Personality: Quiet and sly, Haruto is a very observant type doesn't tend to speak much unless he is spoken to. He enjoys talking when invited, however, and is a bit more adventurous than he should be...taking risks, doing things, and saying things that, while funny, may get him in a bit of trouble. Beneath his quiet but fun-loving, slightly mischievous veneer, however, is a young man with a good and loyal heart. A true friend, is quite looking forward to joining a new school...and watching the Beach Volleyball team, of course. He is intelligent and diligent when at work, though he will try to avoid it on occasion.
Bio: Son to fairly well-to-do and generally caring parents, Haruto's move to Iwadate came by his own choice with the full support of his family. Unsatisfied with his school in his home of Oshu City, his parents agreed to allow him to attend Iwadate and live in the dorms so long as he maintained a Top 10 GPA. While in the city, Haruto remains under the occasional guidance of his older sister and his great aunt and uncle, both of whom now live in the Iwadate area. Despite being fairly fond of his awesome yet doting aunt and uncle, he's come to be unable to stand his older sister for the way she flaunts herself in front of his friends...and prays that she won't meet any of the new friends he makes in Iwadate.

Moving to the city, Haruto now must decide which clubs interest him (he had stints in many clubs back in Oshu City, but rarely stuck with one for long as they grew boring), try to make new friends in the school and dormitory, and decide whether or not he wants to become involved in the mysterious rumors taking place near the Tsukuyomi Shrine on the Iwadate Beach.

Personality: By most standards, Tyria is the kind of girl who could be said to have a rather odd personality. In particular, she is generally blunt and forthright, occasionally saying some rather shocking things with the same low-key, intense tone she normally talks in. Bluntness aside, Tyria is a generally nice girl who does seem to generally care about her friends. Her favorite foods are made with flour in some way; she likes cakes, cookies, noodles, etc., but is particularly fond of Fried Bread.
Bio: As might be expected, Tyria hasn't actually had too strange of a life up to this point, except whatever she's brought upon herself with her habit of calling things as she sees them without much regard for the appropriateness of her comments. Truly the despair of a traditionalist pair of parents, and they've largely given up on making her act a little more normal. She gets reasonably good grades in school, though, and that probably helps.

Bio:

As her name implies, she is not fully Japanese, she is half Brazilian and was actually born there in that country. However not to long ago her mother died, a victum of a muder, and Isabella's world was turned upside down. She became afraid of her home town and shut herself out from the rest of the world. Her father soon after was found guilty of his wifes' murder. The court then got into contact with Bella's family in Japan, the only relative she had was her father's younger sister. So they shipped her over to Japan. There Bella is currently living with her aunt in her house in Iwadate while her father remains in Brazil locked away. She also becamed inrolled in Shirokidan by her aunt. She is being forced to return to the normal world, but everywhere she looks she feels lost because of the trama she experienced. She is now just trying to regain her senses and move on, which she is determined to do. As a type of physical therapy she has taken to fan dancing with a hint of caopoeira.

