-She was BORED.
After spending about an hour or so actively searching Sailor Juno had become bored with it all. She still wasn't great at patrolling, especially on her own..
So when she'd come across a wonderfully branchy tree, somehow Juno had ended up enamoured in it instead of what she was supposed to be doing. From branch to branch she climbed until she was about ten feet high, before she sat on a thick branch, and then uncerimoniously leaned backwards, dangling from where her knees held her.
Letting her arms and braids swing gently beneath her she took in the sights for the street she'd just come down... only upside down.-

Walking down the street instead of taking the usual "Batman" route over the roofs was arguably risky, but the way things had been going... Regulus figured that he'd take that risk over certain others. Besides if he had to henshin down in a hurry, it would take a lot less explaining.
What he hadn't particularly expected however, was to see another Senshi hanging down upside down from the tree like an Christmas ornament.
"Well that's one way of getting a different perspective on things."

-Her fingers were tinglinggggggg.. the soft prickley feeling of all the blood rushing from her legs and down her torso. If she stayed too long her head would certainly start to swim from the sudden influx but at the moment it was simply her fingers, crawling slowly up her hands and arms. She wondered if that lower branches was close enough to catch if she let her legs go, or even if her hands would be responsive enough for the save.
A voice pulled her attention away from her plotting, drawing upside down eyes in search of the source. It was a boy. But not JUST a boy, a boy who gave off that familiar thrum of power. It was a boy senshi. How very odd, how very exciting!
Juno had seen a couple in passing amid the chaos of giant group battles. But she'd never ever met one. Even her memories of the far past.. in a time before she could remember with any clarity.. there weren't boys. So why? And how?
She cocked a grin at his statement, swinging just a little as she debated between pulling herself back up to the branch or simply letting go and trying to land in some way that wouldn't bruise her body or ego.- "Ha! You have caught me"
-Her voice was loud, clearly oblivious to the fact or not caring if they drew any attention, and the tone hidden heavily in a clearly 'not from around here' Brazilian accent.- "What are you doing around here man senshi?"

He couldn't peg the accent save that it was exotic and interesting, and that was as close as he came to putting his finger on the origin.
"Well I was trying to catch some Youma if there were any out." He admitted. "But I haven't spotted any yet." He started to reach up and offer her a hand to shake, but then he wasn't really sure about the etiquette of shaking someone's hand upside-down. "Super Senshi Regulus, Senshi of Pride. Fine anything while you were hanging around?"
He couldn't help but grin at her antics, and wonder if the blood had gone to her head yet. It was kind of fun seeing someone actually stop and play while henshined up. Things had been going down a steady slope into serious-land ever since he'd first been handed his pen by Astrea, and he'd almost forgotten what it was like to see something happen that was either fun or ridiculous, like the time he'd gotten youma-goo in his hair by igniting and exploding the gasoline from a car that an (apparetly explosive and flamable) youma had been eating.

"Yes, they must be hiding tonight. I can not find any either, not even squirrel youma." -She agreed with his assertation, going so far as to stick her tongue out momentarily at the idea and her crummy joke. Some days they seemed like there were everywhere you turned and other nights well... you ended up wasting your time up a tree.
She noticed his hand go forward, was he trying to help her down? That was nice. He was still far enough away to not fall on top of, her legs released, sending her towards the earth. It was only years of gymnastics that saved her from planting on her face or bottom, landing on crouched feet and one hand for stability.-
"Sailor Juno of the Amazon Quartet. Senshi of Canopy" -She offered as she popped up from the ground, hand offered even as she seemed to shift a little and blink once or twice to regain her bearings.-
"I have never met a man senshi before Regulus." -It was matter of fact, her grin wide.- "Are there many of them here?"

"I've met a fair number, actually. Although someone did mention a way back that it had struck them as odd." He couldn't remember exactly who but someone had noted that senshi were purportedly only female, something that didn't seem to have been borne out by his past memories.
"Senshi of the Canopy huh? I guess that explains the hanging around in a tree... but what's the Amazon Quartet?"
He had the feeling from the way she'd said it that it was something he should have been more familiar with, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Tallulah might have known, but he hadn't been in communication with her... and was it Amazon as in 'warrior woman' like Bell? Or was it Amazon as in the Jungle? Or both?

-Quite a few huh? She filed the information back in her mind for later use. Perhaps she would get to meet more now, now that she was actually out patroling again. Regardless it was pretty cool, she eyed him a little more curiously, offering up after a moment.- "It is nice that you have pants and not a skirt. The magic would not make pants if it did not want boy warriors too I think." -All and all he was quite pleasing on the eyes, and she seemed to nod in approval.-
"Amazon Quartet is four" -Duh.. She raised her fingers as she named each name.- "Ceres, Vesta, Pallas, Juno."
"The four guardians and inner court of the future moon queen Small Lady"
"Princess Chibimoon" -She corrected herself after a moment, not many knew the group's fond name for their princess. It seemed obvious to her why they were called Amazon, who after all couldn't tell that she was awesomely Brazilian, so she did not clarify that portion.-

"It started off as shorts, can't say I minded the upgrade to long pants though. I looked like a boy scout with pyro-issues." He waved a hand in a vague joke about his own powers, then looked surprised... and interested. "Hey you work for Chibimoon? Seriously? That's really awesome!"
He hadn't met her yet, or heard much about her court, but she seemed like a much better option from what he had heard than courts like Blood Moon, or the apparently dissipated Black Moon.
"What's that like? I mean there seems to be a dime a dozen for courts these days, but we're short on... you know... actual princesses.

