he said, not really caring what they got.
"Oooh dis stuff does sound tasty," Bent added while grabbing one of the menus, "Maybe we can get a small pizza t'share? T'go along wit de drinks I mean. Go a'ead and get wotchu want, Mitsu."
Putting the menu down for a moment, he sifted through one of the song books to see what they had here. There was a large variety of different songs listed from various genres and ages.
"Ey Shun, why doncha start us off?" the rat suggested while holding the book out. All that got was a hard stare in return, "Aight aight. Ye dun 'ave t'go first. But ye will be singin' sooner or later."

With a nod Mitsu looked over the toppings menu carefully for their pizza. As one would expect from a wolf she liked a lot of meat on her pizza....and a lot of meat was what she ordered. When she finally got everything together she placed the order before taking a seat back at the table.
"What do you think I should sing? I've never really....sang before." Mitsu admitted a little nervously. Perhaps they would have a suggestion for a beginner to try.

At that question, both Bent and Shun had to think on it a bit. Both were rather curious what her singing voice was like. She was quite the musical type, but they never really heard her attempt to sing anything in particular before.
"Whatever you'd like really," Shun said, "What are some songs you really like? They probably have it in here."
"Aye. 'Eere, ye can take a look through it if ye'd like. Tis sorted by artist 'n genre," Bent-Tail chimed in while offering her one of the books, "Surely ye'd find somethin' ye'd wanna sing."

"Hmm," Mitsu had to think. What did she like? "I like lots of stuff." She said as she took the book when it was handed to her. "Is there anything you would prefer not to hear?" Maybe that was the better question. She didn't want to pick a song Bent and Shun disliked.
"What do you think you'll sing?" She asked Bent, hoping he would be the one to start everything off. She was still a little too nervous to go first.

Bent-Tail was already sifting through songs when Mitsu asked him what he'd sing. It was a good question really. There were so many choices!
"Hmm... I t'ink... dis will do," he said to himself before grabbing the remote to input toss the first song into the queue. In a few moments, the machine loaded it up with the title "Holiday by Green Day". The music began and the rat began to sing along to the words as they came onto the screen. He... wasn't the best singer by any means, but it wasn't intolerable.
In the meantime, Shun continued to sit back on the couch, just watching the others for now.

Mitsu paused in her search for a moment when Bent-tail started to sing. She was enjoying the song until she noticed that Shun wasn't really looking for anything to sing. So in an effort to get him to participate Mitsu pushed the book his way. From her short search she had an idea what she was going to try first, though she had only heard the song a few times.
"Pick something?" She asked quietly so she wouldn't interrupt.
