~Iwadate Station~

One of the last stops on the transcontinental line of trains which spans from the southern edge of mainland Japan to the northern edge, the Iwadate Station is often busier than it perhaps should be due to all the tourists coming and going during their visits to the resort village. With a direct line from Iwadate Station to Oshu City, school groups and clubs often take this route from one to the other in order to compete in different games, matches, and club competitions against one another...making the two locations fairly bitter rivals. At least amongst the high schools.

It is possible to travel from the Iwadate Station all the way to the lower edges of the country in the Yasoinaba, Aki, and Iwatodai regions, but the journey is long enough that it would take the majority of a day to even begin to reach either.
