Hello all! I'm going to be doing an essay examining role players. If there are people out there willing, I'd love to ask you some questions about your role playing---an interview, if you will, though that makes it sound much more formal than it really is.
It's preferable if you role play both on and offline (though not a requirement), and if you're interested in helping me, if you could just post here and say what sort of rping you do, if it's primarily one or the other. It doesn't matter how long you've been doing it; you can be just starting out playing rpgs with friends a couple a weeks ago, or a seasoned DnD veteran.
I need to have the disclaimer that yes, I will be recording your answers for my essay, but it's not like this is getting published or anything. It's my paper for my final. Of course, anonymity will be kept, and I get to give you a funny name whenever/if I quote you. Well, if you request it, I can keep your Gaian username, but please know that I won't be describing you in any way besides possibly gender and age.

Haha, thanks Amy! Although I'm required to conduct my own independent research/interviews as well, I'm definitely going to be looking at some of those papers there.

Believe it or not... I play DnD. I also roleplay on here, but you already knew that. I'm in the middle of a campaign and neither one of them are primary... although I haven't been on the internet so I guess that would make DnD primary.

Considering I roleplay on here, do tabletops, and play rpgs for consoles, I think yes, I could help, and yes, if you need me, I'll help ya out XD

I'd help you out. I have done online RPs for years. I have only done a few table top rps, nothing big, but I've got some experience.

I've watched tabletops go on, but I never really got into it. But I've been roleplaying online for years so, yeah.

I'm willing to be interviewed, if you still need participants. While I've only actually RPed online, I've read more than a couple offline RP manuals in an attempt to DM for some friends, though schedules kept getting messed up (mostly mine x.x), so I have a good bit of knowledge on that, just no experience.
My only condition is that, when you talk about me, call me Cthulhu, if a name must be used at all. =w=

I'm game too, though I don't do too much table top anymore, I used to play it quite often with my friends, though it was a good few years ago. It's mostly just online rping now, text based. But if you still need help I would be happy to assist ^^
