Personalities: Jordan is a reasonably intelligent young man who enjoys reading, logic, and psychology; while he hasn't been very sociable, as a rule, he's deeply interested in the way people act as individuals and in groups, as well as aberrant psychology. As such, he has a fairly extensive but somewhat abstract knowledge of how people think and behave.
He's good at mathematics and logic, and solves math and logic puzzles to relax. He prefers nonfiction, classical literature, and mythology to contemporary fiction, particularly horror/fantasy fiction. True crime novels are his guilty pleasure. He likes computers and knows his way around PCs well enough to fix software problems if they arise. When not aware of an audience, he likes to hum or sing, but would be embarrassed to be caught at it. He likes to stay active, but has preferred individually oriented sports to team sports, doing rock climbing and weight training rather than going for any of the teams at his schools.
When upset or angry, he's much more likely to bottle it all up and pretend nothing's wrong than to go to anyone or anything to vent. This sometimes results in a massive explosion of temper when the pressure finally gets to him. He may say things he doesn't mean and regret it later, but since he's not the best at social situations, he doesn't really know how to fix it, and will be awkward and embarrassed afterward.
Ferros is and always has been a focused and straightforward person. He prefers to solve problems by force or by the simplest way he can think of. This doesn't mean he's stupid, but he's not likely to think of the most creative solution to the given problem. On the other hand, he may be able to see through a tangled situation to a cleaner and simpler way to resolve it. He can be extremely patient if he has to be, but he doesn't like it; he'd rather just get on with it, thank you very much. When he's angry, he WILL let you know, but it doesn't last long.
He's very interested in the bizarre customs and rituals of humans, and has a neverending stream of questions about why, exactly, they're doing that. He has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor, and likes making people laugh; he also enjoys catching others off guard and unsettling them. He likes his Hunter, but feels that the boy is still too quiet. He intends to do something about that.
He likes to fight, but doesn't hold grudges; he enjoys combat more for the pleasure of smashing and burning things. He vaguely remembers that he was once massive and weighty and colossal, and has an ego to match. He's secure in the knowledge that he's pretty damn awesome and isn't shy about saying so.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? Most of his life, Jordan has been, if not exactly shy, a quiet loner. He has preferred not to draw attention to himself, staying under the radar and getting by. Now, however, he feels that his inaction caused his younger brother's death. His resolve has firmed, and he no longer feels that "good enough" is enough. ( Death solo: Hail and Farewell )
Weapon Ability Flame Cloak: Ferros can ignite the head of the hammer for a short time, causing extra fire damage to the target.