Personality: Yasu is a very upbeat, zany person, who is very eccentric. He delights in eating meat, a privilege he is often deprived of in his house. He is rash, impulsive, and determined to do everything his way, whether for good or bad. In battle, Yasu either comes off as his ordinary crazy and unpredictable personality, or his more serious, cold and steely side, which is a rare occurrence, and an intimidating scene. Yasu is totally hooked on flying and one day reaching the stars in the sky (which probably has something to do with his arcana). Yasu is a self-proclaimed genius and is very proud of himself, in particular his fighting abilities. In truth, he works very hard behind the others' backs. Though his attitude can be described as a lowlife, suitable for his gangster-like persona, and though he likes to go around doing insanely foolish things all the time, Yasu has a tendency to think beyond others' perceivable concept or as others would say 'outside the box' usually coming up with simple/odd solutions to seemingly difficult situations. Yasu, though easy to miss the obvious, can be very adept when it comes to spotting small details.
Bio: Yasu grew up in a good home, caring mother and father but he always had allot of energy which caused him to wear them out every day with his constant running around and breaking of things. This caused his parents to put him into sports (mainly football) which he excelled in. Yasu always had a deep-rooted lust to reach the stars, which started when he was a child. He feels that the only reason that human cant fly and reach the stars is because they are all trapped in one giant cage and is why he made it his personal duty to break open all cages both literally and metaphorically. Yasu went through most of grade school playing football until one day, when his mom was on the way to come pick him up from practice, she got into a car accident and died. Yasu felt that it was his fault and never played football again. Due to his mother's death, Yasu gained a large amount of misplaced aggression which caused him to get into fights all the time. But he never lost his will to reach the stars, it was actually more of a goal now as he believed that if he went high enough, then he could find his mother's soul in the afterlife and bring her back. Because of this goal, he gained the nickname of 'The ambitious Crow' as crows (in mythology) were said to guide or lure souls into the afterlife, but now one particular crow (Yasu) wanted to reach the afterlife himself and take a soul back from the afterlife. His father used Yasu's misplaced aggression and made him begin training in martial arts studying 'Kyokushin kaikan'. This was actually a good vent for his anger and allowed Yasu to release his anger. He actually excelled in fighting, winning almost every tournament he entered. He entered Shirokidan high freshman year and has been fighting ever since.

Personality: Minet maintains a balance between two relatively apposing personalities. On one side she's relatively nice, normally relaxed, intelligent an outgoing, although a bit stuck up and sometimes mean, on the flip side she can be very serious, straight to the point, with very little tolerance for nonsense or fun and almost industrialist trying to make everything move the way she wants it to. Its the balancing act between these two that she's seemingly perfected over the years that people normally see.
Bio:Minet is part of a rather wealthy family. Life with the family wasn't very lax, she was rushed into several different groups that she managed to wiggle her way out of with a bit of defiance, until her parents allowed her to actually follow her own desires. Once free on some of the restricts she managed , with the use of family money to get a private sword instructor, unlike what her teacher though she proved she could handle larger blades with almost perfect skill despite her appearance. Once she ended her teaching with and instructor she spent free time training by herself to make sure she said fresh and talented, much to her families displeasure due they're thought that it was almost a disgrace for their daughter to be doing such unladylike things.

Personality: Being subjected to his mother's ideals of what a male should be Excal's behavior has been somewhat molded. Throughout his final years though he has shown to be going through this "Rebellious phase" by growing out his hair, dying up his whole hair red and the end of his hair to black, also red make up along the sides of his mouth, and eyes; also nails, sort of punkish. He is very sly with a misleading smile, when he speaks one must be careful, his lies might mean the truth, and the truth might leads to lies. His thoughts are in constant motion and he is never afraid to express it..usually does it with more of action than mere words. Which also makes him a bringer of mishief even if they do get out of hand, one of his renown reputation is to play dead infront of whoever cames near him, whether it is out of boredom, or a longing of attention, or maybe even a more deeper meaning would never be found only he knows the real answer.

Despite all of this he holds a very dark secret, he loves things that are cute, sweet, or even lovely. His liking of such things goes beyond that, he is a major otaku among all things; respecting and admiring all the manga and anime he finds; to the point where he believes(sorta) in the cliche themes. Though his one true love is in fact music, the violin, the piano, bass guitar, trumpet, you name it and he will play it because it is something that makes his soul feel at ease. With his Die hard love for these things comes with a major prize though, no one must know he enjoys them; therefore he must surpress it but it is hard to do so. If someone were to get atleast a hint at what he truly enjoys the trickster would feel shy, quiet and uneasy; wanting nothing more than to run away from this difficult position.

Overall, once you get past his faults Excal is a caring and deep kind of man. Those he considers friends or close ones, he'll protect them with his every being. Has shown to be quite the series man if someone were to diss anything involving his hobbies, or friends. In contradicting manner, if someone were to accuse him of being a sissy or what not, that too will rub him the wrong way.

