Personalities:
Candace can be described in a few words: arrogant, cocky, self-centered, ambitious and selfish. She will stab you in the back to get what she needs and wants...hell, she'll cut you in half to get what she wants. Just ask the ten people she did that to! She knows what she wants and she will do whatever it takes to get it. While she loves a good joke, she often does not have the patience for stupidity. Don't be stupid and you'll get along fine. It isn't uncommon to find her training (or studying) to the point of exhaustion, she is as much a perfectionist as one can possibly be; Candace just cannot let something go until she gets it right every time, because it has to be perfect or it isn't good enough. Nothing is good enough. She thinks of herself as amazing, because she feels she is the s**t and you should agree with whatever she has to say. Obviously she's right! She's clearly smarter than you, and even if she's wrong she's right. That isn't to say she doesn't try to be nice. She does give it a good effort as long as you aren't completely annoying, though if she has to pretend to be nice she will be. You have something she wants? Something she needs? She is your best friend, she is as loyal as they come..until she gets what she's after.
Atropos has come to terms with being literally walked on for the rest of eternity. She isn't the nicest, but she knows when to show respect..not that she can, but the intention is still there. She enjoys being used for her proper purpose, in fact she takes great joy in it. Atropos is also rather chatty, but mostly because she really has nothing else to do for ninety percent of her life. She sings, she rambles, she tells stories both true and fabricated; it's said she once mentally wrote a seven book long story about a boy wizard with a funny scar on his forehead, telepathically relaying it to a woman in England so that it may be shared with the world.
...It's complete bullshit, but she is adamant that it's true.
It could be the years of being walked on, or the years of being trapped as a weapon, but it's quite clear Atropos isn't quite there. Whether Atropos is even really her name or not is unclear.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? The Beginning of the End
Candace came from a small hick town and worked her a** off to get out of it and attend a top college away from town despite all the...wonderful encouragement from everyone around her. Unfortunately, despite the years and years of hard work, tears, all-nighters and stress she slept through her last required deadline. Devastated, she felt her life was over until a recruiter informed her she could start over, take on a new life with a new purpose, one with power and control. She accepted.
Weapon Ability When enough FEAR is absorbed by Atropos the glow of her cracks and eyes grows more and more intense until the limit is hit. Atropos' eyes blaze a blindingly bright light, and as long as Candace is able to position herself in a way that allows Atropos to look upon her target, her gaze is able to stun the target. And you can bet your a** Candace is going to take advantage of these few seconds of free hits. This move becomes more effective as she rises in ranks...hopefully.
