Should I get the new Blazblue or Dead or Alive? Im leaning towards DOA because of all the spotpass content that I dont want to miss, but Blazblue is... Blazblue. Opinions?

I've never played either series properly, but I'm gonna get both ninja
I played a DOA demo during a 3DS tour, and I've also got Guilty Gear which I liked, so I'm definitely going for both D;
Depends what kind of fighter you prefer though.

I've played both already (Continuum shift 2 on PSP) and I'll say that both games are very fun, though I'm not sure how CS2 would turn out since it's a 2D fighter. I'll say that DoAD IS very fun though! Story cutscenes are uber cheesy but still a pretty clean fighter on par with it's console predecessors. I haven't played the BlazBlue series long enough to know it's in and outs, but I'll say that it's not disappointing at all! Go with whatever you feel that you'd enjoy the most!

As much as I love BlazBlue, I'm going to have to go with DoA. The didn't make any WiFi play for BlazBlue. WTF???

Everything from the console versions of Blazblue, is in the 3ds,and I mean everything.Graphics quality is lowered, but still works. You don't use the analog stick however for movement, it is used for command shortcuts instead.

i'm an owner of the new blazblue game on the 3DS and i must say i am quite impressed. there are so many different modes and unlockable rewards/pics/character alterations(right phrase maybe?), that i am never bored with the game. in fact i hardly play pokemon white anymore because of it @-@ no i dont have a problem! i have a solution...to boredom... The Vs mode i havent had a chance to check out yet, appearantly it is under the "network" tab. I guess it could be local or wifi (will check and update later). The art is great the 3D doesn't exactly make it "pop", but it seperates the character from the backround and adds a little depth to the backround.
FINAL SAY:
I would have to give it a 4/5 as addicting as it is, a fighting game is just that, a fighting game. at times it can seem repetative but thats when you go to story and go to tips to watch "teach me miss litchi" a fun little minisode series not completely related to the storyline of the game.
