~Iwadate Police Station and Military Resource Facilities~
While the crime rate is surprisingly low given the comings and goings in the village of Iwadate, the Iwadate Police Station is still kept up to a fairly high standard...potentially due to the fact that the police share their large facilities with the local branch of the JSSDF Guard as well. With the shooting range, drill stations, and temporary detention center all located within the station's premises (close by in relation to the Iwadate Station to keep an eye on all the comers and goers), both the police and local military branch are well-equipped, well-trained, and generally ready to put down any threats which might come to threaten the town's peaceful well-being.
It is unknown, also, if the Devil Kings, Embryon, or any of the special force groups within the JSSDF have any connection to the area or spend any time in Iwadate. If they do, it is generally without the knowledge of the police or the local citizens...as aside from what they hear on the news, most of the unrest in the country seems far away to this peaceful coast town. Happenings viewed on the television in the Southern towns that never quite reach as high into the North as their own...
