Terrance Chamberland awoke to the cooling breeze of the morning wind. A wind that took him back to what his days used to be like. Not long ago was a lone wolf, a stallion with no one to care for but himself. He could go on any adventure he pleased, to the highest mountain or the deepest valley. Caring for no one but himself. Though now he had three young ones to look after, a family something he could only have dreamed of having. A smile grew on his face as he looked around at each of his children. Each one of them was unique in their own way and perfect to him. He'd never take it back he thought, it was definitely better to be a group then a lone explorer.
After he was done looking at his beautiful dream-like children, he looked towards the sky and saw the sun was already up. "Oh no this won't do," he said under his breath with a shake of his head. He quickly stood to his feet and said aloud to his family, "It's time to get up my loves!"At the sound of her fathers voice, Shirlyn quickly rose with a smile on her small little face. She stretched her small legs and stood up on all fours. She had no idea what was going on, but she had decided that if her father had called them it must be important! Her eyes were still slightly closed as she spoke with a chipper voice, "Morning father!"

Curled up with his brother and sister, with his little white nose tucked against a spindly foreleg, was Deanneth. At the sound of his father’s voice he curled more tightly into a little ball and groaned, “Just a few more minutes, Dad…” Then, at the scuffle of movement from his sister, followed by her chipper voice, the colt lifted his head and blinked bleary eyes at the world around him. With both Shirlyn and his father up, there would be no chance of catching a few extra z's, so he staggered to his little hooves and mumbled with a drowsy smile, “G’morning.”

& Angeetia had drifted as per usual. Her mind was off on it's own. Lucid thoughts pertained to being a mother once more. Her last family had fallen apart she knew now that she could have been partly at fault.
She tilted her head to peer at the sky, it seemed she never slept these days, by night she felt more like herself, by day she was quite aware of the life the played about her hooves. Two little boys and a darling little girl. They were all interesting in their of way. Blessedly none seemed to have her intense affinity to shadows. Both her girls before had them. They were bound to be better then her, no shadows to haunt them or change them, they'd be fine and better then her.
She noticed Terrance moving and she shifted, how he'd come to give her these baskets baffled her. She couldn't remember how it happened, she knew how they came about cause she had the baskets before but she couldn't recall the deed. She didn't care though she had a new family, another chance, and she was determined to make it right this time. He gave her this chance and she knew it. Gideon couldn't recall sleeping, he couldn't recall the sun going down either. His fathers voice stirred his attention. He was certain that he should have been asleep though it didn't seem so. He tossed his head though and rose to greet everyone. He shook off the misplaced feeling as if it were nothing. He was growing accustomed to these odd happenings, merely small lapse's in memory. His sister was up and his brother was up as well so it was only right that he rise right? Of course right his father had said it was time to get up. He'd have to listen to him.
Today he would be... hmm he tilted his head to the side thinking about it. Was he a king today? A Knight? An explorer? NO He was a HUNTER, fierce and strong. He held his head high as if he were about to burst out a roar in pride for himself. He'd be mighty and powerful like a lion or tiger ready to pounce on it's prey. Then It came to him, he'd yet to respond, ever so silent like his mother. "Morning becomes the Eve and rise we do." His words never made much sense to him but he spoke them heedlessly. It was a broad greeting to everyone not specific in it's nature but he spoke to all.

Terrance gave a smile as he watched each of his young ones rise at their own pace. He couldn't help but give a chuckle as he listened to his one son want to sleep longer. "Deanneth you can sleep more later, now when the sun is at is peak is not the time to rest but to adventure," he spoke with a caring voice that sounded British like. Then he quickly turned and heard his other son speak, "Right you are my boy. Each moment becomes the next." Once he finished his words he realized that was why he couldn't just let them have a boring day resting, he had to get them out to see the world or a little part of it anyways. Adventures soon became stories, stories that would always have a place in his kids childhood. Though right as he was about to speak of his plans of going on a family adventure he saw Angeetia rise.
The women who had given him this chance to be a father was now joining in, in the family rising. "Good morning, love. Aren't you looking beautiful this fine morning," he said smiling towards her for a moment forgetting what he was going to say to everyone. Before he quickly remembered, "I was thinking we should all go on an adventure together into the forest, right here and now. How does that sound to everyone?"
Shirlyn quickly walked over to her daddy's side and nuzzled him gently. Then she walked over and did the same to her mother's side. It wasn't fair if she didn't give both parents the same love in the morning she decided. Plus she loved them both greatly even if their coats and looks were so very different. As she finished nuzzling them both, she stood in between them and looked at her two brothers and smiled. Though she loved her family...Part of her really wished she could be off dreaming in private. Though then if she did that who knew what her family would think of her. So she decided promptly she would stay and see what her father had in mind for the day.
The moment her father's mouth said adventure she quickly shouted, "Adventure, yay!" If they went on an adventure she might just might, have more to dream about when she could sneak away from the others that night. "You can count me in daddy!" she said with no hesitation what so ever in her voice.

Starting to feel more awake now, Dean shook his mane out and blinked the sleep from his eyes as he surveyed his family with a happy little smile. He snorted playfully at his brother; he was used to Gideon's odd comments and loved him, even if he didn't always understand him. As he did every morning, he trotted to his mother's side and gave her a gentle nuzzle, "Good morning, Mum." Angeetia was always quiet and distant, but Dean had no doubts that she loved her children and he hoped she enjoyed the little morning ritual.
As the other members of his family said their good mornings, Dean stood by watching them happily. To the young foal, his family was everything. Even if he didn't understand their ways all of the time, and even if he wasn't really the adventuring type, he was happy stay by their sides to just be with them. His little plum ears perked at the mention of an adventure together and he grinned at Shirlyn's enthusiasm. The dark, fuzzy tail flagged and his little hooves shifted excitedly, "That sounds fun! Where are we going?" His voice, though excited, was soft and accented; he'd picked up his father's accent.

