I got this in my facebook inbox from her.

"Could you let the guild know I havn't left them? My truck caught fire (lol?) while moving and my laptop is covered in really toxic smoke. Just working with insurance to get it all sorted. I hope by this weekend, but not sure. Shoot me back if you have questions. (Everyone, including cats a-ok. You should be able to see pics on my wall if you're so inclined.)"

So, she's ok and just wanted everyone to know what happened!

Still not back full time. Insurance took my laptop as it reeks of toxic battery acid smoke with a sprinkle of melted dash board. As much as I love my little laptop, I hope to get a new one. Maybe another week?

If anyone wants to see the carnage:
we made the news? - that's me in the far right! I'm famous. cool (Though there was brake failure, we don't think it was the brakes that started the fire. They say they're not going to investigate the cause.)

Back at what I would think is 100%. They "cleaned" my laptop, meaning they sprayed it with something that smells between a Bounce sheet and what I believe is Febreez. Not sure which is worse: engine smoke or this new laptop smell. rolleyes

hold the phone a sec, all the effort they put in to have those black boxes to track the car, and yet they dont want to investigate the cause, that seems really off to me.
