 Enjoying each day as she learns of her daughter trying to find someone to keep close. Smiling at the thought as her tail flicked by her side. She was resting peacefully by the pond's edge. She would often gaze over to see the ducklings swimming with their mother and the dragonflies flying over the surface. "Such a wonderful day..." She said with a light purr as she closed her eyes. She enjoyed the sunlight against her dark purple fur. Looking up at the clouds as a light breeze began to blow. A butterfly flew past her ears, heading on its way to a flower not too far off. "Kimun... Where could you be?"

[color=#9966CC][/color]  As he did every day, Kimun was busy working. It was a hard job, but so rewarding in his mind. The Yoshi loved working with wood and creating beautiful pieces for others. The greatest joy that came from this was providing for his love and making sure his children had a place that they could be proud to come home to. He knew one day that they would be bringing home their own mates and he wanted it to be a place they wouldn't be ashamed for their significant other to see. Most important to him, though, was making sure Angelique had a wonderful place to call her home.
The poor fellow was in the dark as to how his childrens' love lives were, mostly still thinking of them as his little ones from time to time... or was it that he didn't want to think of them as grown up yet.
After looking at the clock Kimun wiped the sweat off his forehead. "Time to get home. My poor Angel hasn't seen me in a few days because of work. Goodness knows I miss her." With that he gathered up a special surprise he had been working on for her and headed home, now anxious to see Angelique.

Angelique stretched out her wings as she stood to her feet. She stretched out her legs, digging her claws into the grass. She loved how it felt on her paw pads. "Mon amie should be home soon. Best to wait for him there." She said with a purr as she trotted off towards their home. She was happy that Kimun had been bringing home many wonderous things, but she missed him dearly. She flapped her wings and was off into the wind.
After arriving back to the house, Angelique decided to make him a quick dinner. She felt like enjoying some shrimp alfredo with some fresh bread sticks and a bit of wine. She loved to cook and spoil her love, but never could get over the smell of food. It was home to her and her kits.

Kimun made his way up to the bit of land their home was on, glad to have his house in his sights. He set down the surprise he was bringing home, stretching before walking the slightly long path to the entrance of their home. "Oh man.. it feels good to even be this close to home... I just wish I didn't have to finish this walk." He laughed to himself before grunting as he picked up the surprise for Angelique and started walking to conquer the path.
As he got up to the door, he cracked it open and peeked his head in. "You home Angel?" he shouted out. Setting down the surprise on the step outside their home, he then stretched again then tried to brush some of the dust and dirt of his fur before making his way inside. He shouted out again as he did so "I brought something home for you~"

The smell of pasta and freshly cooked shrimp filled the air as Kimun walked farther into the house. Angelique had some french rock playing as she was cooking. Her ears twitched as she heard a voice. turning down the music she heard it again. It was the love of her life, Kimun. "I'm in the kitchen, Mon amie!" She called out as a huge smile formed along her face. Giving off a loud purr as she pulled the bread sticks out from the oven.
"A surprise?" Angelique mewed as she set the bread sticks down onto the stove. Everything was ready to be served and looked amazing. "I had missed you dearly, mon amie..." She said quietly as she grabbed hold of his waist.

All the wonderful smells in the air hit him all at once, his stomach now giving a load growl. He laughed because he hadn't even thought of food til he caught a wiff of what his darling Angelique had been working on. Shouting back to her before stepping through the doorway he smiled "I think I must have died! It smells like heaven in here!"
"Yes~ Something that I think you'll enjoy having around the house." With a big grin, and slightly dirty paws from work, he wrapped her in a big hug. "Oh I missed you too." He brushed some of the fur out of her eyes with the back of his paw then placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Angelique giggled at his comment of it being heaven. "you always know how to make my day. It has been a while since you have been home. I wish they didn't keep you there so long and let me bring you food." She spoke in her delicate accent as her tail swished behind her. She nuzzled her face into his chest as he gave her a hug.
"You shouldn't have, mon amie..." She said with a smile as she looked up at him.

"What kind of mate would I be if I didn't know how to make my lady happy? Hmmm?" He snuggled her close, resting his head on hers. "I'm sorry Angel. The length was my fault this time. We got a big order in and I wanted to see it through all the way. We have new apprentices in the wood shop and they needed guidance." His heart melted as she spoke, that cute and sweet accent always got him. "But you know they would all be thrilled if you came by with enough food to go around." He laughed.
"Of course I should! Gotta bring my lovely lady soemthing for dealing with my hectic work schedule." He pulled back a bit, grabby her paws up in his, and gently pulled her over to the doorway. He let go of her paws, leaned out the door, and pulled in a new wooden rocking chair that he had made. "I though you might enjoy this for when you do some of your artsy stuff and such." He gave a nervous smile and scratched the back of his head.

