Believe it or not, this has more to do with Sailor Moon then you may think. First off it was distributed by DiC. (Please don't punch me! ._.) I loved this series as a kid, and recently I realized the similarities. The main character is blond with a up-in-the-air hairdo, she has a bunch of friends that fight along side her, all the colors, the idea of a utopia. All of it's vaguely similar. Sadly it only lasted 13 episodes. There are a few special straight-to-DVD movies but they're live action and are weirdly similar to Barney. Also, this is geared towards a very young age group, like a certain dub that we all know of.
