Sketch has always been strange; but when he found Doodle, he became completely off-the-wall weird. Today he was out scavenging for his and Doodle's breakfast. Sketch was halfheartedly digging around, his mind set on Doodle. He wondered if he should get back soon to see if Doodle was doing okay. Sketch scurried through some dark undergrowth, not even looking to see if there was any predators around. He emerged into a brightly lit clearing that smelled strongly of clover. For just a few seconds, his thoughts left Doodle. His mouth watered as he stared at the bunches of clovers. He ran through them, nibbling more than he collected.

Ratimir was looking for Beebee...again. The silly little bee always seemed to get lost and no matter how many times he heard Beebee's angry buzing at him before he ran aw-...er...got lost, Ratimir found him. It was almost tradition now. Beebee would go off one his own and Ratimir would find him and for a few days they would travel together then again Beebee would be off again.
Finding himself in a field of clover, he took a few nibbles of the yummy clover before he spotted another rat. "You there! Have you seen a bee around here! I'm looking for the silly thing*

Sketch nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard someone else's voice. "Er..." He looked around to see if the other rat was talking to someone else. "Sorry? No. Haven't seen a bee, but I could ask Doodle!" Sketch said, getting excited as the idea to ask Doodle came to him. He ran back into the underbrush and back towards home. Then he stopped and realized that he had forgotten the other rat. Sketch scurried back to the clearing and breathlessly said, "Coming? Follow me!" He then began to run back into the underbrush, keeping an eye on the other rat. Sketch smiled to the other rat and introduced himself, "I'm a Sketch. I mean, The Sketch. No, my name is Sketch." He began to get frustrated and shook his head. "Hi, I'm Sketch." He finally blurted out.

Ratimir blinked as the other rat ran off, not sure what he should do so he waited and nibbled on more clover. Finally the rat returned and told him to follow him which Ratimir did without complaint. It would be nice to talke to some sane company instead of just silly Beebee. He may love the little bee but he wasn't all there, otherwise he wouldn't get lost all the time.
"Sketch huh? Thats a good name, I'm Ratimir." he said as he followed along.

((Sane company huh? Ratimir's in for a surprise. XD)) "Ratimir huh? Cool name!" Sketch said, ducking under a large branch. Finally, they arrived at Sketch's humble nest. It was located at the bottom of half an oak tree, tunnels weaving through the broad roots. Sketch stopped to think before he entered. Would Doodle scold him for bringing in a stranger? Perhaps he'd better make Ratimir stay outside. Then again, what fun would that be? "Wipe your feet before you come in." Sketch said, then laughed. He hadn't noticed how dirty the ground was. "Nevermind." He said, still chuckling. He slowly began inside his home, turning left and right every other second. It was like a maze, but Sketch never noticed. "Doodle! I've got a question for you!" He said, entering finally, a large room. He went over and whispered to the paper rat cut-out. He and the cut-out had an entire conversation before Sketch turn to Ratimir and said, "Silly me. Doodle reminded me that I saw a little yellow and black bee while I was out earlier. He went..." He though silently for a minute, then said, "Towards the waterfall! Want me to take you there?"

Ratimir was having a little trouble not getting lost but he was good at tracking, he had to be otherwise he'd never find Beebee so Ratimir worried more about tracking Sketch then seeing where he was going so it was no surprise he knocked his head a few times on branches that he wasn't paying attention to. Shaking his head Ratimir chuckled and followed his fellow rat into his home again bumping into things as he tracked Sketch.
When they finally arrived in the large room and Sketch started talking to his friend Doodle, Ratimir had a feeling something was a little off about what he was seeing but he couldn't put his paw on the why it seemed off. Shrugging Ratimir put it off to hitting his head a little harder then he thought. "Oh yes please, I'm sure Beebee is missing me something fierce and the sooner we find him the better."
Smiling at Sketch, "please let Doodle know I appreciate the help!"

Sketch had already begun to lead the way out, then Ratimir asked him to thank Doodle. He chuckled and turned around. "Thanks for your help Doodle! And no wild parties while I'm gone!" He laughed a bit more then led the way out of his home. Sketch stopped just outside his home and sniffed the air in different directions. He decided that walking east would take them to the waterfall. "Let's go!" He said enthusiastically to Ratimir. He jogged leisurely, taking his time slowly with his new friend. "How did Beebee get lost?" He asked.

Ratimir shook his head and gave a fond smile, "Oh Beebee is such a silly thing and always seems to lose himself but I always find him! Always! " Ratimir said nodding his head vigorously. "I do worry he'll get himself into some sort of trouble when he's lost though so I try to find him as soon as possible."
Sniffing the air, Ratimir wondered if maybe they were lost instead of Beebee, but he quickly shook his head and decided his friend Sketch knew the proper way to go and followed along happily.

Sketch got a whiff of a fresh kill nearby. The thought made him shudder. "Perhaps we should take the scenic route?" Sketch suggested to Ratimir with a failing smile on his face. He sniffed in the direction of the kill, trying to determine the predator. It didn't work, Sketch was never very good at identifying other species. He put a paw on Ratimir's back and mourned the kill. "Well, let's not be dessert!" He whispered vehemently. Sketch led the way up a steep trail, away from the scent of death.

"Oh that would be bad, very bad. I would taste horrible as a dessert, I think the scenic route would be best." Ratimir looked around at sniffed the air a second and frowned..."Uh...but which way is the scenic route? "

Sketch paused a minute and looked thoughtful. "Well, I suppose..." He looked around and sniffed the air again. "We'll go up this path, around the bend, through the rose thickets, down the mud hill, and then we'll be halfway to the waterfall." He smiled and laughed. "Really scenic, huh?" He asked Ratimir.
