☠Radiation☠
You have been taken from your family and have been exposed to radiation. But do you know this? Probably not. All you know is that you are special. Of course, you have the natural heightened senses that the scientists of this organization have found everyone exposed to this amount of radiation has, but you have something special. Something more. And you are trapped here in this seemingly normal town to figure out how to hone your special ability to where it is as destructive as the scientists who gave it to you. Because, of course, these scientists are planning to destroy the world and build a new, better society from the ashes of the old one. Of course, right? Not like you know that, or like you ever will know that. But I like to write it down so I do not forget why I am who I am.
Anyways. This little town you live in, that is seemingly normal, is really scattered with cameras even I have not found, and I have been here since the day I was born. The cameras are for the scientists, to watch over us and see how we are developing. Well, not us, but our powers. This town they put us in is small. Each of us share a house with another, and so there are only six houses. They, the scientists, will build more if they need it. There is always food in the fridge and clothes in our closets and sometimes a game system will pop into my home and I will invite the others to play. The scientists will give you anything if you so ask for it. They like to keep their children of destruction happy.
Surrounding the spot of houses is a forest full of beautiful, always green trees and animals that you hardly ever see, but can hear. I know a spot where a large, calm pond is and it is always warm enough to swim in. I know what happens when you go out farther then the scientists want you too, and it is not a pretty site. I warn you not to explore that far out. The sky is always clear and baby blue during the day, and starry during the night. Sometimes it gets boring here, but there are always other people kind of like you that will talk to you. Just do not anger the people behind the curtain. It is not a fun time when the scientists are angry.