"Mon amie, you don't need to be sorry. I understand that work needs you and I can wait for when you return home." Angelique spoke softly as she rested her head onto his chest. She felt happy that her love had returned home. She purred loudly as she felt his head resting on her own. "Maybe I'll bring a feast for all you workers next time. Wouldn't that be nice?" She said sweetly as she looked into his eyes.
Angelique followed him to the doorway to see what the big surprise was. She put her paws to her mouth when she saw the brand new rocking chair. She felt tears well up in her eyes," Mon amie... It's beautiful.... It's just like what mama Kitsune had at her home." She said as a lone tear rolled down her cheek. She embraced Kimun in a close hug as she purred even louder. She was over whelmed with emotions that she could contain herself in front of him. "Merci, Kimun... I love it."

"I'm so glad you understand my darling. It would make it very hard if you didn't." He kissed her head lightly then grinned widely at the suggestion of her actually bringing a feast to the shop. "I think some of the guys just might try to steal you from me if you did that, but for your cooking it would be worth fighting them off you!" Kimun gave a hardy laugh.
As she saw the rocking chair he felt a flood of pride in his work well up. Kimun held her tightly as he smiled. "I'm so glad my Angel. It was my side project while I was away. I was thinking about you like I always do~"

Angelique purrs softly as she laces her paw with his own. "Being understanding makes one more trustworthy, oui?" Speaking as her tail curled around his. She rested her head onto his shoulder as she looked at the rocking chair. " Ja ja ja... They could try, but mine heart belongs only to you." Speaking sweetly as she gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Tis perfect for my projects. I've been working on making little dolls for the other female foxes. I heard that some are going to be having kits of their own soon." Speaking softly as she nuzzled his neck. The house had felt empty since Lurante had been out looking for other foxes to meet.

Kimun couldn't help but laugh once more. "That you are my Angel! They wouldn't be able to stand a chance taking you from me!" He gave her a squeeze, enforcing the fact that she was his forever and always. A smile grew on his face as she kissed him. "I could go for another one of those if you wouldn't mind Angel." He gave her cheek a peck then nuzzled her nose.
"Ah! That sounds like a good project for you m'love. New kits? Sounds like something that get you excited." He gently stroked her arm as he thought about their family. "Speaking of kits... Where are our children? I feel as if I haven't seen them in ages!" He looked about, wondering if they were around.

Angelique purrs at the squeeze, "And I will be faithful to the one I love." She spoke as she nuzzled his neck, holding him close in her arms. She couldn't help, but to giggle then give him another loving kiss on the lips. "You can have as many as you'd like, Mon Amie." She spoke delicately as she put a paw onto his cheek, rubbing it tenderly.
"I haven't seen any of them in quite sometime..." Angelique spoke quietly as her ears drooped in sadness as well as her tail. "Last I heard, Lurante has been seeing some other foxes lately. One of them is a yoshi like her father..." She said as she rested her head against his chest. " I miss the sound of them running about the house, them playing in the living room, and making meals for them during the day... I really miss them, Mon amie..."

A light chuckle made its way out. "This I know Angel... I know. And I will always be so to you my little love." He grinned at the kiss as he felt a tingle of pleasure from it, thinking about taking her up on her offer of more in a little while. His eyes closed and he leaned his head into her paw, taking a deep breath then slowly releasing it. "You touch could melt anything like it does my heart." He scooped up her paw and placed a few gentle kisses on it.
His expression turned sad as hers did. The poor little thing was such a family girl and here he was always working so much and their children not around to be with her either. "I am sorry my little love. I should have been around more to teach them how important is it to stay around your family. Please forgive me." He wrapped his strong arms around her, softly stroking behind her ears as he rested his head on hers. "I know you do Angel.. I know. I'm sure we can get them all to come home for a visit soon.... and I promise the next time we make our little family bigger that I will be around more to show them that."

Showering Kimun in more kisses as he spoke. Angelique giggled then blushed lightly at his words. "You know how to take my breath away with your words, Mon Amie." Purring lightly as she felt the kisses on her paw. She was loved and never would change it for anything.
"No, it is my fault. I should of taught the kits the value of staying close to home." Angelique said as she looked down towards the floor. She felt that she should of been more of a strict mother when it came to her family. "I know that if we have more children then I'm going to make sure at least one of them stays home or close by." she spoke as her laced her paw into his. She gave off a light sigh as she felt the stroking.
