So, I just finished this game not too long ago, and it was amazing!
For those who don't know, 999 is an adventure/mystery game where you play as a character who has been kidnapped and must escape from a sinking ship (which has a strange connection to the Titanic) within 9 hours.
It's setup is similar to that of Phoenix Wright (if anyone knows what that is), but the game also makes great use of the DS system's dual screens (particularly at the end).
For me, the largest general let down of mysteries is when an ending does not make sense (I love mysteries with a burning passion), but this game does not disappoint with its true ending (based on how you act and what you do, you change the outcome of the story! The goal is to reach the true ending, which can only be done by getting a specific "bad" ending first).
I'd recommend to anyone with a DS (though it is very different than Zelda, generally).
