- Echo - - Aryll -

Echo sat alone in the team room, needing nothing more than a cup of herbal tea and a book about Pokemon conversation. She'd been meaning to stop being so anti-social and more talkative. It just didn't feel right. But this book was sure to help, right? The large, dusty tome was well over half the size of herself, but Echo had no trouble reading it. Rather, it made it easier for her to make markings in it when she had something she wanted to remember. Today, it was 'Buy different tea.' It was at that point a timid hand knocked on the door. Echo finished up the sip of tea, stuck out her tongue in disgust (yes, she has emotions too) and got up to answer the door.

As soon as she opened it, the Manaphy on the other side started talking. "Hello, my name is Aryll. A-ree-ell. Can I come in?" She had a smooth voice that was easy to listen to. Not used to random legendaries walking into their room, Echo was a bit startled.

Now what did that book tell her about greetings again? Ah yes, comment on the first thing they say and offer something appropriate for the situation. "Er, yes. I'm Echo. Please... come in. Aryll was it...? Uh, b-beautiful name. Would you like something... to drink?" Manaphy were water types, right? What was she doing out? The small Treecko stepped awkwardly aside, leaving space for the Pokemon to enter. This small talk would be the death of her, she could tell from five seconds of speaking it.

The legendary carefully walked in and looked around. "Thank you, you are very kind. And I'll be fine on water for a while." She said, smiling. Echo nodded stiffly. She didn't know why the Manaphy said anything nice about their room, they'd just moved in! Although she didn't agree with the room part, she had to agree with the legendary. I mean, they were... legendary. Um, now what? The Manaphy didn't offer up an prompts for conversation! The book always said you could make conversation by answering whatever question the other Pokemon had! That was it, she would have to make one up herself.

Echo motioned for the Manaphy to take a seat on their only chair in the room as she quickly closed the book on conversation so it didn't seem like she had any issues. Now that she thought about it, why was the Manaphy here, anyways? They were an unimportant team in a very popular guild. She had to be lost or something. "So, what brings you here, to our humble room? If you're looking for the guild master he's in the upper chambers." Solaris was probably extremely busy, but she was sure a legendary walk-in would be allowed.

"Guildmaster? No silly, I like it here!" Aryll covered her mouth and giggled cutely. "I just came from the sea on an epic quest, and I needed somewhere to stay, and frankly, the only reason I'm here right now is because you were the first room I saw! But I really like you... Echo, was it? Can I join your team for a while, until I found what I'm looking for?" She explained calmly.

Echo was slightly taken aback. A legendary... joining their team? For a long time? What would Zephyr think? He probably wouldn't mind... but who knew, Zephyr was weird. Argh, Echo, no time to think, a legendary is waiting on you to respond! "Ah, y-yes, yes of course! Stay as long as you like, and make yourself at home." Now for the introductions. Echo was good at this, even though she wasn't much of a talker. "I'm Echo, the team leader. We have Zephyr, the co-captain. He's a Scyther, and a little grumpy. Gypsy is a Vulpix, and... very happy. We're Team Altitude, and happy to have you with us. And don't worry about the water issue, we'll have a pond built for you shortly. The kitchen is over there, the beds are in that room there, and that is our item and TM chest. Feel free to take whatever you like from anywhere." She exhaled loudly. That was probably the most she's spoken in a couple years. But when you were alone and needing to explain something no one else would do it for you.

Aryll smiled widely, jumped off the chair and twirled around. Her eyes glittered with happiness. Oh, TM's, she said? They didn't have those back home! She would use a lot of those here! "Thank you! Thank you so much! I'm so glad to be apart of Team Altitude!"

When the box reached Team Altitude's room, it became apparent just from looking at it that it wasn't something to idly mess with.
A note and a small, small pendant with a chain that extends and retracts comfortably to adjust to the holder's size.
The deep, deep blue gem that was held in place by the chain shone dimly.

Use this in the most dire of situations. You'll find a power you never knew you had, if but once.

God Orb. Allows you to deliver an especially powerful finishing blow to a boss in a chapter. Mission uses may be applicable as well.
