She knew it was not nice to follow... but she was doing t anyways. Ever had pretty much left without a word, strolling outside like he owned it. She remembered a previous conversation about 'patrolling', she was curious if this was what he was doing!
Maybe he was just going to work...
Turning into her powered form after she was somewhat away from their place, she tailed behind him for some time. For a minute she lost him.. but she felt a Nega aura suddenly appear close by, so she decided to follow that one. After all... it had to be him right?
Only by luck was it actually Ilmenite that she was following, she had yet to see him in his powered form.

Ilmenite went energy fishing: it was what he did, instead of chasing down Senshi, picking fights or gathering information, organizing the troops. Those agents who had strength or power used it as they used it, taking advantage of physical prowess to wage their war. Those with the cunning used their brains similarly, figuring out what was coming next, tracking movements and storing away nuggets of precious information.
The way Ilmenite saw it, his strength sat firmly in the social aspect of these things. In a group of people that seemed somewhat lamed in its fear of large crowds, of approaching strangers, of interacting with other human beings, he took advantage of his own social fearlessness to hunt down people like he'd been, until recently: loners who forgot to be careful and didn't have the support to take him down if they discovered him at work.
Tonight, though, perhaps due to one too many conversation or a lingering impossibly-good-mood, he'd decided to venture a bit closer to the hospital, leave his marks not too far from the safety of nervous doctors and nurses. Lyra would have to trail him over the tops of buildings, no longer nervous about making that leap from one to the next, and when she finally caught up she'd see him quietly finishing with a young man in a business suit.
He riffled through the man's briefcase and wallet, because he looked like he could afford it.

Roof jumping.
That friggin ROOF jumped?
Lyra was behind now more so than before, her nervous nature being tested as she caught Ilmenite in the distance, roof jumping like a gold metal pro. She gave a similar reaction to it as he did the first time he jumped, only she didnt over jump. She nearly UNDER jumped a few times. Catching herself on the ledge and leaning forward so she didnt fall backwards.
It took time and a bruise here or there that was forming, but she soon got the hang of it(sort of) and caught up to the energy signature. Slowing down to a walk, she approached the edge of the building and peered over it. She had not been detected apparently... so she decided to watch. Curious to see this in action.
....Was he stealing too?

"BAD BLOOD" The cry was sharp and lightly accented with precise hard letters. The flick of thin red needles were aimed more at the thickest parts of his clothes in a warning rather than true intent to injure.
"Isn't it bad enough that you're stealing their energy? Now you rob their pockets as well?" Her boot heels clicked against the pavement, black leather up to her knees half countered by the length of her skirt. Her hand had moved back already to the red brooch at her chest preparing another attack just in case.
"It's not too late... there are ways you can leave this life... no more stealing energy or lives." She sounded earnest, perhaps she was out of hope because he was just a lieutenant, but she was still ready to fight.

Pinpricks through the shoulder of his shirt; Ilmenite made a sharp, surprised noise and looked up at the girl. If he'd been focused on the world around him, instead of the man's rather-attractive license picture, he probably would have noticed MuCeph coming. As it was, the shout had brought his head up but didn't get him moving in time.
Now, at least, he kicked into motion; on his feet, still clinging to the wallet, he took off in the opposite direction from her without even pausing to indulge in a bit of witty reparte.
He recognized that she was stronger than him, right off the bat, and quite a few discussions had left him well aware that it was pointless to take that on as weak as he was. It was wiser to run than to stand and get his a** handed to him by a crazy, sadistic alien...

She made a frustrated sound deep in her throat and gave chase... if she could at least recover the stolen energy she could wake the man without waiting for him to sleep it off. She'd learned that un a previous run in, knocking the pearl like object out of another lieutenants hand.
"BAD BLOOD RIBBONS!!" She called with a quick and jarring stab of her finger against the brooch back to give her what she needed to create her attack. This time it wasn't needles... a wire...or ribbon of red crossed the distance between them, snapping whip like after him.

His instinctive reaction was a gasp of surprise, more than anything else; eventually the pain would kick through, welts rising where the duct tape didn't cover, but the immediate problem was the tangle of ribbon around his ankle, tripping up his feet, tangling.
Ilmenite went down in a cursing tumble, cheek scraping against asphalt and elbow colliding with the ground hard enough to leave his fingers numb. The magical attacks were problematic, yes, but falling on your face when you were topping six feet tall could be just as bad. One good tripwire could have taken Ilmenite down.
On the ground, he sprawled, cradling his arm, too dazed for a moment to get back up.