Angeetia shifted at all the nuzzles she received. Her solemn gaze watched her new family. It was odd. It was all so much different this time. She placed her old daughters from her mind as she watched her new families compassion. It was odd, a small tingling was seated deep in her chest. She smiled at Terrance's warm words, The sky was curing blue a soft hint of yellow blended in with it. The colors were much different then what she'd once been accustomed to.She even smiled at Dean who spoke up to her. She even smiled at Dean who spoke up to her. "A Good morning that it is."
She turned shifting her view to face her family as an adventure was suggested. She shrugged she'd not halt the families fun. With the sun rising her form was harder to see. Her shadows swirled but were dimmed as well not one for enjoying the sun light.
Gideon blinked his glowing eyes dancing like his mothers shadows. He watched as everyone nuzzled his mother but he made no steps forward to nuzzle her in kind as thy did. He cocked his head grinning at an adventure. "Over the hills and Beyond to see what lays ahead of the dawn." He nodded eager to head forward yes. Each moment did become the next, and time would continue. His shuffled his hooves ready get the whole ordeal underway. He started moving and edged closer to his mother.
He shook his head as his mothers shadows danced at his side. "Let us be on our way to journey forth and explore." He hooped a little eager to be on his way. He was a pirate searching for his booty. "Of to the X that marks the spot!"

Terrance watched as Angeetia smiled, his mind began to silence everything around him as he looked at her. She sure had such a wonderful smile he thought to himself as he stared at her for a moment. It didn't take him long to realize his children had begun to ask him questions. So he quickly shook his head and turned towards them, "Tis true Gideon we will be doing such things eventually! Though for now I believe we should start small and just venture into the woods and see what stories we might be told." With those words he gently nuzzled all of his children, and then he slowly turned towards the wood. He then slowly glanced back at Angeetia and said with a smile on his face, " Love, would you like to go first?"
Shirlyn couldn't help but bounce up and down. Her family's first adventure together, what could be more exciting? She quickly ran over to where her brother Dean stood and nuzzled him. "It'll be the best! Especially since we'll all be together. I mean mom, dad, you, and Gideon...I mean mom you are coming to right?" she said with a smile and perky voice as she looked towards her mom with a smile.
In these moments, Her voice was so convincing in all that she said. That no one in her family would never ever be able to tell if she was saying was what she really felt or not. No one would question though and inside she knew that, since she gave no reason for them too. Though for all they could see she really wanted to be with them and do this adventure more than anything in the whole wide world. It was mostly true that she could admit to herself, since after all she loved her family very much even if she never really showed them all of her.

Dean beamed happily as his father and sister nuzzled him; his family was his entire world and the young foal couldn’t imagine a life without them in it. Even if his mother wasn’t a warm and nurturing mare, he had never known anything else. He’d grown up with his brother’s oddities and couldn’t imagine him any other way. He never suspected that his sister was a master actress, he couldn’t comprehend that she was anything other than the façade she showed to the world. How could the carefree colt know that his own naivety would someday be his downfall? That the underlying issues might someday cause irreparable rifts in his family?
He couldn’t know. But for now it didn’t matter. For now, he was happy.
With a laugh, Dean nipped gently at Shirlyn’s mane before bolting and running a large circle around his family, his world. His thin, gangly legs stretched and he reveled in the feeling. He bounded to a stop near his father and looked expectantly at his mother, hoping she would come and share this moment with them all.

Angeetia shook her head softly at Terrance's question. Little pet names caught her off guard she wouldn't object to him but she was still unfamiliar with the oddity of an actual companionship. "No, I'm not much for leading." She shifted her head to the side with a slight roll of her shoulders. She wouldn't disappoint Shirlyn though she was going to follow along. "I will join you all though." She smiled softly and moved forward with the small movement they had thus made.
Gideon eyed his mother before shrugging it off. She was odd and though he was like her she seemed so different. He jumped a little watching his siblings playful loving and wasteful mingling it was of the utmost importance that they speed off to find his treasure! "Forward Point I shall Steal! Off into the Black abyss to naught return!" Of course all he meant by that was that he'd take the lead, not caring where they went because he was on a mission to the dark abyss where he'd find his booty marked by an X.
His eye's danced as he moved up past his father and mother ready to take on the world. Innocent of any and all dangers that could lay before him. He'd never need to worry about them either for ignorance is bliss and the other side of him would keep him shielded.

Adventure time was near and it appeared like everyone was on board! Shirlyn was so happy as she bounced around. Everyone would get to be together today, what could be better than that she thought. Until she felt the n**, it was her silly brother. "Hey," she said sweetly while laughing. She quickly began to race after Dean happily. She raced around behind him hoping to catch him. She really wasn't sure what she was going to do when she caught up to, but chasing him was fun in itself. That was until he stopped, and she ran smack into her dad's side. "Woah there little one," Terrance said with a chuckle as looked down at his daughter, "No need to harm yourself before the adventure even starts." Their kids were definitely one of a kind he thought as he looked back Angeetia and smiled. He listened to her soft words and nodded. "Yes love," he said joyful that the whole family would be on board. "Well in that case I shall lead the way!" he spoke out to everyone present before turning back to the eye catching female who had agreed to come along. "If you'd like to love you are free to walk by my side, and that way we could lead together if you wish?" after his offer he waited for a moment to see her response. Part of him hoped she would say yes, but the other part understood completely if she didn't. The front was a very strange place until you got used to it. Even he wasn't that used to it in all honesty.
