Any newly appointed Genin must report here to get their headband and acquaintance themselves with their Mizukage. Any other time it is where you can find the Mizukage in order to request missions and the like.

The boy with the blue hair out of his face knocked on the Mizukage's Office door. "Um, Lady Mizukage? I was told to come here, to get my headband and... aquaint myself with you. Something along those lines." The boy held his blade to the side, it being perticularly silent the entire way. 'Hey, you okay?' The Kiz and his blade shared a mind, due to the blade having a soul of it's own. 'Nothing...' A feminine voice in the Gennin's head rang. Something wasn't right. Once again, Kizenshi had to go through his memory to see if he had done and/or said something he should have said or done. Coming up with nothing, Kiz disregarded his blade and bowed before the Mizukage. "Hello, there, ma'am. I hope today has been a fine day." The Mist shinobi hoped she didn't get used to him acting this way. He was always like that, when he first met people. It would just last a lot longer for her, though, because she was the Mizukage. But he would wait until they became close before he actually dropped his 'polite' attitude. Or his temporary polite attitude. Whatever a person wanted to call it.

Mia was seated at the head of her table, leaned back and peering out the window. Stacks of papers were piled on her desk, scrolls littered about every corner and a bunch of headbands were stashed in a small compartment only she had access to at her desk. The Village was now getting on it's feet and she was heading the front, trying to pull it back to it's respectable former glory. Of all of her peers she was the one who had been chosen for this. She couldn't let them down. Righting herself in her seat she was startled when she heard a rapping on her door. Mia got to her feet and seated herself on her window sill. Her sea green gaze was directed towards the Genin that had just entered her office. He greeted her politely, stiffly and commented on her day. She held in her laughter, trying to play the serious role. Grinning, she didn't say anything, pointing to a small space before her desk for him to stand at. Let's see how far I can push him... No matter what position she took in this village she would always play true to her nature, ever the joker.

The boy followed her finger's direction, standing adjacent to her desk. He clutched his blade, still unsure of what to do, at this point. Was she going to test him? Attack - wise? Nah. She was the Mizukage. She probably, no, she surely had better things to do than attack a newly - appointed Gennin. He was surprised that she wasn't saying anything, though. 'Something isn't right.' Kiz spoke, directly to his blade. Which repeated it's small ritual of not answering him, with detail. He growled, considering the thought of his sword ignoring him, for the rest of his natural born life. Trying not to let it get to him, Kizenshi turned to the Kage and spoke, yet again. "So... Is there anything I'm supposed to be doing... in perticular? I mean, we just going to sit here or am I getting my forehead protector?" The Gennin looked forward to the four swerving lines to lay across his forehead. What an honor it would be for him. And a slap in the face - if you will - to his family; and all others who believed he didn't deserve to be a shinobi. Or lacked the skills or determination.

He was very spirited, that much was certain. Not even standing there for a few seconds and he was already jumping into things. No. This one was not going to be any fun to play with. Feeling dispirited she sighed and reached for the drawer where she had sealed the headbands away. Pressing one finger to the drawer with no key hole or handle, it sprung open. Grabbing what she was looking for, she held the headband up and away from her.
"Why do you want this so badly? It's just a piece of metal with some cloth attached to it." Mia asked, looking at him now with a stern expression. She couldn't just give this headband to any rookie who thought themselves deserving. Mia had been one of the very Shinobi that had acted as if the Village owed her something for her services and accomplishments. It had been her own teacher, may he rest in peace, that had slapped her with the reality of things. A Shinobi wasn't acknowledge as a Shinobi just because they wore their headband. They were one without it. Receiving a headband signified that you were loyal to Mist and that you were willing to protect those who couldn't protect the village with your life.

Kizenshi's face was quick to turn to a scowl, as he heard the question the Mizukage asked him. "With all due respect, I was asked this far too often in the Academy. I guess I'll answer the same way I always do." The Gennin paused before continuing his short speech. "I don't have to have a forehead protector. I'd be just as strong or just as weak, without it." Kiz flenched as he heard the yelling of Final Wave reverberate around his head. 'She's the Mizukage! Give her some respect!?' 'What a drag...' The thirteen - year - old clenched his forehead. "I don't want it 'badly'. But I won't get the respect I deserve from the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist if I don't have one. And I've made that my life time goal. So, if I have to, I'll take it." Kizenshi knew good and well that, if he went head -to - head with the Mizukage, she would kill him. But he had to prove himself worthy if he wanted the headband. His hand slid across his blade as he stared, blankly into the eyes of the Mizukage. "Do as you wish with the forehead protector, Lady Mizukage. But, whether you want to give me any respect or not, I'm becoming a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist." The scowl that the boy wore, so often, disappeared. He now awaited what else she would say.

