Dionysus was sitting on the lawn just behind the university building all the cats lived in. He was cleaning his violin up and was excited. Everyone was supposed to be meeting here to get together for lunch and to talk. It wasn't often that they all got together as a whole anymore. He yawned and shook out his hair. He was in a blue long sleeved shirt but the sleeves were pushed up and folded around his elbows. He had on some dark jeans and gloves with no fingers on. He had tried to get his hair to behave for him today, sure that his mother would fuss over it.
He had his violin next to him cause he was hoping to play for them today if they would let him. He had a small tray of cookies that he had gotten from his Aunt Ara when he had run into her on his way here. He looked around excitedly and hoped they would be here soon! He only saw his dad for training and that wasn't really as often as he wanted. He looked around and wondered how long till they started showing up.

Jiji could see the far most buildings of the University, it was a fairly warm day and the family he had built had all planned on a lunch together. Between Jiji's work in the Anbu, training the boys, Nyx with her dancing and teaching Ma-ku and whatever seemed to always pop up, about the only time they all got together was when they slept and sometimes even then Jiji was absent due to his duties. It wasn't easy and could even be quite stressful on the young couple. Sometimes Jiji even still wondered if they were ready to really be raising a family; Nyx and himself were still fairly young and had a lot ahead of them. But the kittens came first above all else and the both of them agreed they deserved the best that they could give them at all times. He held his son's ankles at his chest as he went, thankful of the usual clothing he wore which was durable, but light-weight and breathable. He felt bad for his son, he tried so hard, but he was still fragile, just like his mother.
Shinda sat on his father's shoulders, his arms folded on top of Jiji's silver head. His head rested within his arms as he sniffed. Upon leaving the edges of East's forest he'd tripped over a root sticking up and he'd fallen and skinned his knee. It had hurt terribly and when it started to bleed it was just a bit too much for him and he'd started to cry. He knew if he wanted to be strong like his daddy he had to be tough. His father as understanding and loving as he always was had picked him up and cleaned off his knee and bandaged it. His father was far from a healer, but Ishtar being his his brother-in-law and somewhat adopted brother of sorts he'd learned a few things from him. His knee still stung a bit and throbbed, but it did feel better. With his leverage he could see further ahead than his father, but for some reason his left eye seemed to go blurry sometimes and it made it somewhat hard to see and it seemed to be getting slightly worse, but it didn't plague him too much. His Momma wore glasses, so maybe he would too. Rubbing his eye a little he looked ahead as they grew steadily closer and the buildings rose up around them. His fluffy tail wavering back and forth slightly with his father's footsteps.He could just see his brother up ahead and smiled a bit and pointed. "Dad, I see Dio!" he said, wiggling a little.
Jiji smiled as Dio came into his line of view. "So it is! I wonder how much longer your mother will be, I don't see her or your sister. They must be running late." he said with a slight shrug, made a bit hard by Shinda's weight.

Nyx and Ma-Ku were very much running late. After yet another dance lesson that Nyx tried hard to make interesting and Ma-Ku complaining through the two were changing out of their dance clothes. Nyx was finished first and tied up the calicos grey and pink hair in a bun to keep it out of her eyes. Ma-Ku sulked slightly as she did so while Nyx hummed quietly to herself. "Mama I told you already, I'm not good at dancing!" sh complained, her arms folded and her face crossed. Nyx sighed. "Sweetheart you don't have to be good, I simply want to teach you to dance. You father teaches you how to fight and I want to teach you something too. Plus maybe you're just not good at ballet? Please just keep trying." Nyx asked her daughter with a sigh. She finished tying up her hair and Ma-Ku hopped up, raring to go outside. "Mama come oooooon. We're going to be late!" she complained, her ears flicking with annoyance. Nyx gathered up her and her daughters stuff and got ready to go. "Ma-ku don't forget your flute!" she exclaimed, before picking it up and handing it to her daughter. Ma-Ku ran ahead and Nyx walked behind her, her pink eyes watching her daughter carefully. Ma-Ku ran up seeing her father and brothers already there. "Mama I told you we were late!!" she yelled back before running up to her father, giving him a big hug. "Daddy, Mama is being a slow poke! That's why we're late!" she complaining, her small lips pouting.

Dio smiled and stood happily when he saw his father coming. Of the three of them he was more prone to spending time away from his parents. His father being busy and his brother taking after their mother a little and his sister with learning to dance. He watched them walk up and then smiled as he ran to hug his father around the middle. "Hello father. Hello Shinda! I'm glad you guys got here soon. Mother and Ma-Ku are always rather late arnt they." he said as he sat back down next to the food basket that he had brought with him. "I brought some snacks." he said happily as he curled his fluffy tail into his lap.
Looking up he saw his mother and sister coming over from the dance area of the school. "Oh look there they are!" He said with a smile as he waved at his mother and his sister. "Bout time you both got here! Was wondering if this was just going to be a our time together." Dio said with a smile as he stood to hug his mother.