Bio: Excal's life was a bit more forced on him than he would have liked. Reason being was that whe he was a kid, his family divorced; his father called it quits and went to pursue a life of a broadway dancer. Now this wasn't much of a excuse to break away from a love filled marriage, but that love essentially died off when the wife was making him go to various buisness jobs, working late hours, trying to be a success that she always thought he would be. It was in her best interests, but he just wouldn't have it...he wanted to follow his dreams and so he left her. She was utterly depressed over the lost of her beloved, Excal couldn't bare it and would do anything to make her happy again. She loving told him that he would grow into a strong man, successful man, not someone who follows silly ideals. And so throughout the years he was placed in the top grade schools where he was worked hard to the core physically and mentally, it was an everlasting torture, but the thought of his mom was motivation enough, or so he thought. One day he picked up something that caught his eye on campus, it was a book; a manga named Nodame Cantabile. Honestly didn't know what the thing was about, since he never did touch a manga book in his life, so with curiousity taking the better of him he decided to read the thing. It only took a few pages and he immediately fell in love with it, the drama, the romance, it was just singing to his soul, especially the music; oh the theme of the manga was music!

This was when his Father's traits started to come out of him more, taking a love for manga and anime from shoujo to shounen, the action figures, the dramas, even found something that he does with a passion, playing music witha similar commitment to his dad wanting to dance on Broadway. Even though he was gifted surprisingly in the field of music, as much as he loved these new found hobbies he was force to supress them and stay in the typical view of a normal male, not wanting his mother to feel the wounds reopen(Nor did he want to recieve wounds himself ont his matter) There were however some loop holes to this ordeal, around the night he would let loose his musical urges on the cliff, or wherever he pleases with his Kitsune mask. With his collections, he manages to keep them around, but hides them quickly in a blink of an eye when someone or his mother comes in... this was the only way to experience freedom.

Personality: Kazuma has a warm and friendly personality and is rarely seen not smiling. He is, also, very naive. Kazuma is the type of person that can make friends with everyone, and, if not friendship, at least respect. However, Kazuma can become angry or serious whenever he feels it is the time, which can be seen when he plays baseball as his smile usually fades when he decides to actually play at his best. Kazu is also a quick learner, having learned and mastered the Kendo arts in less the half the time it would take a normal person.
Bio: Kazuma spent most of his child-hood studying and practicing in the Kendo martial arts. Due to his adept learning ability, Kazu was already on a professional level when he was around 13 so not having any form of competition in his age group was an understatement. Kazu's room was filled with Kendo trophies and awards but his heart was soon stolen by the popular sport of baseball. Due to his years of Kendo, he was gifted with fast reflexes and an athletically conditioned body which gave him a bit of an advantage above the rest. He used the bat as he would use a sword, already having practiced on swinging at precise targets at exact times. All of this, coupled with his quick learning curve, allowed him to flourish in the sport of baseball within years.

During Kazuma's sophomore year, he transferred to Shirokidan in order to move closer to his father's new job, but it wasn't really a problem for Kazu as he now had the opportunity to join their Kendo and baseball clubs where he obviously made a name for himself.

Personality: Natsu is very shy. Like, whoa. She refuses to allow anyone to touch her, even if it's something small like on the shoulder. Her family are really the only ones she'd act affectionately around, and it's really no surprise she dotes on her sister. And yet, when angered, she has the ability to knock someone down if she really had to. She tends to try to keep her appearance as a male, and her real gender a secret. She hardly does anything feminine, but that's more of a natural thing than forced. Otherwise, she's fairly sociable and polite (and sometimes awkward to talk to), and greatly enjoys the company of others. Most of the time though, even during breaks, she's staring out the window of her classroom and daydreams. She's the type of person who waits until she's spoken to before she talks to anyone.
Bio: Coming from a normal family, Natsu is kind of the odd one out. She has a very sweet little sister, a caring mother, and a supportive father. The reason for her desire to be a boy, however, is due to something in her elementary years - she was quite often mistaken for one, and didn't mind it in the least. She was concerned with the idea that as a girl, she was weak and helpless, so she tried to fight that by dressing and acting like a boy. Though they were concerned about it, her parents didn't argue with her decision. They simply supported her, and always readily assisted her when she asked for it.
The family itself owns a popular cafe`, and Natsu is really rather proud of it. When she's working, she still wears a waiter's outfit, though.
She's aiming to join a sports club, but she can't decide between baseball or soccer.
