exclaim Hunter quests are now OPEN! Please follow the guidelines below:

Important Notes:
- those who win a Hunter through the event auctions may choose to create a different Hunter character than the one used in the event (if they participated)
- but ALL hunters won through the Meta will be considered to have been part of the big event Test. They all went through Total Trauma Island, wore suits and gasmasks, probably killed some friends or got killed themselves. Met with scary a** horses. Got attacked by shadows. Died. Went through that Door in the Deathlounge. Managed to wake up.
- if your hunter wasn't played in the event, please make a note of it in your form, and we'll assign a number and a squad for them to have been a part of.
- once Hunters have been in play for awhile, and it looks like players are comfortable with the setting, the newbie-only limit will be lifted, and you'll be able to quest for Hunters that were on the island prior to the event.
- IF you are questing for a Hunter you must have a MINOR UNDERSTANDING of how Hunters are recruited in order to quest for one (ie: understand how the "selection process" works)

DEUS EX MACHINA PERSONNEL FORM

The Hunter
Name:
Nicknames: (if applicable)
Gender:
Age:

Category Moon/Sun/Life/Death/Mist - each category has their own specialized role.
Moon/Sun - Does the 'hands on' operations, more tied to execution of missions, attacking, assaulting, defense, repair, and guarding work. Moon is related more to repair/rescue and defense while sun is related more to offense
Death - The "intelligence" operation, in charge of gathering information and maintaining the network of Hunters. They gather the information prior to a mission.
Life - Related to "research", including research specifically OF Halloween, its specimens, and ultimately Fear and the abilities of Fear and Hunters.
Mist - The group that does not have one specified role but fills in for everyone. A jack of all trades master of none group, they are usually asked to take missions from all four categories, but as a result do not get "specialized field" missions.

If your character is premade* this division is already chosen for you to start, but you may request ICly to change divisions later.

The Weapon
Name:
Nicknames: (if applicable)
Type of Weapon: (knife, sword, gun, w/e)
Former species of weapon:? (ie banshee/druid/jabberwocky/etc. Determines ability+look of Hunter's weapon. Just need to list a name, no in-depth descriptions of your one-eyed werewolf whose pelt was blacker than midnight on a moonless night whose flawless orb gleamed menacingly above two rows of crescent-curved ivory fangs that left a haunting cheshire grin within the shadows plzktkx.)
Gender:

Personalities: (Let us know a little about both Hunter and weapon, give us a small paragraph about their personality, traits, character quirks, likes and dislikes, and such.)

Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? (Remember, they had to basically sign their life away for this, it's not a "just 'cuz" type of situation. If you've posted a solo for this hunter, please link to that as well as provide a BRIEF summary here, 2-3 lines max.)

Weapon Ability (A charged Weapon can utilize FEAR. Each Weapon has a CHARGED ENERGY ability that relates to what the Weapon was prior to transformation. So no, your werewolf sword does not have the ability to make plants grab onto their opponent. They also can't make their wielder into a wolf or turn them invisible. It CAN however so something like: increase hunter's strength in a charged attack sequence. Or maybe it glows stronger as its swung to induce berserker rage in an opponent. Or maybe it smolders and attracts spectral fleas to irritate the opponent. Please visit Imagination Land to find out more, make sure it corresponds to a CHARGED ATTACK, similar to how "blessed" weapons work.)
