A soft breeze blew threw the tree's in a large pine forest. It's touch cooling the last signs of the hot day that was now coming to an end. This was the ideal weather for one mare who was wandering threw the forest. Her mate had gone off for the day, though she couldn't remember why, so she decided walking would be a good way to spend her time. And now that the light was soon fading she started to head back to the small river they had stopped at the night before to rest.

She was skimming the trees in search of a place to rest for the night, as the afternoon grew to a close, showing the early evening lights. As she flew, Cyano noticed something sparkling off the corner of her eye, and grinned. A river! That'd be a good place to hang for the night until she got back home. She had gone off to explore, much as her brothers had, once she'd become an adult. Her mother and father were probably wandering around someplace as well--their family was a family of wanderers, after all. As she descended, she spotted another mare. She hadn't seen the mare from her viewpoint, but mostly because the mare was blending in with the night lights. She landed gently, and called out. "Hello, there! Good eve to you, and who am I in the presence of?" She knew she was a little too friendly for her own good, but it wasn't like she couldn't protect herself.
