 She was waiting for something to happen today... something to make this day less... boring.. more entertaining. Sure she'd been practicing being more ladylike and less tomboyish all morning much to the amusement of her grandfather but now both he and her mother had had to leave in search of her Aunt. That left her alone in the grassy clearing to just enjoy the day in what ever way she would. Rakshi wasn't here... he was off doing... heavens knew what.. probably off exploring or something without here and Leila was off with their father some place that she was sure of.
Flopping out in the grass, she let out a huff of a sigh and just waited, watching the clouds disperse above her. Where did they all go?? did they die when the pulled apart like that? Did it hurt? Did they just fade away to nothingness?? How strange clouds were....

 It had been awhile. And he had had little success with his journeys, with his...hopes or training. It hadn't been good at all. He had come to talk to Mera, to speak to her and have her help him find his place...To be more ready to fight and to journey. He was sad, disillusioned. Things were falling apart before his eyes. And he was back at the start. Maybe that was where he needed to be to fix things. His mind was full as he walked into the meadow, but then those thoughts that had been so present in his mind were gone. There was a young mare, laying in the grass not far ahead. Blushing, he let out a slight cough. Maybe he'd come to the wrong place...but he was sure this was right.

She blew at the seed tuft from a milk weed's flower and watched as the little white seeds scattered about into the breeze. Giggling to herself, she stood up and shook out her veils and have a hop wight into more of the white puffs that had been the yellow flowers of a weed only days before. The white seeds puffed up around her and scattered all about her causing her to skip and hop like a young filly only to turn around and realize she'd been watched throughout her giddiness.
A sheepish look crossed her face as she tried to compose herself to a more... noble form befitting her family. "Sorry.. I didn't know some one had been watching...." She smiled and trotted over trying to be as ladylike as possible only to step into a gopher hole and go tumbling head over tail. "Oof!" She came to a skidding halt in the grass and looked up grumbling to herself. Standing she lost her composure. "For the love of all that's sacred.. those suckers should learn where not to dig!." She glared back at the now muddled up hole that had done her in. Sher she looked pretty and dainty but as soon as she opened her mouth any facade that had lead one to think of her as a lady was forgotten.

Illarion was taken back by her vivaciousness, whoever she was. She had pounced around, used...quite figurative language, and then fallen royally on her face. But it was positively...adorable. She was trying to be so civilized, so perfect...but she had just failed. It was like she had been unveiled or unmasked.
It was just...charming. Somehow, he felt at ease with her though he hadn't spoke. She was free, vicarious. She was who he saw and nothing else, she was incapable of hiding who she was really. Wasn't that an admirable quality? More so than grace or beauty? But she had beauty, and she was herself.
He felt himself blushing as he thought about that. "I'm sorry, can I help you up?" He looked down at her gently, offering his help.

"Nah, Pop pop always said...." She did a throaty maleish voice and gave a stern look. "Lass.. When you fall pick yourself up. A knight in battle falls swinging and if he can get back up he get's back up to protect that which he holds most dear." She couldn't hold the deep tone for long and soon had broke into a fit of giggles as she shook her coat out. "Hi.. I'm Tian by the way.. Family falls me Tia for short though. Were you looking for some one? Or just passing through?"

Illarion beamed at her. She was very happy even in falling, "He sounds like he's a good stallion." He nodded, "I'm Illarion. And I was looking for someone, but that's not important anymore. I'm much more interested in getting to know you." He gave her a bright smile.

She snickered some. "Well he definitely tries... He left with my mother to go find My aunt Damia.. Think something might be up because they both seemed in a hurry to get going." She pondered that for a moment before shrugging. "It's a pleasure meeting you though Illarion...." Illarion?? hmm why did that name sound familiar.... " Say You wouldn't happen to know a Mare with green veils and a blue mane would you?" She stopped and blinked though as it registered the last bit he'd said. "Get to know me???"

Illarion seemed a bit taken back. That named sounded...familiar...Damia..."Yeah, I do. Do you know her?" He could feel his face turning ten shades of red. "Yeah..I mean...I thought. You were...interested. And interesting. I mean not to say you're not now. Just...you seem angry? Mad. I should probably shut up."

She blinked a few times. "Yeah.. I know her.. she's my mother.. one with green armor right? A chest plate and leg guards?" She shook her head slightly. "Oh I'm not mad it just took me by surprise is all" She chuckled lightly. "So, what all would you like to know?"

Illarion's face was bright crimson. "Your...MOTHER?" He felt a bit frightened now. He'd been very forward with this female and he knew her mother. It didn't seem quite right. And She was well...Wow. She was amazing, graceful in an ungraceful way. "I wanted to..." He was getting even redder now. "I wanted to get to know you...as a person. As a you, you know...."

"Yup! Merashik's my mom doesn't look a stitch like me does she?" She giggled some. "I get my markings and white underbelly from my father..." She grinned wide. "Well than what's stopping you from getting to know me as an individual?" She chuckled some only to stop as he seemed to be having a hard time getting out what he was trying to say. " To know me as a what? Oh common don't just trail off a leave a girl hanging.. Has a ferret stolen your words?"

"You're definitely, not your mother." He smiled, blushing at her even more. "Will you walk with me? I'm interested in knowing you, all about you...I don't know how to be forward. I mean, I don't know you. But I like you...and..." He ducked his head shyly.

His meaning totally flew over her head as he spoke. "Walk with you? Sure where we going?" She chuckled once more. "As for getting to know me ask any question you want heh, I'll let you know if it's something I'd rather not talk about or say." She gave a nod. "Well.. I'm glad you didn't just hate me right off.. it doesn't make good when trying to meet strangers if they hate you when they see you." She giggled for a moment then his words finally sunk in with their meaning, bis blush and the rest. "Oh......" She looked rather awkward in that moment. " I see.." Se had a moment to look almost shy in that mareish sort of way and a faint blush even formed on her cheeks.

Illarion walked with her for a moment, his face crimson before he tried to form any more words. "Erm, well...what do you think about that?" That's not what he should have said, "I mean...are you seeing anyone?" That was a bit to blunt. "I mean do you like me?" Oh dear, that was not it all. "I think maybe I should.....shut up now."

She thought a moment and nodded. "I think you're rather nice.. but if you had been looking for information on my status.. no I'm not seeing anyone... males tend to walk a wide circle around me.. I'm not... mareish enough for them.. either that or they got tired of getting their butts beat.." She snickered some. "It's ok though.. pop pop says I'll eventually get over my awkward tomboyish ways when the times right."
