How had this happened? How in the WORLD had this happened?!!

Sailor Iris glared at the stowaway that was now in Outer Space with her. Stupid smiling cat.

"Oh, don't make that face, Iris! Your mom let me in while she was heading out for work today!" The manx remained smiling, looking at the senshi from her spot in the dark sand. Under her paws, it just felt like a giant sandbox.

The blonde scowled at the feline before kicking a small dark dust cloud at *********. "Ya didn't have t'bum rush me, ya know!" The cloud of dust surrounded the cat, making it hard to see her. "Coulda just asked me t'come along!"

The cat's voice giggled slightly from behind the dust cloud, seeming unaffected by the sand polluting the air.

"Just like I could ask you to let me in your house, right?" With that comment, something grew out of the cloud. Something that didn't wear shoes, but wore a top hat. Something with familiar eyes, a familiar smile, and a familiar silver bell about her neck.

"Either way... I do have questions for you!"

"Questions?" The word was repeated with a lofted brow and a distrusting tone.

"Yes, questions! I am a cat, and last I checked, cats were curious, yes?" The cloud of dust had settled and soon enough it seemed as if the cat-earred girl was pretending to walk on a tight rope. Her steps were delicate and light, almost as if she was tiptoeing along.

The teen's arms crossed as she watched. She let ********* wander about for a bit in such a strange manner before she pointed out "Yer not a cat right now..."

********* paused mid-step, one foot in the air, toes wriggling slightly. Keeping her balance, she then lifted off her hat from her head so her ears could become more visible. "I am a cat. A cat is a cat is a cat. And that..."

She paused to tilt her head for a smile. "...is what I am..."

The blonde sighed heavily, raising a hand to scratch the back of her head. "Ya give me a headache..."

With her point having been made, the silver haired girl resumed her activities, stepping along in the sand, forming a circle around the senshi. "Anyways, question time! It's not a hard question. Pretty simple actually. What do you remember?" Casually, she tossed her hat to the side.

"...what?"

"What what?"

Sailor Iris had enough of this! She tromped up to the human-shape cat and grabbed her by the arm. The senshi yanked the girl to face her, gold eyes glaring harshly into the playful green ones. "What th'hell sorta question is that?"

Though the senshi's actions were a bit abrupt, ********* did not see surprised at all. Just a friendly smile. "Ah, Iris... one of these days you won't resort to violence!" She laughed a bit before winking her eye and wiggling her nose a bit.

"You have been remembering things when you come visit, correct? I want to know what you remember. Simple as that. Nothing complicated!"

Somehow, ********* managed to pull away from the senshi's grip with what seemed like no effort at all. How did she make it seem so easy? Like before, she resumed walking along on that set path of hers, not shifting it even in the slightest despite Iris' new position.

The senshi just watched the cat in an almost blank manner before she closed her eyes from the sheer need to blink. I totally was not just staring at the cat's a**. Shaking her head to shake away that loose thought, she tried to figure out what she had seen.

"Uh... I knew ya back... whenever..." She started slowly.

"That's good to know!" ********* said in an encouraging manner, still continuing on in her antics.

"I... I apparently knew how to walk on my hands too..."

"Oh? Do you know how to already walk on your hands?" The cat-earred girl paused again in step and looked to the senshi expectantly.

Eyes shot to ********* silently. The senshi didn't say a word, but the answer seemed obvious. The cat predicted it was something along the lines of It's totally gay to know how to walk on your hands. The glare eventually turned into an eye roll.

"Um... let's see... um... there was a market... I think at...AAAAAUGGHHHH!!"

It probably wasn't the wisest of decisions for the senshi to look away after confessing (in one form or another) that she didn't know how to walk on her hands. One moment the senshi was standing upright, the next the cat girl had practically pounced her, pushing her upper body down with a full body tackle. The senshi went face first into the sand.

"WHAT TH'HELL, CAT?!!!" Iris shouted out after spitting out a mouthful of dark sand. "OH GOD, THIS STUFF TASTES NASTY!!"

Ignoring the complaints, the girl rather quickly grabbed onto the senshi's ankles and lifted up. "You shouldn't have had your mouth open then," she pointed out in a near mother-like tone. By the time she was done, the senshi was now upside down, feet being held in the air, leaving the senshi to hold herself up with her hands.

"SERIOUSLY?!! WHAT TH'HELL?!!!!" Her legs tried to get loose, but there was no escape it seemed from this situation.

"Oh, stop struggling... it's not that hard. You have the upper body strength for this!" Another light giggle escaped her before she tried to redirect the tomboy's attention again.

"So, you mentioned a market... what sorts of things were there in the market?"

The senshi just remained in place, upside down with a big frown on her face. It didn't look like she was going anywhere.

"Was there food? I bet there was lots of food! Like grapes and tomatoes and fish..."

"What, NO?!!! It's a f*ckin' desert! There wasn't anythin' like that!! Where th'hell would they get th'fish?! Or grow grapes and sh*t like that?!!!"

Gently, ********* put a little pressure on the senshi's legs as she began to walk forward slightly. "Okay, so not so much food? What sorts of things did they have?"

In an effort to remain standing upright and now falling on her face again, the senshi reluctantly went along for the "ride."

"Well... there was a lot of jewelry...it was kinda gay, but whatever... lots of other crap too... it was like a bazaar of some sort." Rather suddenly, she changed the subject a bit. "I remembered some sort of celebrations too... and there were carts... kinda like covered wagons. Do ya know 'bout th' Oregon Trail, it kinda reminded me of those wagons. It was weird..."

By this point, the senshi was going at a relatively decent pace using her hands to walk herself around in the circle which ********* had been guiding her in. "There was also a llama... I think... like... a giant llama... do ya know what those were?"

"I wouldn't know in all honesty... they aren't my memories. The memories are your own, Sailor Iris." When they had finished one whole circle, the cat laughed. "See, that wasn't too hard!" In that effortlessly playful tone, she counted "One, two, and there we go!" She moved to let go of Sailor Iris' legs so that she would roll back rather than fall on her face this time around.

"Wait..." Her body flopped into the sand, but her gold eyes went searching for the other girl. Unfortunately, she didn't find a girl. Rather quickly, a cat toddled up along her stomach, back in her usual form.

"Yes?"

The senshi sat herself up so she could get a better look at the cat, which flopped into her lap as a result of the sudden shift. "Ya don't remember any of this? None of it?!"

The cat laughed, not seeming upset at all about the situation and all of the questions. "I said it earlier... they are your memories!"

"Nothing?! Seriously?! Why did ya ask me so many questions?" A fist beat lazily into the sand.

"I told you I was curious. However..." The cat's eyes glanced up. "I do remember one thing... it's the only thing I remember so far..."

"...what's that?"

"I remember you."

It could have been a touching moment, but instead, the senshi just snatched the cat awkwardly out of her lap. "Wow... that's corny... whatever..." She sighed a bit as she pulled out her senshi phone.

The manx shifted slightly to try and fix the problem dealing with the way the senshi held her. "Oh, we're going back?"

"Well, I ain't gettin' any trainin' done... and it's already gettin' too warm t'do much of anything... so yeah... we're goin' back..." With a roll of the eyes, the two vanished from the asteroid of Iris.