-'Pyro issues' was lost on her subpar english, but it hardly mattered because she was already grinning up a storm from the enthusiastic hand wave and the thought of boy scouts. They had those where she was from too.
His interest was also a welcomed surprise.- "We are friends yes. We were woken up in Brazil were we come from and actually came all the way up here to find her." -She wasn't even exactly certain on all the details herself.. how they'd awakened.. who had woken them up. If they had found Diana they might have had more technical answers, but as of yet well.. Juno wasn't the sort to be bogged down in details.
The question brought forth a puzzled look from green haired senshi, her hand even lifting to her cheek as she thought for a long moment. Really she had complaints that the court was not working as it should be.. but that wasn't what he was asking nor the sort of thing you told a stranger. Instead he got a strange mish mash of information.- "Mmmm... it is wonderful to have our group together and our princess found, but things are still a little lost. Chibimoon is confused by what she is to do. Following history she should have been born later. And been a full senshi to lead, not a small one. But something brings us here earlier? We are not sure what so she is uncertain."
"She will do what is right though. All the power of her mother is inside of her. It is destiny you know. And she is very kind so I know she will do what is best for all of us" -Well that was.. helpful..-

"Well sounds like she's got a good team around her." Regulus noted, sizing up the Amazonian Senshi. "That sounds kind of odd, the time thing." It sounded almost like somehow... time... had been altered, based on the confusion, but was that possible? He'd never seen a Senshi who could affect time, and it was frightening to think of the kind of power it would take to change history on a large scope.
"If she's got her mother's power though, that makes her as close as we have to what everyone's looking for." He wasn't sure Chibimoon would fit that odd little puzzle-slot that he, and he suspected every senshi, felt, but he wasn't sure he'd know until he MET her.
Juno was on the cute side anyway, and the attitude was refreshing.
"I've never been to Brazil, that must be a real change. How are you liking Destiny City?"

-It pleased Juno to hear some encouraging words about Chibimoon after all the guff she'd taken from various sources, and she decided she liked Regulus even more for it. She nodded a little as he spoke about time, offering her own thoughts with a mild head scratching.- "Time is very confusing sometime. Especially with different lives."
"When I was alive before many many years ago Chibimoon's mother saved us. But then put us back to sleep, because Chibimoon was not even born yet!"
"It would almost make more sense if there was a something or someone that was moving the time around." -She waved away the thought finally because it was well.. difficult.. and terribly intangible to grasp at without the help of her other friend's memories. And besides, he'd brought up something more exciting!-
"Destiny City is very different! I miss home sometimes, but here is neat too. I lived in a quiet area before so the city here is very interesting. So many things to see and things to do for the first time."
"Like Mardi Gras!" -That was still fresh on her mind.- "Is very different than Carnivale at home."

"...Weird. The only person I can think of who'd be anything like that powerful was that Kurma guy who keeps popping up, but he hasn't really demonstrated any sort of Timelord powers. Of course who knows if we'd know if he DID so..."
Kurma was already enough of a hard to pin down figure without tossing him a blue-policebox. God that would be a total nightmare.
"Never really got into the whole Mardi Gras scene, the costumes and everything look like fun, but some people just take it a little far. Especially in New Orleans I understand."

"Kurma...?" -So familar... the name was at the tip of her tongue.. definately someone she knew. Ahhh! That was right. Chibimoon had spoken of him before, fondly at that, even if it had been in passing.- "Chibimoon does know him though! I will ask. Maybe he is the key." -Her hands clapped together once, seemingly praising him for his clever thought.
His opinion on Mardi Gras received a grin that was some strange hybrid of pride and sheepishness. She had probably gone too far, atleast that's what her foster parents would have said if they'd had time before she'd suddnely been struck 'ill' after a certain dream battle.- "In Brazil it is almost a week long celebration. Dancing parades, no school, all the town is excited and happy and bright."
"Here one of my friends from school showed me how to get beads. And I ate and drank many wonderful things. I do not really even remember how I ended up where I did by the end of the weekend."
-She laughed, rubbing her head mildly as she regarded the memory of the crazy weekend.- "I took too far perhaps"

"Mayyybe a little." Regulus suggested, though he laughed doing it. "A whole week? Man that must be some party." He couldn't imagine partying for a week straight, though he was pretty sure it involved a lot less tedious cocktail talk and a lot more revelry than some of the parties he'd been to. The idea of a real chance to cut loose sounded very tempting right now, though it was also way too easy to imagine one of the Negaverse agent using such an opportunity to harvest large amounts of energy, or star-seeds, on the sly.
"Maybe someday I'll have to see about visiting Brazil, it could be fun." He admitted. "I don't know if we'd be able to pull off something quite that grand here in Destiny."

-It was definately 'a little', especially considering the fact that the girl beneath the henshin of Sailor Juno had only turned 16 a few months before the whole experience. There had definately been a little luck on her side, but her spunk probably hadn't hurt in keeping her safe from the darker edges of what could have happened. But she had never been a worrier and she met his laugh with another wide grin.-
"There it is the last big party before the weather starts to cool. So we like to drag it on as long as possible."
"This year I was just glad to do something fun after so long of..." -She paused thoughtfully.. surely he knew what she meant.. after a winter so long so.. packed with dreadful things. All starting with that cake monster at the halloween ball. And then all the cold... and the snow monster. And then the dreary sleepiness that had taken over the town for what seemed like ever.- "This senshi stuff can get kind of stressful" -And painful, she admitted after a moment.-
"If you can go sometime it is totally the best." -She added matter of factly to his idea. Everyone should visit Brazil! As she often stated quite loudly at school.-