"Well..." She said releasing the cord and letting it dissipate back to wherever it had come from. "If you aren't going to listen, then please at least return the energy, this city has had enough people falling into unnatural slumbers."
She meant of corse the strange sleep that had taken half the city with it, the most recent events of Elision weren't much better with listless nights and troubling dreams that crossed into reality...or perhaps the other way around.
"I'm Super Sailor MuCephei... Senshi of blood... if you turn over the energy it won't be you bleeding."

The ener...oh. She'd seen that. Ilmenite blinked up at her stupidly for a very long moment before he went reaching for the pocketed bit of energy. His left arm was still useless, fingers twitching but unable to move properly, funny bone ringing.
He came up with the duct tape first, and it rolled limply out of his hand toward her feet. The energy came second, bright between his fingers. Ilmenite's eyes flashed up onto her as he held it between them, something like an offering except for the sharp, annoyed expression flashing across his face.
"...I ******** you." It wasn't clever, it was direct, and when accompanied by the way he gulped down the energy, it made a clear statement.

"...No thank you..." She replied with narrowed eyes and a frustrated sigh "HONESTLY..." He added and raised one booted foot before driving it forward towards his tail bone. "let me just demonstrate what a PAIN in the a** you people are..."
It wasn't like her at all to swear, but the turns of events of late had her more than a little strung out.

Up until this point, Lyra would fully admit to just watching and listening. More or less a little morbidly fascinated... so this was what it was like to fight a white moon senshi! Only, Ilmenite was running and not really fighting? Shouldn't he be fighting or...at least defending himself?
She was following as silently as possible on the roof tops, peering down at the duo from a birds eye view.
It was not until Ilmenite was on the ground.. and... a boot in his a**, that Lyra actually felt the need to do something. The two were significantly different in power levels...
Leaping off the ledge the senshi landed nearly on top of Ilmenite... or right next to him, her hair probably smacked him in the face. Eyes the same as before, she gave the senshi a smile that could be seen as friendly. "Would you kindly get off my friend, please." And with that she placed her hands on the other senshi... and -pushed- her away with as much force as she could muster.

...lots of rescuing by women, recently. As the foot had come down, Ilmenite had kicked into motion at last, struggling [with his still-numb hand] to crawl away from the crazy Senshi, trying to get his feet under him. The energy, at least, was starting to kick in, some of the sting gone out of his wounds and the power vibrating through him. He didn't pop them often, and generally Ilmenite preferred downers.
His heart pounded frantically as Lyra landed next to him, barely-restrained panic. It wasn't fear, not really, not a rational and normal kind of fear, but a thoughtless sense of anxiety and panic stemmed by the not-really-drugs in his system...but at the very least he got his feet under him and lurched up to stand, wobbling.
"...the hell are you..?"

"...L...Lyra?!" the breathless word dropped between them, wide eyes as dark as the blood-whip she had just used to trip Ilmenite, that revelation alone would have been enough to topple her. At first she had seemed a stranger, hair too long, uniform the wrong color, and the wings... dark and bat-like, but it was Lyra. She stumbled and fell in a rumple of skirts from shock and shoving.
"Oh god...Lyra!" she said said aghast. "... you didn't... why would you?" she shook her head baffled...hurt to see one of her oldest companions turned to their side. Logic...REASON was swift behind with all too many reminders that Lyra had joined the BMC, she had felt so strongly against the Negaverse that she would never have done this by choice. It rushed over the confusion in a cold wave of sorrow and pooled in her chest like unshed tears.
"How could they..."

"Awwh, but Ilmenite you know who i am though!" She turned her head, a single eye looking up at the man whom was over a foot taller than her. He really did know who she was, he would just need to remember!
If her hair color was not enough... the senshi whom called out her name was a good enough response. With a sigh, she shook her head. "No...no. Gave up that name. My name is Ammolite." Approaching the senshi whom was now on the ground Lyra looked down at them. Her smile was small, she gave a curious look towards the senshi of blood. "No kicking my friend around, ok?" She had half a mind to kick the senshi in HER rump back, wanting to protect Ilmenite from her, but she paused for a moment choosing instead to ask a question.
"Who are you anyways? You knew my old name..."

He'd never met her like this but -- he remembered Lyra, yes, and that name rang true. Another moment before understanding kicked in and he eased into action. His fingers were starting to regain feeling, so he reached out to grab her by the elbows and draw her back from the senshi, cheek still scraped and bloodied and his hands trembling.
Uppers. Really didn't like uppers.
"...s**t. Look, ah, Ammolite, just...let's go...back up quietly now, don't talk to her..." Though, to be honest, he did kind of want the senshi's name. A gift for Zink. That was what made him move slowly, instead of hauling her along as fast as he could...
