Hi people, I have a bit of a problem with body hair. I'm a bit uncomfortable with the amount I have and some of the areas it covers. Like most guys I have a bit of chest hair, a bit of stomach hair, and some on my butt gonk

I've tried shaving, but it always starts to stubble within a couple days and I occasionally nick myself on my chest. So basically I need an alternative to shaving and I don't want to go and ask my parents for stuff because my mom will get suspicious.

So does anyone have any advice or tips on dealing with body hair?

Also I'd like to add that I've attempted to make a sugar based wax, but I ended up burning it eek Yeah burned it, it was all black and nasty and when it cooled off it was hard, also it tasted awful (It was only sugar, water and lemon juice). I'll probably try doing that again later, but until we get more sugar I wanted to hear other options.

Sounds like lemonade. Hehe. Sorry.

You could always try Nair, but you should not use it on your genitals or near them. That stuff burns sensitive bits but it works for chest hair and on your stomach. As for the rest, I'd leave it be.

Is there a specific reason why you don't like your body hair? Its a normal, natural thing to have. I, personally, like a man with hair. My husband is a bear. lol

Try using Nair. It dissolves the hair and keep the skin smooth for up to two weeks.

Alarmingly Charming@ Lol, yeah I suppose it does, but you have to put so much water and sugar some recipes call for a small amount of lemon juice. Your suppose to cook it until it's thick like honey....

And I suppose I could try that, and my reasons for not liking my body hair is that it tends to bug me if it gets to long and it's kinda thick. Also my stomach hair will sometimes catch on my belt which really hurts. Most of my body hair is thin, but in those spots it alot thicker and noticeable. Another reason is my girlfriend kinda requested that I do it too, but I want to do this most for myself.

Riku@ I think I'll try that and that's for the extra info I didn't know it dissolved hair I thought it just weakened it.

On men, it kind of does both. Its rather disgusting. lol It kinda makes the hair all a mush the first time you use it in the bigger areas. You can rinse it off pretty easy after its been on long enough with a shower.

As for the recipe you used, I think I know what you did wrong. That is just like the sugar syrup you follow to make lemonade, actually. You cook the sugar until it just dissolves, then let it sit and drain out the majority of water until you get to the syrup part at the bottom. 3nodding

Well I haven't tried the nair stuff recently, but I've done it before, I guess it all depends on your hair texture because mines wasn't really mush and it didn't get rid of it all. I guess I should have left it on for alittle longer since my hair is thick. All i know is that it leaves my skin smelling weird.

As for the recipe I've read several different versions and also looked it up on youtube, there's no mention of draining anything out. The first one I tried said to put it in the microwave which I did, but didn't do much, then I found a video on youtube that said to put it on the stove for so long, stir it then check and stir until it's thick like syrup or honey. But the end results were thick and black as tar not golden and thick like honey.