Now Mia was hanging onto her good humor by a thread. This kid was too uptight and he was disrespectful. She could care less if he was disrespecting her but he was disrespecting the village that many had died for. Many she had known and fought along side with. She just observed him with cool expression now. "Now the real myster is, if you were asked that question in the Academy, how come they passed you..." Mia said, settling the headband beside her on the window sill. Mia got down from her perch, taking away some of her height but not all. She was still length for her size, mostly legs. Walking to her desk, she shuffled papers around, looking for his file. Finding it, she pulled it out. Ki-Kizenshi is it... Tossing the file on the desk she slammed both of her hands down roughly on the desk, on either side of the file. She smiled at him, her expression carefree but her eyes hard as stone. Any experienced fighter knew this look. It was one that spelled murder. "The Swordsmen of Mist fight for Mist. What makes you think you can join them with such half assed feelings? What makes you any different from a Rouge Shinobi!" Despite her cutting words her voice never rose. It stayed placated and feminine. "You come at me as if I am disrespecting you by withholding that with which you want with half hearted feelings; that very object which represents this village and you still go to say I am disrespecting you?" She shook her head, scoffing, her pretty smile gone. "I am not your friend, I am not your peer, I am not your family. I am your Mizukage. I am the one who passes judgment on all of your endeavors, here..." Mia said, pointing out the window. "...in this village. Unbelievable!" Mia ended, walking back to the window sill and leaning against it, her arms crossed. First Genin of my term and it's this type of personality! Wait a pain in the a**. She thought, pouting a bit.

"They passed me because I was capable. With a blade, that is." The boy clenched Wave, his grip possibly a bit too tight. He would get an ear - full for that, later... like always. "Who said I had half - assed feelings, because I don't think a headband makes a Shinobi." 'You think if I yelled blasphemy, I'd get more respect?' 'I... wouldn't try it.' 'Figures.' Kiz sat and listened to what the Mizukage said, before continuing to speak. Like he hadn't been lectured, a thousand times before. He just assumed it was a part of the ninja life, he heard so much about. He would hope to get used to it fast, or risk... headaches. "All I'm saying is a headband is such a cliche way of becoming a ninja. But Rogue shinobi still keep their headbands. If you ask me, having one would make me feel more like a Rogue than not having one. They just cross out the symbol. It's insane! It's like they're still high - class shinobi. And they're not. I have a need to fight for the Mist, as much as the next person. But I don't think I need a headband -- a great way to get identified by an enemy shinobi if I may add -- to be a shinobi. I'm just the same, without it. Don't you understand what I'm saying?"

Mia didn't say anything. As if he could, in return, lecture her. That was not the reasoning behind a headband. He was seeing it in the simplest of terms. That headband was an indicator that you belonged to your village, mind, body and soul. It was something that even Rouge Shinobi wore because it affiliated them with home, no matter the circumstances they were in. To Mia, a headband was better than words of respect towards another Shinobi or bowing before other Shinobi before a battle. It signified you were readily willing to battle them as a member of your village. The greatest honor. It must have been the new generation. "For someone so young. You are completely closed minded." Mia said, not bothering to look at him. It would just start her off again. Instead, she moved back to her desk and looked down at his file, bringing the headband with her. She began to scribble comments where she needed to. Automatically, she pushed the headband to the edge of her desk, not looking up as she continued to write stuff down. She was going to need to get some help in here soon. Writing stuff down officially was not her forte. "Kizenshi Hiro. You have been granted the Mist Villages headband...Protecting the village and it's people takes precedence before selfish desires and even your own life." Her voice was droned as she said this, still organizing his paper work. Having finished signing it off, she closed his file and set it a top the small pile she had gone through already. "Your squad will be determined at a later time. Is there anything you need from me as your Mizukage?" She asked him, now looking up at him. Just grab it and go little fly. She thought to herself, keeping that professionally eerie smile on her face despite her annoyance.

Crow walked into the office with his arms crossed and with his black and blue eye closed. "Yo I hear this is the place you get those metal things." He then looked at the other boy in the room he seemed not at ease. Well that kid looks way to young to be the Mizukage so i am guessing it is that pretty girl. He then looked at the girl at the window sill with his blue eye still closed.

Mia just stared at the new comer as he nonchalantly entered her office. She sat down in her chair, folded her arms on top of the desk and practically banged her head against her desk. What is up with these Genin?! She thought to herself. Trying to understand them was like trying to read a frog or something. "You mean a headband..." This was getting too depressing for her. Looking up at him with her cheek still pressed against the top of the table, she gave him a look, her icy sea green eyes assessing him by look. He seemed like the wild type. Unreserved and loud. "What is with your generation? I mean where the hell did all of the respect go?" Mia didn't move to reach into her desk just yet. She was required to chat with them for a bit before handing it over. If he was like the other kid she would not like this one bit.

"Sorry but i was never one for manners, Hell i don't even know what manners are." Vincent didn't know much about manners but he knew everything about respect, so he bowed and apologized for his rudeness. "Those headbands are pretty cool though." He then looked at the other kid who was complaining about the unimportance of the headband.
